England vs Pakistan, 2nd Test

After winning the toss, England chose to bat first. How often has Captain Babar Azam won the toss? Pakistan made three changes, and England made one change. There has already been a loss in Pakistan's first test match. Injuries to the bowling unit will cause Pakistan to lose again. Despite its fame for fast bowling, Pakistan has not been able to match the fast bowling attack of England in this series of tests. Is Pakistan going to lose again?

England are very difficult to beat in Test format. And the important thing is that England's batsmen are in great form now. And since Pakistan has made a flat pitch, it has become easier for England's batsmen to score runs. I thought the first match would be a draw. But England took risks and played to win or lose. Ben Stokes is very lucky, he was not beaten. England team managed to win the first match despite having a flat pitch.

In today's match, the England team will probably play with the aim of winning. But they stumbled at the beginning of the innings. England lost the wicket of their opener Zak Crawley for just 38 runs. England's run rate is more than 5 today. They should bat a bit more carefully.

Losing a toss isn't a big deal because it is only luck that makes you win the toss. A team should be able to perform well regardless of losing the toss.
Unfortunately, Pakistan again started this match with the disastrous start as England are playing at a very good run rate and made 121 runs in under 20 overs. Though they have lost 2 wickets but the run rate is over 6 runs an over which is very high when you think that this is a test match and not an ODI or T20 match.
If England again made over 400 runs, then we might see another Pakistan collapse in this match too  
There will be added pressure for Pakistan in this match because losing this will means that they will lose the series.

Marnus Labuschagne finally got out for a well made 163, but not before lifting his test batting average to above 60. He is currently the only Australian batsmen with that distinction. Steve Smith for a long time held >60 average, but his recent poor form has seen the stat dipping to somewhere around 54. BTW, just imagine how the South African team would have performed if Marnus was playing for them (he was born there). South Africa's loss turned out to be a huge gain for Australia. Travis Head also got out now, and Australia are at 442/5.

Bad start by England! They have already lost their openers for just 122 runs. I was expecting the same kind of batting by them as they did in the first test match. The pitch in this match is looking good and is not like the first test match. A big game for Pakistan if they do not want to lose this test series. They are scoring at their usual Bazball run rate, so it is a fine approach and those 2 wickets won't matter much as they are scoring nicely.

Joe Root is gone as well but still with their current run rate they could cross 300 runs in no time. Bazball is double edge sword.

The leggie Abrar Ahmed (playing in his very first test match) surprised everyone by picking up all the wickets to fall so far. As of now, he is having figures of 13-0-70-5. Pakistan might have finally found a world class spin bowler after a wait of many decades. From a strong position of 117/1, England collapsed to 167/5. Ben Stokes and Will Jacks are batting right now and after that they have lower order batsmen such as Ollie Robinson and Jack Leach.

Yeh absolutely right england batter in same sense like they play in Thier previous test match where pitch was flat and didn't help bowler as a result they score more than 600 but now at multan stadium the pitch is different and help the bowler as a result the new young talented player abbrar got 5 wicket at his debew by dismissing england top order and middle order, which is a dream debew for every young player.
All my best wishes for this young talent hope this will be a new diamond for Pakistan bowling

Everyone is saying England batted poorly but i think they did good as these guys know that only way they could put pressure on opposition by playing attacking cricket.

Despite losing quick wickets Poms still made a good total at very fast run rate, i reckon it's a competitive total on this surface.

The only problem would be they don't have the quality of Abrar on their spin attack.

The pitch of the first match was completely flat. The bowlers couldn't do any favors. So England's batsmen were able to score a lot of runs very easily. I wouldn't say today's pitch is bowling friendly. Ajek's pitch is also quite batting-friendly. But England's batsmen should have batted a bit more carefully and settled down at the crease. None of England's batsmen could stay at the crease for long. And so they lost all the wickets in 52 overs.

My prediction was that England would collect 280 runs. But they lost all wickets for 281 runs. Mark Wood was unbeaten on 36 runs. Pakistani batsmen have just started their innings. I think they will not make the same mistakes as the England batsmen.

Dream start of debut by Abrar Ahmed who got 7 wickets on his very first spell. England today were going with 6 runs per over until Root got out in 25th over. Pakistan are in a good position right now and should try to score as many runs as possible. Since the pitch for this match is for bowlers, it won't be a high scoring game.

Australia declared their innings after scoring 511 runs. Travis Head scored 175 runs and Labuschagne scored 163 runs. Australian batsmen batted well. I think Australia will win this match too. Because the performance of West Indies batsmen is not good enough. West Indies lost three wickets to collect only 50 runs. 300 runs also look very difficult for West Indies. This series seems completely one-sided.

The way Pakistan has drawn England's reins is really claiming to praise. Here New cricketer Abrar Ahmed has taken 7 wickets that have become a really phenomenal matter. Zahid Mahmood on the other hand, picked up 3 wickets. However, they have shown bowling performance that Pakistan can easily win this match. But the reality is different. Pakistan has already lost two wickets. If they can't hold wickets, this simple match can be difficult too.

Babar Azam hits a captain's knock. After Abrar Ahmed's debut seven-wicket haul, Pakistan dominated the first day despite losing two wickets. Babar with the bat is obviously the star of the day, followed by Abrar Ahmed. Now it's time for the batters to go big with their bats. I hope that Pakistan's next morning will be a great day for them. Indeed, a great test match in progress.
