Saudi league has become the best place to retire from playing in professional football. His mind can change anytime. Football was actually dynamic. It's unlikely modric will try to go to the saudi league this time but you can't sure if he will still try to stay next season. Madrid may not offer him another contract extension again consider his age is very old right now. Im thinking of modric will change his mind before end of next season.

You mean a whole Modric rejected $120 million from Saudi Arabia because of taste, please don't gag me because I can't picture a 37 years old and taste. Even the Almighty Ronaldo that has the biggest record of the highest goal scorer in Real Madrid was the first player to accept such deal and he is still relevant in the pitch and more investment deals are still coming talk more of him with little impact the of goals, his assist is a top notch but let's be honest, there is more to that taste.

If there is a big offer from a Saudi club, I think he should accept it, isn't that good for him because he can earn a lot of money although being too old? Why do you think Modric should do that? If he had constructive talks with the management of Real Madrid and they told him that they will still count on him next season as a regular player and not sitting on the bench all the time, isn't it great that he decides to play for another season and make the club, the fans and himself happy? He decided from season to season and he did the right think extending his contract for not too long but still having the possibility to play in one of the best teams in the world on the highest level in the world. I think he feels great and should follow his own thoughts here instead of just looking at the money.
