Hello! I could, but you will need to show me that it is popular/going to be popular (So that I don't end up with a category with only 2 rigs in it) I am really unable to follow the altcoins new lately!

This is not aimed at anyone in particular, but i find it amazing how many people host their rig in a datacentre, apparently so anyway. Is that what we're calling our garage now then? Unless you work somewhere that already has rackspace going spare, a hosted solution in a REAL datacentre would mean that you no longer really make any profit from your rigs, unless you have somehow found an EXTREMELY cheap sub-let option. Plus what kind of datacentre would let a big, exposed thing like our typical miner rig is, sit in a rackspace? Hardly any... you would usually be forced to keep non-rackable hardware in one of the cages/suites, which cost even more. I work in IT, and i've done plenty of installs in datacentres around Europe, so unless it's very different in the US then i'm having a hard time buying most of these claims. I mean, oh really, you have your 750KH 'rig' in a professionally manned datacentre and pay for the rental of the space, for that!? Come on now... Also, my buddy rented a rig the other day that went offline 10% in to the rental. It said it had "monitoring" also, but it never came back online. I'm starting to doubt a lot of people who claim to have these "pro hosted" services/solutions in place. So buyer beware, look at the feedback more than the fancy words! And for those people using fancy service names like "monitoring", when they actually mean " i have a smoke alarm in my house", or something. If any of you want to stop bullsh*tting your customers and actually set up some free and effective monitoring, check out PRTG Network Monitor. It's free, easy enough to configure (if you can set up a rig, you can do this) and has email alerts, etc. Even if you can't be bothered using all the sensors, a simple 'ping' test once per minute is better than nothing at all. Do everyone a favour and take ~10 minutes for installed something like this, everyone benefits (especially your feedback)! It's not like i'm asking you to configure Nagios or Zabbix, that would be more cruel.

May I suggest a local time setting? It would be easier to manage things at first glance. +/- n hours.

Hi, I currently have a renter that is using a bad pool. I have messaged him 4 times and he hasn't responded. You - February 23, 2014 02:04 You may want to consider either adjusting your pool settings or trying a different pool as your current pool is requesting a worker restart every second on both miners. You - February 23, 2014 02:13 You are currently not mining anything. Please ensure you are trying to mine a scrypt coin and not Max coin or Vert/Panda coin. Please see screenshot. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72745877/Mining/blachta-message.jpg You - February 23, 2014 02:26 The pool you are using is NOT working. Please change pools or your rental period for 6 hours will be wasted. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72745877/Mining/blachta-message1.jpg You - February 23, 2014 02:49 You have just wasted 1 hour of ~3.3M/hashing on your chosen pool. Please consider changing pools as you are just wasting hashing power. What else can I do? TIA.

It will show that until rented or until the renter has valid credentials for their pool

Mux, Wondering if we can increase the limit of speed you can put in for rigs. I want to list my 33.6Gh, but it only allows me to go up to 30Gh, so it looks like my pricing is higher than it actually is. I wonder why we have a maximum, as a renter would know shortly into their rental whether or not the advertised hashrate is what they are getting. Thanks! http://www.betarigs.com/rig/916

Why? You do not understand something? Yes, I don't understand how people just ask for something without explaining the reasons for their requests...

An idea on implementing backup pools for renters.
let the rig owner put two pools in his command line that point to betarigs. if the renter sets up a backup pool then the second pool will point to that, if he neglects, it could just point to his primary pool, or a pool set by the rig owner.

That can happen if a block hasn't been found for that long. Sometimes it's only a few minutes between blocks on the BTC network... other times it can be up to 40+ minutes... depends on the luck of the miners honestly :]

i'm not sure cause i don't know how the renter web interface on betarigs looks like. maybe someone can answer me. thanks.
No it's not possible and that's the sole reason I haven't been renting from betarigs anymore.

I found it odd that that site doesn't have litecoin fully implemented as an optio nfor payout as well option for payement, especially considering how many scrypt rigs there are. For many miners like myself who are new to crypto, and started mining with GPUs past bitcoin craze and mainly dealing with litecoin, having to get paid in bitcoin then convert it to litecoin ourselves is inconvinient. Not a big deal and doesn't stop me from renting out my rig, but it would be nice if this was something on developer's to do list
