Eventually 12,000 English supporters could go to Porto to watch the much awaited Champions League final Manchester City - Chelsea (each club will receive 6,000 tickets for their fans).
At this point, I think it would have been better to have the final in England since all the supporters will need to go through all the necessary covid checks while travelling abroad. Isnt't it a bit stupid?

you didn't say a stupid thing, in fact it is very smart and intelligent
but the problem is that the designated stadium will not see that money, and therefore they will oppose it
if they could find a way to divide the money, as smart people ... anything could be done
I see, eventually, all things in life are driven by one thing only: money. This does not justify the fact that given the current situation going on it would have been much better to move the final to England and avoid a costly and dangerous trip overseas for 12,000 supporters (which is a huge number these days around public events).

because of the Corona pandemic, it really wouldn't have been bad to play the final in England. now thousands of fans are making their way to Portugal.
they could have played the final in Liverpool or in another neutral stadium in England.
it would be cheaper for the fans and there would be 100% less international contacts.
but anyway. the final is set, the venue too and now we can hope that it will be a good and exciting final with hopefully many goals on both sides.

Tuche is a very good coach, no doubt about it. But Guardiola is in charge of Manchester City. Is he less experienced than Tuchel?

Tuchel is a good coach, no doubt, but at the level of experience in the Champions League, Guardiola has more experience.
Although they are practically the same generation of coaches, Guardiola is much more experienced.

If always the coach with the most experience would win, then many teams should not have won the CL the last years. I think the final is completely open. I personally see Chelsea as the favorite. Tuchel has shown in the league game that he can beat Guardiola, and it was not the first time he did. But of course, the CL final will be a completely different game.

It is true that having an experienced coach like Guardiola is more advantageous, because Guardiola already knows what strategy is best to
become champions in the Champions League. But as you say, to become a Champions League champion does not only depend on the experience of
the coach. However, many factors can determine to win the Champions League trophy, although I am optimistic that Man City will be the winner of
the Champions League. It's not that Chelsea doesn't have a chance to win the Champions League. Moreover, Chelsea managed to prove they could
beat Man City in the Premier League. So there could be a surprise in the Champions League final, therefore I can't wait to watch the Champions
League final.

Imossible, IMO. I have made many false predictions in the CL discussion already but I still have no fate in Chelsea will knock down Man city and win the biggest title after many years. Tuchel is a good coach, however, England is the most competitive environment where coaches need at least 2 years to earn good cups.

If you compare the best coaches Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel, I think Guardiola is far superior looking at the history of the club he holds, but the team will be much more important because the team is the driving machine that determines the game.
Guardiola has always been successful and left a good mark at the clubs he worked for, especially at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and I'm not taking anyone's side because I think these two coaches are the best because they can take their clubs to the final.

True. Few months ago, the pandemic situation in England was very different than now with more restrictions imposed. Right now, it is the opposite with the successful vaccination campaign. I find it also absurd to move thousands of people from a country to another unless they were making an experiment Roll Eyes
Anyway I am excited to see City winning vs Chelsea whether the game is played in Porto or Pluto!

This has become a consideration for UEFA and the final is now only attended by 12,000 and of course this is a large number but this is a consequence if the Covid-19 period in Portugal increases then the EUFA will change the new rules how it should be better to avoid Covid but what is it possible for would it be safe if the whole world started to come to the country?

Actually this final was not that memorable because both teams were from PL so I just wanted to see Manchester City win the champions league first.
Porto will be the witness of this final.

Although they are practically the same generation of coaches, Guardiola is much more experienced.
This is Tuchel second champions league final in the last 2 years and Pep's first in the past 7 years + now, this is final and both coaches are here to prove a point so the most important thing right now is how tactical you are and sometimes you need a bit of luck to win the champions league final, in 2012 Bayern was the best team but Chelsea clinched the title at the end of the day.

Chelsea is getting this one.
I don't know if in 2012 Bayern Munich was the best team because even, if I checked it that year even Bayern were only runners up and the title holder that season was Dortmund. But indeed, in that year it could be compared if Bayern were the best compared to Chelsea if the reference was seen from the standings in each league. In this Final I also still want to see the magic of Tuchel but because the opponent is City with coach Pep, I personally feel not sure Tuchel will get the trend as good as before.

