Choosing between France, Germany and Portugal is difficult, even Hungary could make a surprise in some matches imo.
France is the best team in group F tho. Second place will be harder to pick and Hungary's games will be essential to determine the ranking.
I'd like to choose France and Germany in this group. However, France has their own issues. Pogba, Griezman don't have good performances in the past season and they can not simply rely on Kante or Benzema. That's why we saw Benzema back to the French team. Deschamps is aware about Griezmann inconsistency and having Benzema as striker playing with Mbappe or Dembele will make the attack line more dangerous and harder to control by the other team.

friendly game:
Italy 4 - 0 Czech republic
Is a very positive result for italy even though it's a friendly game
Thats a very positive and good result for Italy and 4 scored goals against Czech republic is a sign. No teams should be underestimated in this EM , and i guess we will see some surprise results for sure. Hopefully this surprise is not against germany. We will see it after the first games how it goes and where the teams are staying. For me this isnt a surprise, maybe a little bigger result then expected but it was expected from italy to win in this match.Czech Republic maybe trying out some new line ups and testing .While Italy nailed them to the ground and showed some power before the euros After this win against Czech Republic, Italy is without a defeat for 27 games , and they continue to hold steady at the hands of Mancini. When you talk about persuasion, I do not see a team that is more convincing so far than the Italians. There is a distinguished team and excellent performance in every match, and I see them perhaps the most fortunate to dominate the Euro, and although the time is premature, but Italy is the one who lives steadfastly on all Aspects and has all the reasons to be the European champion in this version.

definitely group F is the most difficult group, Portugal and Germany are very strong teams, in this group they have good teams and it will be sad to see some of them not having to move to another stage
Choosing between France, Germany and Portugal is difficult, even Hungary could make a surprise in some matches imo. There are many star players in the France team. France have players like Mbappe, Griezmann, Benzema, Pogba and Rabito. Who are now in extraordinary form. Also, France's goalkeeper is Lloris, he is very experienced and skilled. I think France will win against Germany.
France is the best team in group F tho. Second place will be harder to pick and Hungary's games will be essential to determine the ranking. I really wouldn't count on Hungary, in all honesty but that would be the surprise of the decade in that group. What I think is a very possible outcome: 1. France / 2.Portugal / 3. Germany I know it is tough but Portugal has a relatively strong squad and I am not sure yet whether Germany will manage to be on point for those games. If they are, they can also beat Germany, but they have a new and young team that is not comparable to that from 2014.

Griezmann's inconsistency is a concern but regardless of this, he's very good whenever he is in good form. Whenever he isn't, France still has a backup of good players that would fit right in considering they're one of the best attacking teams in the Euro. I watched that game vs Wales, even though greizman scored a stunning goal, I can tell that he is still not at his top form. I don't think any team in the euro would be able to keep this France attack at bay but we'd have to wait to find out.

Without a doubt, Group F is the best group, and the most balanced. Hungary will not make life easy for the other teams. France will want to "take revenge" on Portugal for the defeat in 2016. Portugal will want to defend their title well, showing that they are still a strong team. Germany will want to show that even with new players they are capable of performing well. I think the group's first journey will be the most important. Not only because it's the beginning of the tournament, but because the defined clashes can harm the campaigns of France or Germany, or both.

They have a lot of star players in their squad. Arranging the squad for Coach Deschamps is very difficult. Although the Germany squad is good, they are not performing as expected. The results of their last few matches are not good. Portugal, on the other hand, are stable, they will advance to the next round if they can beat Germany. My guess is, France and Portugal will be able to go to the next round

Do not underestimate the underdogs in any competition I've learnt to respect teams with zero chances I remember the last Euros the Portuguese were the worse team in the group stage but went on to win the trophy, I don't know why I'm doing this but I'm putting my money on Hungary to qualify from the group stage. I'm confident.

Definitely, the most interesting group, the one on which the general attention will be focused.

