Converge vs TNT is over and I am surprise how converge manage their lead and also from the 2nd quarter to 3rd quarter they are leading with 20 to 30 points which is pretty good with the team and in 4rth quarter I thought TNT will gonna getting closer but converge still manage and end the game with 130 points which is 13 points lead against TNT got only 117 points.

Didn’t expect this to be a high scoring game honestly, I’m surprise as well on how Converge manage to have that lead against TNT. Converge is indeed one of the contender for this conference. Being on the top 3 spot can already give a good assurance to proceed on the next round, I like how this team work their plays.

That's because of their import, Miller is probably the best import IMO, and that's making their locals to be confident as well. Being the number 3 in the standing and had won 3 consecutive games already, I think their chances in the playoffs is quite legit. This is the type of import that could carry a team.

Exactly mate you are right miller can do more plays to boost his teammates and this is the example of the best import in PBA which is he can carry his team also. And when miller is in the court as we all know and see that the local players are also hyper and active which is pretty good in offence and defense also their accuracy in shooting while doing a play I think they reach the max level that can beat tough team's in PBA.

The import of TNT also had a huge production, he scored 41 points and grab 11 rebounds but I think that does not help the team because we know that TNT is a team that loves to contribute their offense, if their import are carrying majority of the load, then most probably others will not be able to play their usual game.

I think it's better if the locals of TNT will also get more touches on the ball, I mean good ball movement would make the team better.

I agree to that, TNT's locals are also good offensively if the import will carry all the loads, the productions of their locals will surely affected, I just noticed earlier that's Teng even with that bad form of shooting really heat up and help their import to lead this game, I was in the impression that TNT will manage to rally back after they cut that big lead in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter.

But it was Teng who really step up and earn the best player of the game, it was a good try for TNT but it didn't earn them the win.

I'm quite surprised that Meralco didn't do well at this conference, they are now dwelling at the bottom of the standings which i think not the place for them if they have a quality import.

They will have a game today against SMB Beermen which i think a must win situation for them if they want to secure a slot in the playoffs in the coming weeks but parading a new import could also pose a problem for them as their new import who just arrived Friday need to jell well to have a good chemistry with the team.

Bolts ML @2.10 vs SMB Beermen, i think the Bolts could pull an upset here if the import will play well against an inconsistent Beermen. Risky bet for me but I don't trust the Beermen without Fajardo manning the middle.

Tnt locals have good teamwork and pass the ball which is it's a big help for the team when the ball movement is in there and not the only one who handles the ball. In short, TNT nowadays doesn't have chemistry with their import and as we all know that 1 player can not carry his team alone if he is not passing to another player, also we all know how locals players play they are accurate in shooting outside and inside and this is conference they need more chemistry and know each other ability.

When I saw the lead at the 2nd quarter, I was shocked as well, but upset happens.

TBH, I didn't expect Converge to play like this on their 2nd season in the league. Seems like changing their coach was a good one. Also, their import is playing very well and also include how many minutes he is playing. He is averaging a double-double and he is playing at around 40-43 minutes on average and that's shows that his stamina is high.

They are at the top 3 right now, but the question is they can maintain it. Their next games are still hard because 3 of the 6 are the top 8 teams currently while the other 3 is against the bottom teams. I just saw Blackwater last Philippine Cup coming from around top 4 standing and ended up at the top 8 so there might be a chance that they might fall if they will not play well in their next games. Let's see, but it's good to see independent teams fighting against the 2 giant companies of MVP and SMC.

We need to see new teams to reach that far because the excitement is not so good if we can see those sister teams battling together since we can get scripted win or lose match up on the series. For sure fans want to see some good changes on the league and maybe they can start with replacing the commissioner.

Even before I'm vocal that someday, we might see a non MVP or SMC teams that will play on the PBA Finals.

But we have to remember that even those top teams in the PBA experienced an upset in the elimination round, their gameplay always improved during the playoffs and that's because of their experience.

I am sure if Converge and Bay Area Dragons will be on the finals, the viewership will take a big hit. These teams do not have loyal followers like Ginebra or big fans like San Miguel, TNT, or Magnolia. PBA fans are already dwindling and if these two teams are going to the finals, we will see lesser viewers.

PBA became stale because we always see the same team from two companies getting in the finals, but they do draw crowds. Maybe it could be better if one team were from an independent team and another from either SMC or MVP teams. Just to stir things up. Maybe this year we will see this with Bay Area Dragons proving to be a strong guest team. Maybe dragons vs one of the team from MVP or SMC.

I was able to bet for the TNT ML @2.05 when the Katropa was down by nine points after the first half and i think it was a good bet since TNT is now leading by three point with less than three minutes to go in the game, hope the Katropa will pull away in this quarter.

It's surprising, a back-to-back loss for TNT and like what you said they are already in the game in that last quarter run just can't finish the game with the win, I don't have any idea with William's suspension since I don't read news just watching the live game before betting as observing the actual game can give much better idea if the team is playing well.

A good win for the fuel master, adding another one for the team and bringing them to a positive spot from this single round elimination.

It's been reported that Mikey Williams faces consequences for being arrogant and not doing his obligation on the team. A 1 week's suspension is being handed instead of a money fine. Jojo Lastimosa said in the interview that Williams is always AWOL at their practice without notifying the team and also pointed out that he is being paid big so in return, be responsible for the team.

I don't know what happening to Mikey Williams but he has that attitude even before since he's a "star".

Not expecting too much from independent teams TBH, and I don't expect them to be at the Semis. That's how low the competitiveness of the league is.

We might see Converge at the top 4 if they will play like this consistently but in the playoffs, they will just get defeated if they will face either a strong SMC or MVP team which is at the bottom. I still remember the time when Phoenix was at the top spot of the conference, but they just got destroyed by SMB. Can't remember if the Phoenix are the top 1 or top 2 but at least they lost to the lower seed SMB at that time. I'm not saying that it might happen to Converge as well, but that's how I look with independent teams right now.

He think that he is the best play in the team but actually he is not, if I would rank the best players in a team, number 1 for me would Castron, 2nd would be Pogoy and he ranks 3rd in my list. This player only had one good season with the team when they won the championship but the following seasons he was already expose especially in the playoffs.

If ever they will manage to take a slot to semis, it will be a good and impressive start for coach Ayo. I admire this coach very young but
full of IQ in reading players' capabilities.

We are not sure if how far they can reach but seeing converge competing so well and winning games the way it wasn't expected,

On that note, Converge is bringing good competition as an individual franchise.
