Goalkeeper Courtois was instrumental in Real Madrid winning the match. Moreover, the defender's Nacho and Carvajal played well. The Inter Milan players have made a lot of good attacks. Courtois has successfully saved all of them. I also like the gameplay of young Vinicius and Luka Modrich. However, Real Madrid has played very well against the strong Inter Milan. This is certainly admirable. Coach Ancelotti has done his job well.

I slightly agree with this. Courtois has saved many good attacks. However, the players of Inter Milan have performed better and attacked more than Real Madrid in the entire match. Rodrygo's goal in the 89th minute was excellent. But I expected a little better gameplay from Benzema. I did not like his performance in this match. The team expects more from him in such an important match as he is the only regular scorer of the team with this.

What an insane performance from Manchester City tonight! They finished Leipzig by a huge 6-3 score. Leipzig got a late red card but it was not very affective on the score. Manchester City deserved every inch of this win. And the result didn't surprise me actually as Leipzig were demolished by Bayern Munich 4-1 before this match also. They were already out-of-morale.

Matches like these are the perfect show for football fans, but a nightmare for both teams' coaches. I think it's obvious why this is a nightmare for the losing team, but for the winning team to concede 3 goals in a home game from an opponent considered to be an average team is rather unpleasant. I don't think that after such matches the goalkeeper and the defense of the winners feel completely good.

Another very competitive match of the night was Liverpool v Milan. They have a really great history in this tournament against each other. After so many years, they played against each other and they will play again in San Siro. And we watched a great match which I should admit. Both sides got ahead in the match but Liverpool were the side which won the match 3-2. I still like the performance of each side.

After the matches played yesterday in the Champions League, the scores were revealed. We had a few surprising results. One of them was the draw between Paris SG and Club Brugge. Another was Moldova team Sheriff Tiraspol's 2-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk. The most enjoyable match of the Champions League was undoubtedly the Manchester City-Leipzig match. There were 9 goals in the match and Leipzig's Nkunku scored a hat trick. The excitement will continue with the matches to be played in the European league.

Liverpool - Milan was a really great game, full of good goals and excitement. Liverpool was way better and fully deserved their win but Milan took advantage of the brief moments they had and scored 2 really nice goals.

Regarding PSG - I watched a part of the game later and they were horrible. Poch said that building a team takes time and he is correct but when you play against a team whose whole defence is worth less than Messi's 6-months salary you simply have to show that the individual quality alone can win you the game.

We all have huge expectations from PSG for this season and they will have to show much better performances to still be considered among favorites to win the CL.

However I have to say that the Man United result is a bit of a surprise, but not a huge surprise. It was inevitable that Ronaldo would score, he always does... but Man United have weaknesses, and the signing of Ronaldo does nothing to address them. He's a great goalscorer, but he doesn't contribute much outside that... his general lack of involvement is well known, and will likely be detrimental to Man United as a team. I understand the signing from an emotional standpoint, but logically it makes little sense. I don't think he makes them a better team.

I don't really think that PSG is the strongest Team in the world of football at the moment. Yes, they have an amazing offense with mbappe, neymar and now also messi but 3 huge names do not automatically equal a world class overall team. While i think those 3 players are definitely great and if all of them are in good shape and motivated then every team in the world will get problems, defending them.
Those 3 players will almost do nothing at all to support their own defense though and if you have a team where 3 players are not defending at all, then it is very hard to play successfully against strong teams.

Although Mess-Neymar-Mbappe seemed to be very strong players, they were not very effective. Together they could not adapt themselves. In yesterday's match, I expected a better performance from Neymar. But he was almost inactive. However, this is the first match of these three players together. They need time to stabilize. Messi-Neymar-Mbappe need time to build a strong chemistry so they can connect well. from the statistics that I read on espn, in fact Halland's goal achievement in the champions league is still much better than lionel messi and ronaldo, that's because halland has managed to score a total of 21 goals in the Champions League and amazingly again, Haaland only needed 17 appearances to reach the total these goals, while Lionel Messi was only able to score 6 goals from his first 17 Champions League matches, as well as Ronaldo who didn't even score in his first 17 appearances in the Champions League and this clearly shows that Halland is much better in terms of scoring goals in the champions league compared to ronaldo and messi,

Haaland is really unstoppable now. He scored one goal against Besiktas yesterday also. Dortmund got a nice 2-1 win against them last night. Actually, they would have scored more goals but after making the score 2-0, they tried to secure the win. Besiktas got some chances and finally scored in the extra time. I think this draw is what paris saint German -PSG- needed, I will be relaxed with players like Leonel Messi, mbappe, neymar, de Maria, sergio ramos and all their stars, that I would think am untouchable. Having a very expensive team full of super-stars is a double edged sword and many managers have failed to achieve any success with such teams.The expectations towards Pochetino will be even higher,after PSG signed with Mesi,even though Mesi is getting older and I believe he is far away from his peak form.
Manchester Citi also has a very expensive team,but I don't think that they are going to win the Champions League anytime soon.

PSG only draw is the big surprise for me, they should win at least 4-0.

PSG draw is the biggest surprise for sure and I hope Mbappe will be fine after the injury, but I consider also Sheriff as a surprise too. They got 3 points from Shakhtar after scoring 2 goals to 0!
BTW another minor surprises are the huge number of goals scored by City and Ajax. Leipzig and Sporting fans will be under the shock for some time tho!

Not surprise with PSG although have great tandem as forward with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe failed to give score and win for PSG, just with little club they can't win how come to get champion league trophy? Why write them off like that...This is their first game and the fact that they didn’t lose the game is a good start up for them. I know many people were believing in Paris Saint German to win with many goals but I knew it could be different. There is need for them to blend and find the link ups and fluidity within them. Maybe they will play out well together in the next coming fixtures.

Apart from Tomori's own goal, AC Milan played well against Liverpool. However, Milan seems to have the same problem, Milan lacks anticipation of set pieces so Liverpool are able to take advantage of these weaknesses. The results can be said to be satisfying for me, because this is the first experience for some AC Milan players to play in the UCL. Of course this is can be bad signal for Milan, because they will be playing againts Porto and ATM. both can bring AC Milan to the bottom of standing.

There is nothing surprising about the Barcelona vs Bayern Munich match yesterday. Barcelona is quite weak in many areas of the field both in defense and attack. Barcelona's defeat yesterday was very natural because the composition of the existing players was not able to compete with the Bayern Munich players who looked more complete. Bench Mbappe and PSG could literally win the UCL. Putting those three in the frontlines just doesnt really works out, Mbappe was trying his best to prove that he is much better than Messi by scoring goals that he forgot that he could always choose to pass the ball

It was a silly result but I'd say the red card totally changes the match. If it wasnt for the red card then Manchester United would probably have won that match. Aside from that, the last minute goal came from silly mistake and I think Manchester United have learnt a valuable lesson on not to stop focusing on the game before the match actually ended
