To be honest, I am really not a fan of these types of things because I think there are a lot of other countries who are trying to do better in cricket rather than the USA.

So, if you want to give a country a chance to progress in cricket by letting them host the t20 world cup I think it should be some other teams like Ireland or any other team.

West Indies is okay but even Sri Lanka could use some of that exposure right now because the cricket in Sri Lanka doesn't look too good at the moment.

But obviously, there comes a problem of the region in that place. Obviously, West Indies and Sri Lanka cannot host a tournament at the same time but I think people get the idea of what I am trying to say.

I think it was a non sense idea to propose such tournament, keeping in view the current India and Pakistan tense situation. Ramiz Raja is also expected to quit as PCB chairman after regime change in Pakistan.

I am also feeling, as you already mention, but right now no one can argument about this because it's already done by ICC and they better know how to do this. I have no idea about the USA and cricket because never read or hear any good thing, but few weeks back I check on espncric that they are managing a cricket league and many stars were also involved in this which is good but still big question is they have cricket stadiums for this mega event, and they can manage things like we need in ICC events.

Their cricket team is already in talk with few subcontinent players, and they beat Ireland few weeks back in an international T20 match which is also good achievements from their side but still it's really not good decision as they need to check proper facilities and all infrastructure before announcing things like this which helps others as well, and they also try to follow.

I am also very excited about this news now after having this confirmed news feeling good because this is good opportunity for many to have their chance for applying to this great country.

If usa is sending team like what uae and Oman  used to send then it will be of no use for the cricket. We need teams that have proper domestic infrastructure since that setup can produce quality players for future. Nepal team is weak but they have domestic setup which will someday start producing quality players provided icc encourage such countries.

Actually, we all know why ICC has done this. This is just because of money and also in my opinion in the USA, the sponsors will get better exposure. That's why I think this decision was taken. Well - USA is very strict about visa policy and most of the cricket fans who love going to the stadium might not be able to go there. Incase anyone is planning to go the states in 2024 they should start filling application now. Because I was trying to get interview date from Nov last year and the first date for interview is in March 2023. Lot of Rush - so be prepared, earlier the better.

Money has been playing a big role in cricketing. As said USA might've found this a great platform for business than winning. Just because of that USA have opted to be the co-host of the 2024 T20 World Cup. USA have been delaying its entry into cricket. Maybe ICC has made the plan to make cricket well known in European countries. There will be more nation's involvement in cricket if they get the success. Previously I heard that a big cricket tournament will be arranged in near future. This plan will get a green light if cricket gets popularity in European countries. So, there is both positive and negative view of this decision. You have highlighted about the negative sides.
