Bloody West Ham giving me more hope than I should have right now. I know I said that I expect City to drop points in the last two games, but now its actually happened, I'm starting to believe again, which usually sets you up for disappointment, especially when I look at that Spurs game, and how we should've probably won it with better finishing.
I actually think Aston Villa can get a point from that game. They will need to be up for it in defense, but I know they'll get their chances. I'd love to see Coutinho, and Ings lighting up City, but a draw will do. Then it's entirely in our hands with our game in hand. We win the next two games, and City drops points. It might be a historic year, not just for Liverpool, but for any English club. Quadruple is still on, and I can't believe it after that Spurs result, and how City basically went on a goal fest.
Everton look to be surviving despite the result yesterday. Leeds have got Brentford next which is a must win, not sure they will though. Even then, Everton have two games to get something from. Burnley have probably the hardest fixtures left, so unless something crazy went on, I'd see Everton surviving. They did kick into gear the last few games though, so they probably do deserve it, I'll give them that.

Well actually the fun thing about the next game of City vs Aston Villa is that, thats Gerrard's team right now. Imagine that somehow Gerrard win the next game against City which leads to Liverpool winning the EPL, that would have been historic for Liverpool. A living legend of Liverpool has the chance of helping his former club win the EPL, well it would be hard for Villa to actually win in an away game against City

not sure, but I think that Palace is a key match for Everton, looking at last match with Arsenal, I do not see a chance there nevertheless, win over Palace has to come Leeds beating Brentford will be surprise few rounds ago, but in the last round, I expect a win from Leeds Burnley can take points against Villa, and last round should be a win over Newcastle, I can see them staying in the league prior to Leeds

True all that but Saints are out of form and playing for nothing. I believe that no matter what line up Liverpool uses they will have more then enough quality to win that game. Arsenal starting in 15 minutes against very good Newcastle side. This is must win for them since Spurs are piling up the pressure. Should be a good game with couple of goals in it. My bet is on both to score @1.8.

I think that Premier league is the only league in the world, where there is no playing for nothing look at last round, Brighton and Brentford do not have much to play for, and they gave hard time to both Leeds and Everton, which would be much different in all other leagues, do not want to mention Calcio or La Liga, but even there nevertheless, Saints are down, and I do not expect much from them, but they will not surrender before the start

Calcio still gets odds @2 for draws in last game week when draw is good enough for both sides. There are never odds like that for draws in PL.

We might be making the mistake of overlooking it. However, our team should be able to beat them without those players. The biggest loss for this game being Fabinho to stop the counter attacks. VVD probably isn't needed, and having Matip, and Konate is pretty damn good back up cover. Meanwhile, Salah hasn't been at his best, and quite frankly I believe we may have been playing better without him on the pitch recently, which is a little crazy to say. Maybe, not better, but at times he has tried to do too much, which just ends up causing frustration. I'm probably as confident as I can get against Southampton. Although, I'm worried about Romeu potentially injuring our players. I just want a clean bill of health going into that Champions League final. Salah, and VVD should be back, as they were small knocks according to what I was reading earlier.

I mean losing to Tottenham seem quite understandable, but getting outplayed by Newcastle in a much needed win is something I don't understand. Now they'll need to depend on Tottenham to lose an already relegated Norwich while they'd need to win against a highly desperate Everton in the last game ? what are the chances ? I'd say none!

some things are just hard to get out of Arsenal. whenever it matters, they fall apart and lose the matches they would otherwise always win. it happens to them every season, despite changing managers and bringing expensive players. in the finish, they entered with the best chances to be in the top 4, but they did themselves the biggest harm.

I personally think that they'll do well against The Saints and there is a glimmer of hope for them to get to the top so I doubt that they are going to lose either way. Aside from that Southampton only won once over the last 10 EPL games so I guess it should be another 3 points for Liverpool unless they pretty much screw this one up Now they'll need to depend on Tottenham to lose an already relegated Norwich
Good chances for Son to score few more goals to outlead Salah

Truly incredible how Arsenal let go of an almost consummated chance to enter the UCL. Now they have to wait for Totenham to lose in order for them to have a chance. We are all waiting to see what Newcastle's big signings are in the coming season.

Good chances for Son to score few more goals to outlead Salah I really for a while thought Harry Kane would allow/offer Son to take the penalty against Burnley, but I understand that there's more at stake for team/club as a whole than Son winning the golden boot, and with Salah not available for the clash against Southampton and probably the last game too, Son chances is looks good.

Newcastle, did not need a single point for anything and they went and beat one of the UCL fighting teams. Spurs must be jumping with joy at this, I think this 4th place has been trading hands like so many times now but the momentum is with the white side of London. The funny thing with Newcastle too is that Eddie Howe will get all the plaudits for this, while when they lose, the news always talks about rebuilding and owners and club plans. I mean, I think he's a great manager but look at the team they have and they should actually be winning more. St Maximin they should protect too he is almost never 100% fit even on replays I see him play like he is shutting out the pain.

The Premier League is full of surprises as always and I too was surprised by Arsenal not winning but the fact is that maybe they took it easily.Tottenham from my point of view is the team that deserves the least to enter the Champions League based on how unstable they are but if they earn it,they deserve it then, that is the beauty of football.Unfortunately this ends this month and we have to wait until August for other great action.

Speaking of surprises, despite Liverpool being quite dominating, Southampton have just a taken an early lead against Liverpool, and I hope it doesn't become too hard for them to overturn this, because anything less than a win here would confirm City as the league winners. No Salah or Mane, with Diaz on the bench too, means Liverpool are shot of their main attacking threats but would Firmino and Jota be able to save the day ? Liverpool to win is now @ 2.10, fair deal ?

For sure fair deal Harko! I'd have taken it right away, Saints haven't had any attempts other than that one. What to do, eh? A bit annoying Gomez plays and then injures himself, so poor Hendo still gotta play 2nd half now. Mina's cool, so's Bobby, just not quite sure our midfield of Elliot and Jones are really incisive. Realising more and more Jones loves to try, and Elliott isn't seeing much of the ball.
We'll still win from the bench if need be...
Speaking of fair deals: Villa @18/1 I've taken it. Sweet boost from Sportsbet.

Newcastle is team in the top form and they know there will be a lot of new players next season. They are playing out of their skins to show they still deserve a place in new Newcastle. On the other hand Southampton looks like their players are on holidays for some time now. True that both teams have nothing to play for when looking at PL table but they have very different form and mentality at the moment.

could be, but does not seem likely City lost points against West Ham, but last match of the season and they need a win, should be manageable, difference between them and Villa is huge nevertheless, my eyes are on the bottom part and Villa playing Burnley tomorrow, since Everton is playing Palace, win is enough to avoid relegation, but our play is shit this whole year
