By the looks of it al-sadd has zero intentions of letting Xavi go. If they drag their feet it will take a long time to get someone like Xavi, I mean it is still legally possible, just pay the fine and get Xavi if you want to. However not only barcelona is in dire financial trouble but they also need to pay Koeman a lot of money as well, even though they fired him the compensation will be high, on top of that paying Xavi AND paying al-sadd for Xavi all get together and create a huge financial fiasco for the team.

I believe that they will probably not go with him for now, there is a good chance they may look for someone who is free agent right now and try to do as good as they possibly can until Xavi is freed up, or at least until off-season if nothing else works. Paying this much money for a manager change is not something a team with financial trouble can do right now.

I think the problem wasn't in their coach, but the club. Barcelona are hiding a big secret about the problems especially financially the club is facing, the Messi transfer is still questionable to me, and now I don't see how the players can be playing like this for a team like Barcelona, I haven't watched a season of any UEFA champions league without Barcelona but come next uefa champions league I don't think Barcelona would make the draws.

Alaves did just 7 dangerous attack in the second half and was able to score from one of them while Barcelona did 59 but with no effectiveness، first and last goal was in the 49th minutes after that alots of attempts but with no results.

Barcelona can't score more than 1 goal and I don't think that makes them play bad enough the whole match. I saw them playing well today after Koeman was gone, it's just that some good chance were wasted because the Alaves keeper was quick enough to save the net. I really regret expecting a lot from Coutinho, he's not like before even though he still has good pace.

With the current composition of the team, I also believe that it will be difficult for Barcelona to be at the top of the table, but I like the team's performance after Koeman was not there.

I really can't believe how long they waited with sacking Koeman. To be fair, he didn't have the Fc Barcelona at hand that it used to be five, six, seven years ago, but still he made a number of horrible decisions. Best example: Suarez... I am sure Koeman has the worst stats with Barcelona in the club history of the last 20 or so years.

Barcelona should regret bringing Koeman as coach because in just a short time he managed to get rid of several important players at Barcelona because it was not according to his wishes. It was a mistake that they should correct in the future.

Today Barcelona will host Alaves at Camp Nou and this is Sergi Barjuan's debut as interim Barcelona coach who is expected to make a difference to the result to be achieved. It will be very curious how he can lead the Barcelona first team today and I will be waiting for this match in the next hour.

Yes its very sad to see Barcelona at this situation, i dont understand how such a club can face financial problems which lead to the current catastrophic results

The club is laterally without soul and we cant feel any tram spirit while watching Barcelona matches, not being able to score more than one goal for 3 consecutive matches is a real shame for Barcelona.

Barcelona is generously giving away points at home. Deportivo Alaves desperately needed points to stay out of relegation zone and Barcelona gave them one point. It used to be the scariest away game, now Camp Nou have no hesitation. We shouldn't expect anything from Barcelona this season but it still hurts to see them in such position. Aguero injury has added to the list of Barcelona players who have entered the treatment room, Previously Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati, Martin Braithwaite, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong had already undergone treatment.

Despite the draw today 1 1 barcelona performance seemed a lot better than the recent games with so many goal opportunities but unfortunatly they still have problems especially their defense i think its time to make some changes because pique and garcia duo is not working well i think umtiti and lenglet should play more often especially umtiti he really is what barcelona needs he is good and experienced and with some injured players back like fati dembele and frenkie de young i think the results will improve.

At least the financial problem is a complicated problem that is difficult for Barcelona's management to solve. Koeman's sacking seems frustrating at his poor job, but I don't think the coach was the main factor in their transition, although if I look at Koeman he did make a few mistakes early on in his arrival. Xavi selection may be a solution as well as a new problem. Indeed he is a legend, he is loved by the Barcelona public but when he becomes a coach the pressure is very different. It's possible that if he fails his fate will be like Koeman's, but I think it's worth a try. With Xavi maybe barca will also get a little cheaper price for a coach, and a Barcelona legend.

I dont think the fault is totally from the coach,I'm pretty sure that barcelona has a couple of administrators and ambassadors that could gather the teams left over funds and try to fix up the loop holes,starting from the defense; pique is beginning to get weak and cannot hold on that position alone so is either the pair him just like what ole gunners is doing in man utd or they simple drop him.
The team's performance depends partly on the manager because i don't think the manager can just sign any player he wants on his own,they must be an executive meeting to debate ; it isn't unanimous

I was expecting an easy win for Barcelona but they failed against a humble team like Alaves, Ronald Koeman is the first to be blamed in their situation because Braca still have a good squad that can compete even for La Liga, now it seems like we won't see them as strong as they were without making some changes in the team starting by firing Koeman.
