That's just freaking great. They, seriously have taken a mick!

On 27th they are off because of their weekend break. And banks start working on Monday 29th.
Now, it seems obvious that the delay with this refund is deliberate...
They will probably apologize me/excuse themselves on 29th that they had national holiday break and then weekend so they were off etc.

(Btw, Goddamn Gallows are really cool)

Does anyone here know when SP30 September batch are supposed to be hosted or shipped?

It's almost October.  Should be called October batch instead and the October batch are really November batch in reality.   It's off by a month.

Its the same with all manurfactuers , August batch shipped around 25-28 0f aug , why would sept batch be any different.
Incorrect. We're building, testing and shipping (or hosting) each day.

Guy,

Sorry for being an ass again but 48 hours have passed and still no reply to my e-mail.

Guy,

I have received no reply regarding the refund yet...
Please be patient. If you don't get a reply within 48 hours, ping again.

Guy

Anyway, your refund is being processed. Due to the Jewish New Year Holiday, it will take up to 7 business days for you to see the refund in your account.

Incorrect. Without getting into your specific history case (not that interesting, but if some is interested, the details are few pages back), every "special" non streamlined case causes quite a lot of work for us. We're very busy with fulfilling customers orders and "special" cases are getting second priority.

Does anyone know if it's possible to restore a microSD card used for SPXX recovery back to its normal state? Right now I only have a 300MB partition on my microSD card.

Try this, should work.
On Windows, you can use DiskPart command line and then:
list disk
select disk X
list partition
select partition Y
delete partition

and the create partition (use help command)

Thank you. Not reading the card in a laptop. Will try tomorrow with a card reader.

Reformat the sucker!

Edit: In Minepeon you have the minimal list of tools / executables, and fdisk is not there.

How could I forget about Partition Magic? This solved it!

Couldn't format because I was seeing only a ~300MB partition and nothing else. PM did the trick.

Zvi was posting in the tech blog that only the /etc/; /mnt/mmc-* ; /mnt/sd-* ; directories are non volatile. Others are lost after boot.
If I understand the things right, the "volatile" part is actually a RAMDISK, and if the disk size was bigger, the controller would not have enough memory for it Smiley therefore the disk size is a little small  Grin .. This setup helps decreasing the actual number of non-volatile writes .. so the units work longer. You won't want the 1 minute updates written on a piece of hardware .. else those memories will go "poof" in 3 weeks.

Edit: Is someone looking for a way to manually switch pools from the miner console (sp10-SP31) ?

Guy

You have just confirmed it was deliberate by admitting moving my case to 2nd priority.
Considering that you knew that there is New Year coming and there will be no option of refudning me in the mean time it should have been done before the holiday period. At least you are honest about it.

Anyway, well, now at least, I have got at some information.
Couldn't have it been easier if I was told right away that it will be refunded in 7 days instead of vaguely saying that it wil be soem time in October?

SP-Tech is the best in hosting service and miners.  I don't get why you would want a refund.

Guy or Katya has always answered my emails within 10 minutes or less, even if it's like zero-dark thirty in Israel.  I don't know if they ever sleep at all.

Not sure what you did to piss him off but it shows when he doesn't reply to you that fast.  Be courteous.