That's why we saw Benzema back to the French team. Deschamps is aware about Griezmann inconsistency and having Benzema as striker playing with Mbappe or Dembele will make the attack line more dangerous and harder to control by the other team.
Benzema after the leave of Ronaldo has a right to play as a striker in Real Madrid and he proves that he can be a productive striker as the time he was in Lyon. Dembele has an acceptable season in Barcelona after a terrible start in Nou Camp but in a big tournament, Deschamp can not rely on Mbappe or Dembele or Griezman. Opponents have more researches on Mbappe and Deschamps need a good alternative, it is Benzema.
Griezman is no longer young and his time in France won't last more. This Euro and the next World Cup will be last big tournaments for him in his national team. Good luck to Griezman, France and Benzema as well. I hope Benzema will have a good and memorable return in France squad.

Much has been said and written about it. think there are some countries that have good chances to become champions. Belgium has had a great selection for about 8 years, but so far they have not won anything. The Netherlands has not been there in the last 2 tournaments, they certainly have something to make up for. I'd say it's between Belgium and France. England is not consistent enough in my opinion.

I'm aware that a mediocre team can be a dark horse but it seems for Hungary it's still difficult to qualify. Portugal are the defending champions and so are Germany and France, these three teams have been title holders in this tournament so it is very likely that any of these three teams are guaranteed to qualify. It's hard for Hungary to be the dark horse in this group, only a miracle will bring Hungary to the next round, because if there is no miracle and only rely on the strategy and individual skills of the players, it will still be difficult for Hungary.

Group F [...] Germany will want to show that even with new players they are capable of performing well.
I think Germany will qualify, possibly at the expense of Portugal. Germany often seem to perform better in tournaments than you'd think from their individual players. I know they've been weaker than usual lately, but their history in tournament football means that it's a brave decision to bet against them.

Guys am I watching at the wrong tables or did Hungary make it out as fourth in the qualifier group? They were behind Croatia, Wales and Slovakia. Why did they even qualify as fourth for the final round? Seems I don't understand the system anymore. I thought the first two plus the best third ranked qualify for the final round? Can anybody explain?

friendly game:
Italy 4 - 0 Czech republic
Is a very positive result for italy even though it's a friendly game
Thats a very positive and good result for Italy and 4 scored goals against Czech republic is a sign. No teams should be underestimated in this EM , and i guess we will see some surprise results for sure. Hopefully this surprise is not against germany. We will see it after the first games how it goes and where the teams are staying. As an Italian I can finally says that Italy plays very well and it does so in a way that is almost unknown to others, because it presses without uncovering itself, it waits for the counterattack. But it plays it artfully, all from the front and with a very high quality of execution. So have we already won? Clearly not, but we will fighting until the end and no one will be able to underestimate Italy. These are not considerations about Friday's match, they are notes that conclude a three-year long construction period that represent a wonderful job done by Mancini.

Griezman is no longer young and his time in France won't last more. This Euro and the next World Cup will be last big tournaments for him in his national team. Good luck to Griezman, France and Benzema as well. I hope Benzema will have a good and memorable return in France squad. I believe France seems like a good possibility, plus after they qualify from the group stage they will not face Germany for a while, that is good reason as well, they have amazing players, they have Mbappe, and I believe they will do great this year as well, every year they always do great. England is seen way too good in many places but I do not see it, sure it is England and I am sure they are good but the reality is that I do not see them winning it, don't get me wrong they are good, they just do not look THAT good to me. It is a cup in the end, there is elimination, we will watch each team have like max what 7-8 games? 3 in the group, 1 in last 16, then quarter finals and semi and finals, so basically anything could happen in that much of a short period of time, I would not be shocked if ANY team won, it is not really that weird because in that little amount of games any team could be very good.

That's why we saw Benzema back to the French team. Deschamps is aware about Griezmann inconsistency and having Benzema as striker playing with Mbappe or Dembele will make the attack line more dangerous and harder to control by the other team.

They have a great midfield and supposedly a great but always unfit or unsharp strike force,,, hence relying a lot on guys like Kante and even Giroud remember him? Now Benzema is the new Giroud, old but still reliable and in form. I think french team will be smooth in EURO until knock out.

France is in the hellish group for Euro this year as they have to compete with Germany, Portugal and Hungary. First is a big challenge already for France since they have to face Germany. They have to win it if they want to have smooth way to the knock out stage. Otherwise, it will be a bit harder for them to go further if they lose in the first match.
