Barcelona have brought Xavi finally to their manager position. And their first game with him in the La Liga will be against Espanyol and it is a home game too. They have the same points now. And I feel like this game could be the first step of a new rise for Barcelona. While there is an international break now, Xavi have a good amount of time to think about a strong formula for the team to help them gather strength.

I just have this strong feeling xavi will do better as winning Espanyol would be his first task as Barcelona new manager since it happens to be a home match considering the international break which would give him enough time to train with the team and build a good squad for the club. But since he was one of the best midfielders in the laliga it wouldn't be difficult for him to adapt

Xavi is synonymous with Barcelona, and I think, he is one of the legends that Barcelona ever had. He knows Barcelona very well, so it won't be difficult for him to adapt, even though he's now back as a coach.

Xavi doesn't have much experience as a coach yet, so coaching Barcelona can be a burden for Xavi because Barcelona is in a slump and Xavi is expected to fix the problem. I get your point but the ability to coach is beyond that. Xavi Hernandez is once a football player in Barcelona and with what you have said it is more about loyalty but if the club continues to play not quite well, he should consider himself to be fired just as Lambard was fired as Chelsea manager. I hope Barcelona will play good during his time but Messi that left Barcelona is the real big problem Barcelona is sufferin today, the club will later get good form and okay better than the poor period they are now.

Taking into account the fact that Xavi came to the club to solve current problems with the existing composition of the team and not to select the composition for his ideas, he is more like an anti-crisis manager than a full-fledged coach of a top club. I read some local media that the coaching career at Al sadd SC was quite good. But it's true that you say barca and al sadd are different. Maybe European football is tougher competition and pressure.
