I think that the El Clasico was quite delightful even though especially Barcelona weren't having one of their best periods. Real Madrid were way ahead of them in offense and defense both and they showed it to us too by defeating Barcelona, 2-1. I guess that Barcelona fans didn't expect their team to lose in Camp Nou at least but they were disappointed by this result also. But Barcelona are still making an effort to get better and they need time for that. I'm sorry but the fans shouldn't keep their hopes up for this season.

Those of us who have been observing Barcelona since the previous season are not surprised at such a performance by Barcelona. Barcelona were good as a team last season, but they were not stable. and Sergio Busquets could not motivate other players to fight for victory. Barcelona do need a star player who has the ability to lead on the pitch,
but the problem is that Barcelona's finances are in a bad state. So can't buy too expensive star players, maybe looking for a star player who will
run out of contract is the best way that Barcelona can do. And what is certain is that Barcelona must also change their coach, Koeman has proven
to have failed to make Barcelona play well.

Now Barcelona cannot afford to buy any new star players. They need to see how the best performance can be achieved by using the players in their squad properly. Real Sociedad are now at the top of the points table, are the Barcelona players worse than Sociedad? I don't think so. There are still many talented players in Barcelona. @Shasha80, You have a valid point. Barca had 'leaders' in their squad over the years. From Puyol to Xavi, Iniesta to Messi. But I think after Messi left, that 'leader' position is somewhat void right now. One might say that Pique and Busquets are senior players, but being senior and being a leader is different. Also, the current financial situation won't let them sign any quality player which is also an issue. So I guess what they gotta do is wait a season or two to regenerate that money and then go sign some quality players.

It would be funny if we just blamed Koeman because I think the Barcelona management is also to blame for the departure of some important players from the team on a free. Koeman suffered quite a bit at Barcelona because he didn't have many reliable players to help his tactics work better in every match. Just look at Dest, he is a left-back but he gets a role as a winger to help attack with his speed and ball skills. If no other players can be brought in, then Barcelona will really slump this season.

It might have gone like this, we still had bad results even with MSN still alongside each other on the same team BUT the manner we played has changed drastically. You're right, Suarez at Barca would not have allowed us to lose the UCL games that we did.

I still don't understand why Barca kicked out Suarez.He was one of the best strikers in the entire history of Barcelona and the club just fired him in a pretty disrespectful way.I don't know anything about his financial requirements,maybe he asked for a very big salary,but dumping him was a huge mistake.
His salary was definitely smaller than the salary of Lionel Messi,so it wasn't a problem for Barcelona to keep Suarez.
Anyway,Real Madrid winning against Barcelona was pretty much expected,but the El Clasico kinda lost of his glamour,after the big stars like Messi and Ronaldo aren't playing for Barcelona and Real.

Suarez is a good friend of Messi. Suarez contributed to Messi's success at Camp nou by converting his passes to goes then increasing his assists counts. Then Messi contributed to Suarez success by always assisting him. Both augment each other and developed bond in and outside the pitch.
One shouldn't have left and the other stay back. Also Barcelona's financial issues could be a contributing factor.
Moreover, the result was fair, the better team took the day. Yet, it still looked like a keenly contested El Clásico.

A major reason why Suarez left is Koeman. He told Suarez that he is not good enough for his squad and that he has aged. The irony is that they lost to Atletico because of Suarez's goal. And Suarez said that he didn't celebrate the goal against Barca, he celebrated against Koeman. There is no denying that Suarez was one of the most important parts of Barcelona after Neymar left and Messi and he had very good chemistry between them. All I can say is that may he do well in Atletico.

Quite surprised by the results of the match Atletico madrid and Real Sociedad. I think they will lose at home. Sociedad looked amazing, they took the lead by 2 goals. Unfortunately the second half, they were a bit off guard so Suarez was able to score 2 goals. Thanks to those 2 goals Suarez became an Atletico hero, he proved himself that he was still very sharp to be a striker. A draw makes Sociedad in the first position of the temporary La Liga standings.

Currently, we just finished Vilarreal vs Cadiz a very entertaining match between these two team once Cadiz was leading 1 - 3 thanks to Lozano's hatrick Vilarreal was in good touch before break, but this was really disaster for them having 2 defeats in a row, and now they are struggling very badly in very low spot in table injury time goal give them one point and have some better result after very poor start of this match.
Espanyol vs Bilbao it's really poor for visitors as they fail to have their full points and having chance to reach in top 4 now next match is also very tough for them as they are going to face Real Soceidad.

Villarreal was suppose to win the match, it was their home match, and Cadiz was probably not in their best form. Although, Villarreal dominated the match with 78% ball possession, but I was surprised to see how they struggled to achieve a draw point towards the end of the game. However, I think Villarreal have to work on their defense, conceding 7 goals in their last 5 La Liga matches is quite bad. And a tough match await them, they will be playing an away match against Valencia.

Agree. The problem isn't caused by Koeman only, Barcelona management should be the most responsible to lead Barcelona in a crisis. The main problem is the financial problem, it makes Messi leaves the club. This financial problem was surely caused by Barcelona management, not caused by Koeman. So, Koeman is just the victim here.

Compared to the matches at the start of the season, I would say Barcelona have improved a bit. But that’s not enough. Barcelona is not the team to compete for the title this season. I hope you're lucky. Right now Barcelona are not at their best so no wonder Barcelona are getting odds @1.8x, it looks like a decent odds. Because even, if I look at the performance of each team so far this season, Rayo Vallecano might be able to give a good result, even if it's only a draw result. Not only that, previously Barcelona could even be held by Cadiz draw which in fact, Cadiz is currently worse than Rayo Vallecano and that is reflected in their current position in the standings.
