But still I can't surely say that they will be the winner of today's match. I haven't any trust on the SRH team. DD DC is a very good team. They have the ability to win by chasing this target. I guess they are going to win by a good margin, and that is going to help their run rate as well. The scenarios have completely changed. This week was good for the bottom ranking teams, and really bad for some of the top ranking teams such as DC and MI. Earlier I was thinking that teams such as DC and MI are almost assured of playoff qualification. Even if they lose some of their matches, it won't affect their chances. But the problem is that they lost those matches, and they lost them by huge margins (yesterday DC went down by 88 runs).

If you tell that SRH have a chance to play in the playoff, then I would say that RR have the same possibility of playing in the playoff. Because RR's next 2 matches are against KKR and KXIP. If they will win this two matches then they will advance to play the playoff.
On the other hand, SRH's next 2 match are against RCB and MI. Both teams are playing great. Andh they are on the top of the point table. It will not be easy to win  them.

I guess today someone between MI vs RCB will be confirmed to take a spot in the playoffs, probably in top 2. All the remaining matches will be much interesting than playoffs because results of one match will impact the chamces of getting into playoffs for other teams.CSK is the only team out of the playoffs but they can beat two team out as well if they win both.

With a lot of teams likely to end up on 14-points each, the run rate can be very important. All they need to do is to win the remaining two matches.

But it also depends on Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders performance. If they also can win their rest of the matches SHR will have no chance to get into qualifier round due to less points. MI bowling attack made a good comeback in their middle and death overs by taking wickets at the right time.MI has a great batting line up and deep as well so RCB need to take more wickets in the regular intervals if they want to win this game and finish in the top 2 of the IPL 2020 points table.

I agree with you. If RCB wants to win today's match, they have to do their best bowling today. Otherwise, MI can win today's match with a little afford. 165 is not a big target for a good team like MI.
