My WafflePool Unconverted has hit a new record high level.

Seems to all be in auroracoin, I assume there's a long confirmation time, and due to the skyrocketing value we keep accruing more.  Hopefully tomorrow's payout will be higher once we have steady confirmations coming through, my actual payout for the last 24 hours was something like .0065 per Mh/s:(

Yep, looks to be a ton in aurora.  We account for depth (and a lot of the time, over-account), so we shouldn't have a problem getting those coins exchanged, and probably at a higher rate than we're expecting.  I went through and double checked (cause it is a ton of unexchanged), and we're actively exchanging the blocks as they confirm, they're just a very slow coin to mature (100 blocks mature time, 10 min per block = 1000 minutes = 16+ hrs).  I'll put a slight damper on it for now to try to avoid piling up much more, since we do have quite a bit already, and I'd rather us not be too exposed to a major market drop.

Hashrate and profits aren't really linked at all.  The growing hashrate is due to more miners mining.  The dropping profits is due to overall market forces (very few coins are more profitable than litecoin - at least right now, and litecoin's profitability is lower than usual as well.

I like Wafflepool but despite all that bashing on MiddleCoin, could anyone explain these number to me?

Does anyone have any accurate measurements? No different days, no 4-minute switching but just identical rigs mining different pools for say a week?

-xJx-

I actually mining on both since 27th of feb 18 GMT

with the same address on the same pc with two identical cards (amd 6970 - 490-500khs/each)
159gu6Gme6PsRK6Y4v243dR4N7xYKJ4skX on eu servers  0.5-0.1 % rejects

correct me if I am wrong.. but if waffle pool places a stratum box in asia it still has to reach all the way
back to the core server running all the coin daemons. Thus while you might get less stales the work you
are working on might be outdated due to latency from the coin daemon to stratum. So while you get less
stales the pool might get more orphans from that asian server?

How have the payouts been? Identical? One better then the other?

I spent all day with my biggest mining rig today, and got 300kh/s out of it, but because of many issues over the past week, my payouts have been crappy from Waffle, plus a falling rate per mhs.

u can see the earnings , just be aware that had some unexchanged piled up on MC when i started mining with Waffle

what helped me with rejects and WU was
--queue 5
--scan-time 1
--expiry 1
--gpu-threads 1 (with 500 or lower khs i strongly suggest this last one)
--I 18 ( ofc its faster with 19 or 20 but  MORE rejects)

495 khs with each cards

MC   GF: 1     A:600064   R:9216 (last 22 hours) WU:467.5/m
WP   GF: 205  A:1347584  R:2048 (last 48 hours) WU:470.9/m

( i didnt had this many GF since i started a few days ago , still its nothing to realy worry about as i see)

payoutwise MC is not even close to what u expect based on the front page stats
WP brings what it shows .

and yes a few weeks ago i was happy with MC but i prefer WP now as it is a lot more user friendly  ( full respect for that !! )

Probably due to the heaps of Auroracoin we are sitting on and the wildly fluctuating value of it on exchanges.

Hello,

I have made a terrible mistake by setting the username as incomplete bitcoin address. I have been mining 8 hours with wrong address. The wrong address had 2 letters missing from the end. Now I have fixed this error but what happens to the bitcoins I have already mined?

Wafflepool is not responding to my email, so maybe they can anwer here Smiley

He said he would be out of town until Thursday, so I'm guessing replies will be a touch delayed.  Does the stats page pull data for the incorrect address you used?

How accurate is this info on your site? I signed up a few days ago and kind of forgot about it..

Your website claims:

Bitcoins per MH/s: 0.005143 for my stats

Wafflepool itself claims quite a bit higher than that.. Who has the right math here?

no stats, only says "Invalid BTC Address!", but when i was mining everything worked good so the coins must be somewhere out there.
