Oh no doubt.. KNC's batch 1 shipment will bring around 2-3PH, batch 2 will be even more. The multi-algo systems will be exciting whenever they hit. And KNC is looking to double their SHA power. Bitcoin will be mined out hahaha.
I only mentioned the business because the coin is white noise without it. Why mine GPUC at that point? Why even revive it honestly? Let it die. Better coins out there to revive and mine.
Well that point could be easily carried towards anything that is not bitcoin. All altcoins are whitenoise when compared to bitcoin, why do people mine dogecoin, litecoin, vertcoin, maxcoin? The only difference is perceived profitability. But I do not agree that it is dead, it's been 2 months. I know that this market moves at the speed of moores law but people in this market call a coin dead a week after it launches giving it absolutely no breathing room to even find its price. What I see in this market are immature "investors" who don't understand how investing works. All I know is that even at 1 satoshi gpucoin is still turning a profit for me. I spend 4 dollars a month (2 750 Ti cards) on my mining expenditure and the coin is mined at a 1000% profit. So that is the reason to mine the coin, I may not have a lot of hash power but the profit margin is still undeniable, and any amount of profit is in the long run a good gain.

Could there be any chances for partnership with Pawncoin, both are business oriented coins. What's the exact business plan of GPUCoin? Is there any existing contract with GPU supplier that can be easily transfer to new ownership. Thanks

Meh.. not about the lost BTC on my side, but i did put effort into making this coin.. So I'll keep it alive on the technical side. And try to do some juxtaposition with some of the newer projects i'm working on. I don't have a commitment level higher than that of "hobby level" though.. If someone else wants to make a new thread at least with updated info, that would be cool.

All that being said I'm still sitting on my coins until the asics come out and the gpu farms switch to scrypt-n, because there is a possibility of a revival in diff and hash power, increasing value. I also still believe You mean when they hit bigger and more spread out than they are now? By the end of the year, scrypt-n asic will be the next best thing. This coin, in its technical function, works well. It's working great right now. But nobody needs it because the business is dead. Doesn't look like its going to take that long. Lastest update from Flower Tech is their upcoming ASICs will also do Scrypt N.

Flower Tech is an empty box that will disappear before shipping http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1y9hbc/brock_flower_technology_scam/The point of Scrypt N is that every year the factor will become bigger, so if an ASIC has been developed for a specific factor, then it doesn't work anymore. oh i know , thank you

So - guess the DEV is dead - but we could revive this coin by privately selling hardware with GPUC - i got (all used) 3 290 reference design, 6 270x (3 his iceQ, 3 sapphire dual-x) and 3 750ti (with 1 6 pin) in Germany (so EU buyers only)- if anyone is interested - pm me.
Working with the current Poloniex rate vs btc into usd - we could just all use straight btc though but hey, that would be boring xD

Yeah FlowerTech, I wouldn't trust. My focus is on KNC for absolute speed and efficiency. Their first batch of scrypt should deliver around 2-3PH, the majority I'm betting will hit litecoin. There are others delivering right now, but when KNC hits--if they deliver like before--it's going to be game over for the majority of home miners. I know there are Scrypt-N specific ASIC in the works, and I know there are multi-algo ASIC in the works. Regarding the specs of Scypt-N, who knows, but hella more than most people think. If you consider 300-500MH is going to be entry level Scrypt for KNC, just figure 150-250.

I don't think so for a variety of reasons the biggest being there will other coins that asics will not be able to mine. X11 and hefty just to name 2.

Then ASIC can mine it, it just has to be designed. Like I said, there's 2 companies working on multi-algo ASIC right now, implementing all currently-used mining algos. And my game-over comment was for LTC miners, as I predict most of the heavy machines will go to that.

I have my toxic still on sale at ebay. (and I really hope it is not used as the box was not sealed and clearly had been opened.) If it does not sell I can 'maybe' sell it for GPUCoin, depending on how serious the community is to fix this coin.
