GMiner v2.52 available for download

v2.52
+ core voltage support for Nvidia GPUs (--cvddc in %)
+ ability to lock voltage point (--lock_voltage), helps reduce power consumption
+ option to disable P2 state (--p2state 0)
+ fixed bug with invalid shares display in Web UI

Ethash fee is 0.65%
KAWPOW fee is 1%

Thanks for the voltage settings for Nvidia GPU´s. I use fixed voltage for Nvidia cards over 2 years now. Hashrates is more stable, power consumption is more stable. I hope that more people use fixed voltage for Nvidia in the future.

what is the argument for --lock_voltage? value in mV, V, per card? 0 or 1 for just on off?

Hello, can someone explain to me, also it is not just with this miner, it is with all the miners...here's the problem..
When i try to run as administrator (right click, run as administrator) , it is always the same error no matter what miner it is, in this case it is this error
miner.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command

some other miner "bla bla".exe is not recognized as an internal or external command ...it is all the same error with every miner when i try to run as administrator. What's the problem here? how can i fix this? Because i cant run some commands, that need administrator privilages.

I was thinkg about removing the antivirus, im using avira free....but, the process annoying...and i would like to know if that is the solution for sure by removing the antivirus, i will remove it with another one....
so pls. help, plssss.

If you running with admin rights, windows look into windows/system32 folder for the miner.exe, you must not only miner.exe you need to define the whole path of the miner.exe

example:

"C:\mining\gminer\miner.exe" .....

after that you set your normal commands

Or second way:
right click on miner.exe -> properties -> compatibility -> set running with admin rights

There is no workaround it is a hardware bug. Every Nvidia pascal gpu (except the 1070ti this is the only pascal gpu without this bug) have this problem. Speed beginn to decrease if the dag is over 2GB.
Raise your core to get more hashrate on eth, but it needs more electricity.

Here the an statemant of an nvidia moderator:

We’ve confirmed that the performance drop is due to the size of the DAG exceeding the total on-chip TLB capacity on the Pascal GPU. As a result, there is an increased number of TLB misses, which affects performance. Because the TLB is a fixed capacity hardware resource, and the ETH algorithm accesses the DAG randomly, we don’t believe there are any software optimizations that could reduce the TLB miss rate.

In the Volta generation, TLB coverage was increased by 4x, and large DAG sizes (up to ~8GB, which won’t be reached for many years) will still fit in the on-chip TLB. So these newer GPUs (Volta and beyond) will show much less performance sensitivity due to DAG size.

GMiner v1.01 is now available for download.

Download links:
Linux x64
Windows x64

Thanks for these links, I bookmarked them.

Why they are depriczted.  Those versions are ancient and Gminer uses github....

Use the first post and follow those links.  Dont be posting links to the devs work..let thedev do that.

Posting links of versions in an active dev thread makes everyone wonder if your posting malware.  Dont be that guy.  And your message is really odd...linking old github site.  I know its still out there...but your acrivitely seems verys suspicious.  Im sure your aware of the malware link problem around here.  Dont be that guy.

When I look at the difference between TREX and GMINER, we lose some MHS but I wonder is this a fake hashrate from TREX? or GMINER is not yet fully optimized for NVIDIA 3xxx series?

Possible to release an optimized version for our RTX 3xxx?

WILL VERTHASH BE ADDED?--

I tried mining UbqHash.  VertHash is more profitable and requires only a 2GB GPU.  With the GPU market being sold out, my older GPUs need a good AltCoin and VTC fits the bill.

Your miner is reliable and runs well.  I'd like to see VTC added, and with the same reliability and control that Gminer already offers.

Please add VTC mining capability.       --scryptr
