If you are suggesting that the pool operator hold the coins we mine and try to time the sells to maximize profit (ie if a coin goes down below it's usual value maybe hold it for a few days to see if it goes back up) I would be in favor of that. I'm definitely cool with more risk/more reward

imo it's not the job of a multipool to keep coins for a longer time than necessary in the hope the price might rise again. it's too risky.

If you want this, go with a multipool that allows you to withdraw the coins mined yourself, as opposed to auto-switching to BTC.  There are several out there.

I'm working on it right now.  Essentially its an issue with having fewer coins actively being mined (just because there are fewer profitable in the last day or so).  If we start on litecoin, switch to doge, and go back to lite before a block has been found, we end up with some duplicate shares.  I'm working on a patch right now, not sure on ETA though.  Has nothing to do with EU vs other servers, should be across the board.

Hi PW. well it is something with eu server, since i switched to us east i havent had a single reject (running teice as much accpeted as on euserver) since then, usually that was the case with eu before but now i still get over 5% reject there, something is up with it. and havent got payot yet, later then usual today?

I agree 100%!

It's bad enough around here when payments are delayed a couple of hours, can you imagine the whinging and hollering if the pool lost money because a coin that was being held crashed?

Hello

I've been mining on useast server for last 10 hours and having roughly 15 times less rejected shares than i had prior to that on eu server.

Give it more time?  You can always look up the txid on blockchain.info or a similar website for further spend status information.

You honestly thought I had not tried refreshing the page?
Or that I had not tried waiting a while and trying again?

Do I submit stale shares or not? I currently discard them. But I see coin switching pools recommending submitting stale shares.

You should submit them since the pool may still accept them especially with low diff coins.  You're reject % may go up slightly, but your overall accepted shares will increase.

Thanks very much for the info. I updated my settings now. I was getting around 7% stale +rejects it should probably come down now.

Hi!
Well that would be the idea...
Could be done manually trades (like in middle), or automated, using a predictive software ou implementation of it (hold up to 72 hours registering value when it was first hold, movements on the pricing of the coin, selling it above inicial pricing ou at least same value.
If selled about pricing, warn OP of the sell bellow, and give oportunity to OP to finetune the settings.

This is just one of a few ideas... i know 1% is a very low fee for Waffle to do, but if he rises to 1.5% that extra percent x 30 Ghz is still some cash (maybe put some help on the line for exemple).

Best Regards, and please don´t shoot me just because i refer this ideas...

I know that, but i was talking about a residual ammount of hashpower  (10 or 15%), to be kept to try to give us some extra cash in the side!
Bigger Risks, Bigger Rewards...

Well you didn't try reading and researching why this happens, so it's not safe to assume too much.

The amount of repeat questions by people who don't know what's involved with mining is too damn high.

I noticed my daily avg hashrate had dropped quite a bit, despite being steady +/- 100-200 khash for over a week. Is this why? Sorry, this is a hobby for me I don't particularly check my miners much.. ever.. so long as they're on and running according to will's page lol. I use the USEast not EU stratum though..
