I never expected Tunisia to win nigeria, after the first half I was thinking this game will end with in a goalless match until Tunisia scored,  thus performance of nigeria can make the team to work  harder,  I think nigeria is becoming relaxed.

Tunisia is now with good chances to reach at least the semi-final, maybe even the final. There is "only" Senegal as a very strong team left in their half of the tournament's bracket.

Tunisia have the chance to defeat Nigeria does mean that the cup will reach their hands i have checked the methods of their football is not orderly strong, their defeated Nigerian team with luck and chance, it is Nigeria football team that take it unserious but i know they have tried their best.

Sadly, Nigeria has been knocked out of the 2021 Afcon. The team played poorly in the first half. For the first 45 minutes, there was no intensity, no urgency. Are we watching the original Super Eagles? Tunisia exposed them after they attempted to deceive us. Despite the Eagles' superiority in skills, the Tunisians had well-honed tactics.

Nigeria having been eliminated from the AFCON, now I support Cameroon to win this title.

I am not surprised because this is just spike a game of throne. Football can be unpredictable at time that is why one has to be more focused and concentrated in what they do. Nigeria fan was busy happen when they got full 9 point without any difficult, but now they players was not that lucky to win the match which is a normal thing that do happen in football.

IMO, the Super played the best they could even with the red card in the second half, they were just the unlucky side of the game. Exactly,  Nigeria were not just lucky  in the game, not that they were loose, Nigeria is a good team that plays very well, their are time when good teams do perform low and it makes them strong and to be well prepare for the  next game.

Of course there is always a factor of luck. But equally important are skills and motivation. While they surely have the skill, I think Nigeria lacked a bit of motivation after their perfect first round with 3 victories. They didn't take it serious enough and weren't hungry enough for the win and then at some point they were unlucky twice (Tunisia's goal and the red card).

That's why such tournaments are mostly won by the teams that are not only good, but also very motivated.

I think Nigeria lacked a bit of motivation after their perfect first round with 3 victories. They didn't take it serious enough and weren't hungry enough for the win and then at some point they were unlucky twice (Tunisia's goal and the red card).

That's why such tournaments are mostly won by the teams that are not only good, but also very motivated.

Yes being good is not just enough, getting motivated and staying motivated is also very important. Some players really like the Nigerian goalie Maduka, came under backlash for being distracted and not giving their very best in the game.

According to the bookmakers Cameroon and Senegal are the top teams now with quotes around 4.0 to 5.0. We could see a final between these two teams. I think Cameroon has good chances to win the tournament.

Guinea vs Gambia - pretty balanced. bookmakers favor Guinea slightly. Here you would definitely need some background knowledge or strong conviction for a bet  Bookmakers expect few goals, could be a 1-0 for either team
Cameroon vs Comoros - a win for Cameroon only pays 1.06. So this is a >90% for them to win in 90Minutes. As Cameroon plays at home they should be motivated enough to avoid negative surprises. Most probable outcomes are 2-0 or 3-0

Nigerian did not win does not mean that other countries that people brittle will not defeat their counterpart, Cameroon have strong team and since the tournament they have been playing well, it surprise people that Cameroon can equally defeat some group like Senegal when it come to finals, because majority of the team we feel is not doing well can succeed this cup, look at Nigeria have defeated all the group team but reaching knock out they could not win Tunisia

About today's game I don't understand why bookmakers are giving almost the same odds for the game between Guinea - Gambia? in my opinion Gambia is better than Guinea

I didn't see any scoring chance that you said the Nigerian team didn't take. The formation and starters were not the best. I think I have my own side with the coach Augustine Eguavoen, he didn't introduce best legs into the game earlier. I hope we remember that the red card came after the goal in second half of the game and so it has nothing to do with the goal scored and not the keeper's fault but that of the defenders because he was a little bit blocked from seeing the close range shot on him, afterall he saved one other very close wicked shot.

Eguavoen didn't include Sadiq Umar early. His introduction was even the reason that the Nigerian team could go forward a little because he gave pressure upfront. Then Ahmed Musa was brought in just 3 minutes to the end of the match, how can somebody do that in a losing match ?

Odion Ighalo was also kept on the bench when he knew chukwueze was not active upfront. I think he didn't do a good reading of the match. The forward were not well utilized.

Nigeria's fortunes were bad. Otherwise, they would not have lost to a weaker team like Tunisia. My first favorite team in this tournament was Nigeria. Those who played well in all the matches of the group stage. The second choice team is Cameroon. I enjoyed the past a lot of this team. They have a world-class squad. The players are good enough and hardworking. My expectation is that they will win today's match 2-0.

Cameroon's team is strong enough. They have scored seven goals in three group stage matches. However, they conceded one goal in each match. So I would say that if you want to be a champion then the coach of Cameroon should try to strengthen his defense a bit. Otherwise, I wouldn't be surprised if Cameroon's situation is like Nigeria's.

50 minutes are already played and the game is without goals and it seems to me that it is being a very balanced game with chances of ending in a draw and going to penalties, I'm glad I didn't bet on this game, maybe under could be a good option

Yes it is going to be an interesting match to watch because Comoros is a new comer in the African continent therefore an underdogs in football too. I don't think I have watched Comoros play so I can't really predict what could be the outcome of the match but definitely going to watch the match coming by 8:pm,  barely 1 hour 49 minutes from this time.

White African countries are difficult countries to play with but it is surprising that Tunisia that people thought Nigeria will win scored early and secure the 1 goal to the end of the match. Nigeria is out of the tournament.

This match was indeed a surprising match to me, because many people didn't expect such an offset to happen, but it makes us that give the super Eagle of Nigeria the full support and forgetting the strategy of football. It ended in favor of Tunisia with a lone goal, and that's football is either you win or you loose. I personally will be supporting the host community to get the trophy.
