miner reset hash rate counters if GPU stopped (for example reached temperature limit) or you change OC settings(miner print message about this).
in your case miner print "steady state" hashrates, it should fit pool hashrate (you have to subtract devfee).

can this setting be made an option?

I cannot run GMiner from inside AwesomeMiner, the GMiner quits with an error "Anti-hacking system detected modification of the miner memory. If you using an antivirus, add miner to antivirus exceptions". Adding the gminer folder to antivirus exceptions does not help. Also if I go to the gminer folder that awesomeminer uses (C:\Users\George\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\gminer_1_73_windows64_2) and start gminer manually, everything works fine. How can I make it work from inside AwesomeMiner?

Friend, do not pay attention to the antivirus, there are no viruses or trojans in this miner. Add it to the exceptions and do not worry. But this is only in this miner, but in less well-known miners there can be anything. Nevertheless, vigilance does not hurt.

Add everything inside this folder to the Antivirus/Firewall-Exception and it will work from your AwesomeMiner:

C:\Users\George\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\

Some Tools needs it in this format:

C:\Users\George\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\*.*

Also add C:\Users\George\AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMiner\ (or with *.*) to your exception list if this folder IS NOT empty.
Same with C:\ProgramData\AwesomeMinerService\ (or with *.*).

Did you try to debug or use the "diagnose" if you already have a profile set up under awesomeminer try to use the diagnose tool just right-click the profile then diagnose?

It will show what error of your miner. Just paste here so that we can find the issue.

And as suggested above maybe you put the wrong path of awesomeminer or just disable the anti-virus and run the miner again.

Why don't you just use awesomeminer they automatically download the resources of gminer which I think you won't get an error when you use their own resources or maybe you set the awesomeminer incorrectly?
You should go directly from their official thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.0 and ask for developers help.

Increase the virtual memory/ page file in Windows by 10GB and check again.
I hope it's not the VGA that is out of the memory which will mean you'll have to use any Linux distribution as Windows tends to reserve some space in VGA memory.
People mining ETH are also facing this issue with Nvidia cards.

Your memory should be enough for the miner to work properly. Maybe this is just a miner mistake that the developers will fix soon. I used to have a problem with lack of RAM on windows 10, I installed windows 7 and it worked.

Did you just set it without rebooting the rig?

If not try to reboot the rig first to make it work.

If still doesn't work can you share your bat file setup so that we can check if your settings are wrong?
