Xavi initial task at Barcelona is quite heavy because the Blaugrana is currently in a slump. And their chances of redeeming their lost position from Madrid, depends on how they play the game.

Granada should have tried to keep a respected goals different between them and real madrid today, but they were so out of their mind when they scored one and thought they could push for more, this left them vulnerable to real madrid attack, I think 1:2 real madrid may at the end of the season help a team like granada. Smaller teams should know goals different is also important in there league survival.

Real Madrid gained a clear victory today against Granada by 4-1 in the away game. And it was very obvious that Real Madrid were going to have a comfortable and pleasing game. Granada are not tough enough to fight back against Real Madrid. And we've seen it in this game too. Real Madrid are the provisional leader in the league standings for now.

I wont surprise much since day one he arrived at the club , his experience in a competitive league are really doubtful .. as he step in straight from a middle east league.

3 points in his first ever game as a manager. I get that Xavi got a little bit lucky there, the goal was from a penalty and Espanyol did look like they could have scored a few goals there as well. Nevertheless it is still 3 points and people will not remember how it was gotten, people will remember as a win and that is it by the end of the season. They still need to get better a lot more, right now they are not looking like they are playing at a great level but I have seen enough potential in change of style that I am sure they will be doing fine.

Let's see how they will react to this game and if they will change anything. Even the fact that the conduct of the team changed shows enough promise for me.

He played magnificent while playing for Trabzonspor. He couldn't recover afterward.

This is one of those easy wins. Granada played with less confidence and Maldrid took good advantage of that to have scored a 2-1 win in the first half while the second half was more of a walk over as Granada took two red cards with even weakened the team further. Will Granada survive relegation? and would Maldrid end the season at the top of the league?

Real Madrid started fast already, found two goals in first 25 minutes. Asensio moved the ball and scored so easily, it looked like Granada had no defense there. Nacho Fernández also scored from a well organized corner kick, they must work on this set piece in training. Even though Real conceded a goal I don't expect Granada to make a comeback. Real should find third goal to make sure they get three points without any trouble in last minutes.

At the end of half time, Real Madrid is leading 2-1. They managed to score 2 goals in just 25 minutes but conceded one goal in 34 minutes. Although I think Real Madrid will win the match. But they will not win easily. Although Real Madrid has more ball possession, Granada has some good attacks with less ball possession. They don't look like they will play defensively in the second half either. Granada will try to attack. Real Madrid defenders must be aware.

Sure enough, Granada 2nd round game will be much tougher to match the score. But if you look at the time that is running out, then it is positive that Real Madrid is the winner. A score of 1 - 4 was good enough for Real Madrid to maintain its position, 2 points ahead of Sevilla who only pocketed 28 points. Until the end of this season, Real Madrid must be ready to beat Sevilla next week.

Yes, it was a convincing victory, scoring 4 goals and only 1 goal conceded. If we look at the stats, Real Madrid really dominated the match by shooting 21 times and 10 on target. In my personal opinion, this is one of the effects to put the right players on the attacking line. To be honest, I am very happy to see Asensio playing full time and he became the first player to score in this match. Seeing his performance, he deserves to play as a starting player in every match. At the moment, Real Madrid looks quite strong compared to its rivals. But do not forget that there are still many matches ahead. While the phenomenal play of Vinicius, Benzam and the Cross-Modric-Casemiro trio makes Real Madrid feel great. But the rivals will gain shape over time. And they will start catching up with Real Madrid. I think everything will be decided in the spring, when the decisive matches begin.

for me, Barca may be far from champions for this season. but Atletico is still close and has the potential to add to their points. Barca is still constrained by internal problems. and that limits them this season. a very strong influence on their performance.

You never can tell , if Barca comes up with a better  performance  it is not late to meet up, the problem of Barca is defense . The player's should try to put effort to work on their defense.
