Price went up for late October SP31...
Calculate $/GHs

August Group Buy
4500 / 6000 = 0.75  $/GHs Original
4500 / 4500 = 1.00  $/GHs Reality

September Price
3895 / 4500 = 0.87  $/GHs

End of October Price
3920 / 5500 = 0.71  $/GHs

All depends on the difficulty growth of course...

I would appreciate being able to apply whatever compensation you are offering for the August orders towards the now available late October units?

Who would ever believe RoadStress' numbers?  He has been in the KnC thread with negative garbage far more than I've been here and he slants everything in every possible way into a biased POV.  I totally don't believe his findings.

However, I don't say his assertion is not factual.  Maybe someone who knows how to take decent measurements and without a Spondoolies dick to suck, might come to the same conclusion.  That would be worth learning about.

Check my post history. I have praised KnC last autumn. I have opposed Avenger many times, but the situation was different. Late 2013 KnC was king same as Avalon was in early 2013. In 2014 situation has changed. I chose to refund my Neptune pre-order and with the money spent on 3Th/s hardware I got 9Th/s from Spondoolies Tech. It took more than 3 weeks to get a refund from KnC and around 50 e-mails sent to their support team. Yes KnC sucks and everyone should know this. While Neptunes are bursting into flames my SP30 bundle is happily hashing with 3x more hashpower.

0.578W/Gh

But +18.5 BTC for RoadStress

The money were donated, check GB OP.

Just found about http://www.rigwarz.com/ My only know-how comes from the forum, but it seems that I found an unbiased opinion about the SP30. It seems that it's doing very good besides all the trolls whining. Only 2 days ROI difference between S3 and SP30. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Edit: Well if you add the 12 PSU cost I think that the SP30 might achieve ROI just a little faster than the S3s. Math is nice! Crypto is uber!

Atm, I don't know if I should invest in SP31 or not, becasue I have got no clue what the compensation is going to include...

Also, me and many have not even had a chance to earn anything yet from my GB units to invest in SP31...

RigWarz clearly says .67 while you say .578.  Your trickery, slant and bullshit at every turn is boring.

Only 2 days ROI difference between S3 and SP30. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
More bullshit. RigWarz says 18 days.  You are looking at the SP31 numbers and trying to pretend your machine somehow get the benefit of 5.5TH in the calculations.  You lie to yourself - over, and over again.  I call bullshit.  Your ability to stretch the truth is legendary.  Your slams on KnC and been 10X any bullshit I've dumped in this thread.

I really want a SP31, and agree that it is far and away the best miner on the market right now, but just can't get over that $4000 price with a two month lead time.

Come on Spondoolies, please make it easier for me to be a repeat customer!  Smiley

Sorry, but that site is significantly flawed. For instance, it claims "* Prices do not include shipping or tax.", yet the S3 price does include shipping. Furthermore, "** ROI calcs assume static conditions for ranking purposes only." It's impossible to compare miners with static conditions fairly.

Only under misleading and unrealistic comparisons might the SP31 ROI before an S3+.

Here's a better comparison not based on absurd math:

S3+ vs SP31

S3+ ROI: 180 days

SP31 ROI: 360 days

There's also a huge change that S3+'s are overclockable to ~500GH. There is also a chance that the SP31 performs like SP30 should have at ~6.6TH but I'd guess it's more likely it ends up closer to 4.5TH.

It's also worth noting that many can use an S3 as a space heater during the winter for free/cheaper electricity.

You forgot the PSU costs. Everyone always forgets the PSU cost. The S3 does not cost $305, it costs at least $350.

Well, many people bought PSU with S1 and already accounted for them.
I actually like Sp-30, but S3 is a formidable opponent because of it's "granularity". You can risk $600-700 and see how it goes, especially with more than 30 day operational record.

Only if you're setting up a single S3. If you doing any sort of farm, you're going to use server power supplies which cost maybe $10 per S3.

The Dell 750w can be purchased for around that, a few cables and a large enough quantity would get that price.

Or you could purchase a breakout board adds a bit more to the PSU cost, its easier and sometimes looks nicer.

Spondoolies doesn't want your order.  They want orders from people who have cash.  Orders from people to whom they owe cash do nothing but annoy them.  Previous customers are a pain in the ass.  They just want new fresh blood with pockets full of cash.  Previous customers keep asking for reductions due to getting fucked on their last order.  You think a company can make money dealing with people who expect 'compensation'. No way.  That is not how it works.
