T-Rex 0.26.8 ETHW, ETC (+dual mining) GPU miner

Can anybody help me by telling me where I need to put the --mt command in t-rex? I have a 3080 and a 1080ti and I need the ethenlargementpill but to be honest I dont want to download it. I have had to wipe my computers multiple times because of that thing! What I mean specifically is do I need to run the command like this

t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us2.ethermine.org:4444 -u 0x2D2D29a18ad4deCD382CBcedEFb422FB97f30382  -p x -w --mt 1 rig0
pause

or like this

t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://us2.ethermine.org:4444 --mt 1 -u 0x2D2D29a18ad4deCD382CBcedEFb422FB97f30382  -p x -w rig0
pause

or what is the correct way to give my 1080ti the --mt (it is gpu1 in case that information is vital)

You can set --mt at every place - but your first one will not work with -w --mt 1 rig0 
I prefer to set such things at the end of the commandline

The RTX3080 will ignore --mt 1 in every case.

I'm getting an odd error with v20.4 where one GTX1080 card is randomly reporting 2-10 GH to the mining pool and requires a reboot to report and display (on the miner console) the correct hashrate of about 34-38MH. The reported values show in the console as well so it's not a reporting glitch. I also get a couple invalid shares so it seem like overcloking instability, but I get the same reaction with or without overclocks on. Odd thing is this started this week, the miners was stable ealier on 20.4.
When the reporting goes haywire all the stats of the card look fine in GPUZ, real world hashrate drops to about half because of invalid shares. This is without overclocks and the GPU at 44c and memory has additional cooling and below 60c externally. GPUZ doesn't report memory internal temps on 10xx cards.

Anyone else having these oddities?

Could be the card is on it's way out. It's been much more stable with the newest version, so that was an improvement. I know about the known issues in prior versions.
I'll try the low-load mode to see if there is any difference. The odd thing is 20.4 was stable with a good overclock for a week and the temps are well under control. Prior versions were crashing every 1-3 days.

same here , High CPU usage 37.6% !

using latest NVIDIA driver 471.11 and Win 11,  [turning off --validate-shares or --cpu-priority 1] dose not help in my case., is there any other solution ?
 

I am having problem with one of miners. It is W10 1903, 2x1070 Nvidia with latest drivers. Cpu usage is locked on 100% on miner I downloaded today latest miner for rvn fork ..

For comparison of cpu usage, Driver 436.02 vs Driver 430.64 took a few days to identify that new drivers were overloading cpu.

I ran 2 x 3080 on minerstat
set absolute core clock at 1060 , memclock +1200 the galax is working fine but my MSI gaming Z Trio doesnt seem to lock the core clock . any advice?

there is other software with 1.25% or 1.50% that works fine.

in version 21.2 there are very few errors, this is probably a normal state

What the hell is wrong with fan control on pascals? It would spin fans to 90%+ for quite some time before settle down. No such thing was on 0.20.4 version when i mined MTP, now I found out u can mine EGRO and tried latest version and got this.... Well, eventually it got ok, but at some point fan control got cards 10C° below tt.

PS oh, and T-rex is more power consuming than NBminer a little bit. Reported h\r is the same.

PSS after 40minutes it does not look good on the pools side, it's like 50% of h\r I had with NBminer. I'll mine for at least 3 hours with 1 rig though just to be sure...

It's a known problem that only occurs when mining on nanopool, we're looking into it. Mining on other pools is unaffected.

I would like to request a feature which would enable me to schedule times when a miner has to pause and take a break and when to resume work. PhoenixMiner offers something like this with its 'pauseAt' and 'resumeAt' arguments. Since mining hardware is running 24/7 it would be nice to let it rest and cool down every once in a while.

P.S. I am aware that Windows users can setup a scheduled task that would send requests to HTTP API http://127.0.0.1:4067/control?pause=true and http://127.0.0.1:4067/control?pause=fals, but still it would be nice to have that build into a miner.
