There would be only two outcome of the test match being played between Pakistan and England either it will end in a draw or England will win it. At the moment it seems the chance of winning is pretty much high. I think the English team management wants to go on till the end of first session and then they will declare the innings.

I don't think the match will be a draw. England's batsmen's batting is surprising me. Harry Brooks collected 27 runs in one over from Zahid Mahmood. I don't remember ever seeing a Test match. England's team has collected 568 runs in 83 overs. Their batting looks like they don't want to stay at the crease anymore. They want to score quick runs. They will probably declare the innings only if they can collect 600 runs. And if the Pakistani batsmen can't bat tow days in their first innings, then I think England will win this match.

England match looks like they are playing a T20 match. In the 75th over, they collected 18 runs. Such a picture is rare in Test matches. But if they continue to bat like this, it is difficult to say where the number of runs will stop. Moreover, they have enough wickets in hand. But there is no picture of the fame of the Pakistani bowler in the match. Their bowling action completely defeated by the England batsman. If a team scores 700-800 runs, the game will be one sided that would be boring for the spectators.

The question is today England is batting again are they going to make almost 1000 runs as a target to chase as we have seen yesterday how they quickly made runs and  they still have 6 wickets in hand .
Let's wait for Pakistan's batting and see how they will perform on this flat pitch .

England played a good game in yesterday's match. Today England came to bat again, today it seems that England will be all out. I don't like today's game, they are not playing well today. I hope what Pakistan says today is England's batting all out.  will be successful. Today, if Pakistan can play well, then England will not be able to score more runs in this match.

Naseem took the important wicket of Ben Stokes which helped Pakistan to stop the English batters. Otherwise at one point I thought England would set a target of 700+ runs. Already they have created a new record of scoring 500 runs in test cricket on the first day. If the pitch remains batter friendly then Pakistan does have the ability to chase such a big target. Then obviously this match will end in a draw although it is highly unlikely that the pitch will remain batter friendly.

In my recent memory, India has lost 70-80% toss against every touring team but they still won the match and sometimes with an inning too.

LOL.. that happens when you have a national panauti as the test captain. Now Kohli has been replaced with Rohit Sharma, and hopefully the chances of India winning the toss should improve. Anyway, dealing with Indian spinners on sub-continental tracks is extremely difficult and this is the reason why the SENA nations continue to lose matches despite winning the toss. But then, it needs to be seen how the team would perform, once the senior players such as Kohli, Rohit, Shami and Karthik retires from international cricket in the next 3-4 years.

He was indeed panauti in toss but under his tenure, India was ranked 1 test team for 5 consecutive years and India was ranked 6-7 when he took charge.

Indian spinners do have a reputation of humiliating the opposition team but Indian seamers are also effective at home (Umesh is a cheat code in India), surprisingly their SR and Ave are not far away from the spinners, despite spinners claiming a bag in every match.

Rohit-Kohli-Shami still has a couple of more years but Kartik? He's already retired from the Test unofficially (last test in 2018).

That tells a lot about the track that was prepared in Pindi. I just hope that the ICC will take note of this and penalize the PCB. And then the folks at ICC wonder why test cricket is getting less and less popular with every passing year.

Absolutely there is no point in watching this test match. The pitch was not helpful for bowlers on day on day two it is giving a little help. It seems England was lucky enough to win the toss and bat on such a pitch. Now it will be intresting to see whether this pitch helps the English bowlers or Pakistan batters.

England batted well on the first day. I thought they would match 1000 runs but they couldn't do it. They were all out for 657 runs. England didn't score many runs today, they scored runs yesterday. In this match, Pakistan came out to bat. They scored 64 in 19.2 overs.  Pakistan has not lost any wicket so far. Now it is to be seen how many runs Pakistan can score with the bat today.

We saw similar type of pitches in Australia tour to Pakistan earlier this year now we have worst then that in current test. Don't know what PCB management is trying to prove by creating such pitches. It's a good opportunity for batsman of both teams to improve there average by scoring more and more runs. Pakistan on the other hand are playing with run rate of 3.50.

That's true if imam ul haq and Abdulllah Shafiq maintained their partnership tomorrow they can bring this match to a draw because the target given by England is still huge . Tomorrow England ballers will definitely come prepared to take wickets and put pressure on Pakistani batsman.

I enjoyed it the best game I have ever seen I never enjoyed any game like this before but I really like this game I hope to see more games like this from England but no one imagined that England will play so well in England anyway  Good luck to England if they play well like this they can do something good

Yes it's true that Pakistan team has some  lack on batting side . But in this match their performance was not that bad . Because if you see score board  then you will see that they don't loss any wicket at the end of the day. But it was really commendable performance from the England because 657 run is not joking on cricket. But if England wanna be winner of this match then they should immediately took few wickets of Pakistan tomorrow after that their middle order wasn't that good so if they can take few wicket in the beginning then it will bring a plus point for us.

A completely bad pitch. The bowlers are not doing any favors. We saw England's devastating batting. England scored 657 runs in their first innings. But Pakistani batsmen are also playing well. Despite collecting 181 runs, they have not lost any wicket yet. England's two openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam Ul Haque are batting very well. The two Pakistani openers are batting very carefully. There is no doubt that the match is going to be a draw unless there is a batting disaster.