The experiment is one of the examples that popped into my mind: you know, they have the opportunity to avoid these people to go overseas and what do they do, they choose yet another city somewhere else. It is either stupid or diabolic, depending on your point of view.
12,000 supportes moving along around the same time will mean having hundreds of hundreds of people amassing on planes, buses, cars, squares etc.

The both teams are eager to win the CL alike, not just City, Chelsea have won it before, just once though, but I'm pretty sure they'll be eager to make it two, Pep has won it twice, but that's a long time ago, Tuchel has never won it, but went as far as the final last season, everyone involved in the final needs this trophy, for pride, bragging right, reputation, to assert dominance etc.

City have dominated English football in the past decade, it's just the CL that has eluded them thus far, quite a lot of people believe that's the reason Pep was signed, he now has the opportunity to beat his chest as the only manager in City's history to have won every major trophy for them, it's going to be an enthralling final on the 29th, but I'm of the opinion that Pep will outwit Tuchel in the end.

Chelsea lost in the FA Cup, and as incredible as it may be, the FA Cup has always been a race full of suppressors. So it is difficult to make comparisons with the results in that cup with other competitions.
Now, it was a final, and they were not able to overcome it.

Tuchel lost one final against PSG. Recently lost another one against Chelsea and this time to Leicester. I think this one will also lose. Especially the opponent of Manchester City. The team is stronger than Leicester and stronger than Bayern. And very eager to win the Champions League.

This is a clash of the giants in terms of their history regarding finals and achievements and failures. Guardiola wants to get rid of the saying that he can only win with Messi, Tuchel wants to make it for the first time but Chelsea is losing steam just now. I would call that bad timing but a final is still a final. For him every game from now on will be a final and he can't even rotate within the team that much or he risks to lose the routine that has been built up within his team.

Hmm I won't call neither of the teams having a giant history but most likely a good recent history but so far City did not won a single international trophy so maybe it's time for that 2012 final when Chelsea had pure luck and a Drogba in monster mood to rotate around City and take the win and the tittle. Also Guardiola really lost ages from his life trying to win the UCL again with both Bayern and now with City so maybe it's time for him as Tuchel proved that he is a future coach that probably will win his title at some point , maybe even now but like I said the odds are with City and Pep.

They can be called as big teams in Premier League and giants in the last two decades. They are not deserved to be called as giants in England if consider all history of that national league, before and during the era of Premier League.

In Champions League, they are not giants. Chelsea have only one title, long time ago and this is the first final match for Manchester City.

With the changes from Pep, reduction of perfection obsession, and less weird choices for his squad in important matches, I think Manchester City can win the final match. They dominated the Premier League and can bring it to the final match. Nevertheless, football is not predictable and it is a beauty of it. Chelsea have their chance to win, even it is small, but they can.

Giants are not! Chelsea was not even considered a big club 20 years ago.
Fortunately, they are clubs that have grown a lot and despite not having a great track record in the competition, they deserve the current place they occupy.

You can say that this was thanks to the money coming from outside. But in football today, you can only be big with money.

Money my dude! Chelsea and City have spent a ton of money for the clubs to even be competitive. Similar cases from both clubs. Early 90's Chelsea werent even top 10 team and later 90's and early 2000's Chelsea became competitive under Gullit, Vialli and then Claudio Ranieri's two was with the overtake of Chelsea by Roman Abramovic as they came 2nd. Chelsea brought in Mourinho and won the league straight away, Twice infact. Both teams are funded by infinite cash with any fair running business cannot compete with. Now, there are fair play rules in place but are they really being put in place? If your answer is yes, City wouldn't even be in champions league this and next season.

Financial Fair Play? This is just theory, because in practice it only affects the smaller clubs in Europe.
The big ones, in addition to UEFA not being able to penalize, always arrange schemes so that this limit is never exceeded.
An example of this is City, Chelsea, PSG, and a few more.

If I get you correctly, then, you can't blame them for being financially able and are using it to actually upgrade there team to be better prepared for the competition. Soccer might be a sport but it is too business and business is about using money to make money so, why should we expect anything different when there is a money price attached?
Of course the financial able would always bank on the cash to get a better chance at the games.
Manchester City spent a lot of cash, won the EPL and are now at the UCL finals for 5he first time. Hope they don't win though, lol. Pep Guardiola has archived so much with this team and his not done with them yet.
