I've never achieved 750Ghs at Power Level 4 nor approached 1Ths.

wonder why?

what do you power gear with?
did you ever point it to solo.ckpool.org?

I have
overkill psu
overkill cpu win 10 build
and point to solo.ckpool which is asic boost.

have you ever tried solo.ckpool to see if you get higher numbers ?

I also wonder if win 7 build hurts you.

i was not able to get good numbers until i went to a win 10 build on a quality pc.

It's powered with a Seasonic 650W 80 Plus Titanium P/S. I tried ck's solo early on and it got the same results as Kano and both show 12+ so ASIC Boost is enabled. My PC is setup for gaming so it has a Quad Core I-7 w/16GB RAM so it should be powerful enough. The only other USB devices now are the mouse and keyboard. It seems the Pi and the PC have roughly the same performance.

Thanks for the feedback of (9e51f0b) vs (a62385f).

Current tally:

Better for:
    cliftonk : WIN10 Ubuntu18
    DieselWeaseI : Ubuntu18 (Odroid N2)

Worse for:
    WilcoWi : WIN 10
    os2sam : WIN7 & RPi3
    lrowland21093 : PiZero

Just a reminder too that it's not done tuning until T: & P: are the same value (or within a few MHz). I may have slowed down the upper end too much to keep it from hitting plateau too hard.

@vh I don't run Windows, my data point is Linux (Ubuntu 18.04)

@os2sam just another data point. With the new build (8e62f0b)
On my Ubuntu 18.04 low power celeron 1.83GHz x 4 box:
my R606 at voltage level 4 and 575 MHz
I am seeing 780 GH/s right now connected to ViaBTC.

The previous build would not get all three GSI units up to 575.  I would see something like 568/568/568 ...

Very happy with the new build on linux anyway.  Can't speak about Windows performance.

Also, on the Ubuntu box I do have to run with --gekko-lowboost , leaving off that option will cause all GSI units to eventually go offline.

T = Target and P= Plateau, correct?

This is what mine is saying now at Power Level 7:

Code:
0: GSI 10040033: BM1387:12+ 668.75MHz T:669 P:663 (12:5)  | 94.9% WU:^89% | 872.4G / 818.1Gh/s WU:11429.3/m

I do have Ubuntu 18.04 on my gaming laptop.  After tinkering around with the Pi I feel more confident with the Linux setup.  So I may give that a whirl as well, as a test.

Likewise, I reloaded my Linux box to Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa  Mate 64bit edition.  Took a bit to get xvnc to work properly in order to remote into it.  But holding strong on volt 5, at 725 Mhz averaging at 973Gh/s per unit.   I have one that is being a little troublesome that requires a little more testing.  Believing to be a weaker chip possibly in the unit.  As at this Mhz and volt setting, one of them eventually will drop on the work % from 100% down to the mid 80s and then status changes to DEAD.  I do not believe it's thermal related as I have plenty of additional fans on the unit with a push/pull setup and room temp of 74 degree's F.  May have to either lower the settings or give the --gekko-lowboost a try.  As I had forgotten about the low boost option.

If you're hitting 725MHz on volt 5, it's a freakin' fantastic unit. A "weak chip" situation would mean you'd need volt 5 just to hit 600MHz. Remember, stock freq on an S9 (with the same chips) is only 650MHz.

Awesome, then I'm good  Grin   One unit will eventually settle down to 675 - 700 after 48 hours running however the 2nd one remained at 725.  I have since added additional cooling and at time of posting, one is hashing average 975Gh/s and the 2nd is 944Gh/s.   Very happy miner here as they have far exceeded what I was looking for.   And well, happy wife since they are very quiet.  I measured the db on the units and was hitting around 26...which was coming from my additional fans, not the units themselves Cheesy  Wife would have killed me picking up a S9.

Also passing on some knowledge that was given to me.  On your .sh scripts, add the following:

Code:
while [ 1 ]; do
    ./cgminer -o ....
    sleep 5
done

If cgminer stops for any reason, this will wait 5 seconds and then restart the script.  Just basically puts it into a loop.  Since the last 2 updates I haven't really noticed it restarting, at least not like it was before the May updates.   But at least this will kick them back off instead of remaining offline until you physically get back on the system to restart the script.

My data point is 700, 705, and 710 MHz on three R606s using Raspi Zero at voltage level 7 giving total 2.6TH on average after about 5 days running on build a62385f.
Still pleasantly shocked that Pi Zero can handle this!

I'm going to download the latest build tonight and start a new run to see the difference.

Gonna give it another try, cause maybe it needed more time. So just started new version and give it 8h to prove it selve. (off to work in few minutes). @end of day i'll check again and see what average of the 5 sticks was.

in previous version average is @ 595 Mhz. So i'll report back @ end of day.

I'm a noob here.  Can I be added to this drawing if it's not too late? I bought a R606 from 419mining. Does that count?

I can send you proof if needed.

I put you in.

We are at eight.

I will do this drawing in about 5 or 6 hours.

I only need proof if you win. And of course a shipping address.

There will be more drawings. If you win a stick you are not eligible to win a second.
If you don’t win you go into next drawing.

These are the original compacs with one s7 chip.  Edit maybe the s5 chip.

Wife has me running errands so drawing will be at 8 or 9 pm this evening.

Um perhaps sidehack needs to verify but I do believe the original Compac uses the BM1384 chip which is from the s5's. (I sent him a pallet of s5's to strip for them).

Yep, S5 chips. I had a prototype S7 stick but since chip harvesting is a pain and the footprint was impossibly evil and I didn't have a crack driver guy on board yet it never went anywhere. That was actually pre-2Pac.

Just wanted to give an update to my mobile miner setup (I'll post pics of the little space heater later).

I went with an Odroid N2 with 4GB RAM that I'm going to use for running some core wallets for staking and to run my miners.

I'm now getting 1.050 Th/s at a full 775MHz on voltage setting 7 for the past 4 hours. WU has been settling in around 99%, which has me much happier than when I was trying my pi and it kept autotuning down and couldn't be turned up more than 588MHz.

Setup is HP1200 power supply, R606 miner, Odroid N2 SBC running Ubuntu MATE 18.04 on an EMMC and powered by a 12V 2A power supply. The Odroid is connected to wifi using a USB wifi adapter and I'm running the current cgminer that I installed today.
