Atletico Madrid is currently playing against Real Betis and if current scores don't change, this will put Atletico 2 points behind league leaders Real Madrid and Sevilla and from the look of things the old top 5 is back but Barcelona is nowhere to be seen
in this pack and not to be so hard on them they could catch up with a couple of wins if they play with consistent wins.

Vinicius demonstrates excellent performance. As for the match, despite the approximately equal statistics and a close score, Real won in the power saving mode.

Vinicius is the kind of boyz that has much skills but lacks concentration and the last touch, so whenever he is more focused on the game he can show his true performance.
Real Madrid and Sevilla won their games and we have 3 teams with 24 points now.
Meanwhile, Barca didn't score yet and the first half is almost over.

I can't say that I followed his game a lot, but if so, then this is typical behavior for young and for Brazilian footballers. Hopefully he can break it and become a great player, at least judging by how Real Madrid "leads" him, they believe in it.
As for the standings, it is really unusual - both Atletico and Barcelona are absent in the leading group at the same time.

Like Barcelona doesn't have enough problem starting from financial issues to questionable management and medical issues with many injuries and now Aguero..
Yesterday draw is equal to a defeat. They are 5 points away from a CL spot and 8 points behind Real Madrid in the first place.. Hard season.
Both ATM and Sociedad will have interesting games vs Betis and Bilbao respectively. Odds are in favor of the first teams.

Yeah, I know. But seriously I am not expecting big things from our squad anymore so I'm actually not terribly disappointed by the results. For me, more important to see us play with some smiles and see the squad grow and gel together, and I personally thought it was good as a performance from them.

No need to view at UCL spots anymore, just take each game one by one, with UCL one coming up next. We must beat Kiev to look forward.

Time is still long and this can be pursued after a change from coach Xavi Hernandes maybe now is a difficult period in terms of finances but if the game is neat and disciplined this can be a shield for Barcelona to recover and this week with CL matches is enough should be able to win for Barcelona.
I hope Xavi has a special affinity for players even though he is a player and a player still playing for Barcelona.

Atletico is a very good team in the defense and I don't think that they will lose this lead. Seems La-Liga is also getting interesting this season. Even the struggling Barca are also making a comeback. If Atletico wins this, they will be 2 points behind Real. This means no top teams can make any error in the next matches.

Had it been Lionel Messi is in Barcelona, Barcelona would not have lose in the game . The major problem of Barcelona was not Ronald Koeman Barcelona lacks good players for defense.

Is it true that Barcelona can get through this easily? even they are now making many fans are not excited anymore. Losing a lot of power, it's difficult for Barcelona to go through more and more obstacles. While I hope Barcelona have to come back with the strength they have, it might take a little bit of work and continue to bounce back from things they shouldn't be lamenting about. The journey in La Liga is still very far, many obstacles for Barcelona to face.

Barcelona are struggling to compete, and it's only normal if you look at the players they currently have in their team, watching Barcelona's games these days and I find it difficult to identify some of the players I see in the team, it's that bad, it's not just the fault of the manager, they need to buy new players, but they seem to be in a financial crisis, thus I don't know where the money they'll spend on players is going to come from. I may not like Barcelona so much, but it's sad to see a club of their status in their present condition, this is a club that is renowned for competing, but at the moment, they are struggling to compete with even the lower teams in the league, I actually hope Barca find their feet again sooner than later.

as you said, the most important thing for barcelona now is not the title but their transition which must be corrected immediately, besides that the mentality of the team and cooperation need to be improved again.
forget about the championship, they must focus on settling their debts first before venturing into performance. because if their debt is allowed to drag on then I guarantee Barcelona will be more chaotic than now.

Atletico played an excellent match and was able to win confidently, which allowed them to keep a 2-point lag Real Madrid. Unexpectedly for me, Sevilla and Real Sociedad are also holding their positions well, so the top four are very tight and the whole fight is just ahead. As for Barcelona, I doubt that they will be able to join this group of leaders, for them to finish the season in the Eurocups zone will already be a good result.

It's acceptable as long as they beat other opponents. We can expect them to finish the league in fifth or sixth position again. Right now their position reflect their actual ranking in La Liga. Atletico on the other hand needed this three points after two draws. Now they can focus on Liverpool game more comfortably.

Well yea but their focus is completely in Europe League this season so don't expect them to perform well in the 1st half of the LaLiga season. However, they are kinda promoted in Europe next phase so I do believe that soon they will start to pick up their pace in LaLiga because they showed us just like you said, that they can perform just like the start of the season.

Real Betis has been ranked 5th, an achievement that is quite proud for those who are indeed a dark horse club. They've tried quite well despite having to lose to Atletico Madrid (a defeat that is quite reasonable). Being in the same group as Leverkusen is something Real Betis must get rid of to advance to the first place of their group. We are waiting for the LineUps to implement the best attack strategy from Real Betis.

Sociedad, the first right now, got only 1 point vs Bilbao which was able to score a late goal although playing with 10 players in the last 10 minutes. So Real Madrid, Sevilla and ATM could jump in front of it in the table.
I feel that La Liga followers lost some enthusiasm after seeing CR7 and Messi moving out but finding some challenges in top of the table is something good imo

Barcelona is massive brand in soccer world even they have some very bad time in current season, but they can handle in near future which is going to happen it is just matter of time. From your desired teams we have only real Sociedad which is capable of having some better end because they are on top, and they are consistently doing much better than expectations.

If they keep going like this then surely we will have some good fight in top from few clubs but surely Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are not going to lose their regular spots because these all are full of sources and funds which can change things for them very quickly without any problem.

First off, Congratulations on your win! Athletico Madrid has improved their performances in the last few games. I watched how they came back strong against Liverpool and they performed at that same level today against Betis and deserve all 3 points. If they manage to keep up these results without minimal points dropped, second consecutive La liga trophy might be in the works.

I hope Aguero is fine, sure manager changes and bad results and sacking Koeman all are bad things for the general outcome of the team but this is life situation and when we are talking about something regarding someone's life, football needs to take a back seat. I hope that he will feel better in the near future, I hope he doesn't force himself and tire himself out too much, he should take a rest for a while and try to get better.

I know that it is not going to be easy for a player like him to just rest for a long period but he definitely needs it. Barcelona also another bad news from Al-Sadd who doesn't want to let Xavi go, and I think both Barcelona president who doesn't want Xavi since Xavi turned him down before, on top of Xavi not wanting to lead a team that is so bad right now combined will make it near impossible for all parties to come to an agreement.
