I agree with you. If RCB wants to win today's match, they have to do their best bowling today. Otherwise, MI can win today's match with a little afford. 165 is not a big target for a good team like MI.

Match is on interesting mode as MI require 48 in 5 overs. If MI loses 1-2 wickets, then it would be more interesting else Pandya and Suryakumar are on crease and can easily chase down this target. Surya has completed his half century. Also, it is battle for 1st spot as well as if RCB wins it they move to 1st in ranking.

I agree with you. If RCB wants to win today's match, they have to do their best bowling today. Otherwise, MI can win today's match with a little afford. 165 is not a big target for a good team like MI.

If RCB wants to secure their wins then wicket could be game changing moment of this low run chess. MI needs only 8+ runs of every overs to win the match, not a big deal for them if they continue current strike rate. At early MI have been struggling by giving unwanted wickets.

It still looks like 50/50 and can go either way. 17th over, which is being bowled by Chris Morris is making the difference. Both Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya are struggling to score runs against him. 31 runs needed off 19 balls, and this can get very tight. A lot will depend on who is going to bowl the remaining three overs. Steyn needs to bowl at least one, and he was disappointing earlier.

But the problem is that they lost those matches, and they lost them by huge margins (yesterday DC went down by 88 runs).

The net run rate will be a huge factor as all the bottom ranked teams started winning and there is even a possibility that DC would not get a spot at the semi finals if they loose matches again and the bottom teams could win every match. The situation is that CSK is completely out of the tournament and the teams like KKR, Punjab and even SRH have a chance to get the spot.

It is because MI have the bowlers to restrict them  . RCB fell short of 15 to 20 runs and if they were able to score according to the start they got they could have won the match.

The difference here was that RCB has the worst bowling line up while MI has the batting dept even with the absence of Rohit Sharma and anything around 8.2 run rate is achievable for MI with the bowlers RCB had.

Tomorrow Kolkata Knight Riders needs to win the match against Chennai Super Kings if they want to qualify. I hope KKR will bring back Andre Russel back in the team.

No doubt today's match is very important for KKR in order to get back to the top 4 for CSK there is nothing to lose as they are already out of the tournament.

The Win probability for CSK is 45% and for KKR is 65% but CSK can destroy the dream of KKR reaching the top 4, KKR lost to KXIP in the last match and CSK won their last match with RCB.

Today's match will be an interesting match to watch.

KKR has tough chance to make it to playoffs even if they win their remaining two matches, and they still don't find their right combination with few injuries as well. KKR start the match with scoring 4 runs in first ball and 3 fours in first over. It's really a good start by Gill. Don't know how much time they can keep this. But since this a do or die match for KKR hope they will try to something better today. On the other hand CSK has no chance to go playoff. Officially no team has been selected yet for playoffs, it shows how close the teams are playing year by year.KKR is looking good at the moment but they need to take wickets of CSK if they want to win this match. At the end of the game CSK has able to win the match by the help of Jadeja. He played a good game in the last two overs where CSK needed 30 runs in 12 balls.
Now it’s bonus point for KXIP. And it’s help to increase the chance of KXIP to go to playoff round. But it also depends on KXIP next two matches performance

CSK could've started this performance before few matches. I think now CSK will stand as a deciding team for playoff. CSK has got one more match, and that's against KXIP. For them two matches are left, one is against CSK. If the two matches were won it easily enters playoff, if not it'll be into pressure because SRH still have two games and if it wins there will be close call to enter playoff.
