But it might all be moot; now I'm hearing that Brady (and his dad) have come out and said that the news of his retirement isn't true. Maybe Gisele Bundchen leaked a fake story to ESPN? Who knows what's really going on, but I guess we'll know soon enough.
Unless Brady comes out in a press conference stating that he is retiring then I am not believing that guy is retiring, to be honest I think is more likely that Brady somehow gets to an agreement with the Bucs and he is released as a free agent and then he tries to find yet another team to win the SB than this whole idea of retirement, after all the Bucs are set to lose a great deal of veteran free agents so their chances for another SB run will be lower, and now that he has shown his ability to win a SB without Belichick he may find more interested teams than two years ago. I have to say, after 22 seasons, 10 super bowls, 7 titles, it was due time for him to just retire. He is 44 years old and after playing such a hardcore hard hitting game for 22 seasons, his body must be aching to retire and relax a bit. He could just go to some beach place, like maybe wherever is more tropical and hot each month, 12 different locations (based on where would be better) and take a whole year off relaxing on a beach somewhere without doing anything, literally wake up get a breakfast and chill on the beach and relax. That could be also done on a yacht as well. This dude deserved to relax but people like him do not like to relax all the time, so I am guessing he may actually take up another thing to work on, even if it is not physical work.

Going forward the afc run by the likes of Josh Allen, Joe burrow, pat mahomes, Justin Herbert, etc...gonna be a fun 5-10 years I think watching this division run. Cmon 49ers. Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited for Superbowl LVI: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams. Doesn't that sound great? Even though probably nobody expected this matchup to happen. Source: bwin.de, Superbowl odds A @2.55 on Cincinnati doesn't sound so bad after all. But with my run so far, I'm going to lose a lot of money here.

source: https://twitter.com/billbarnwell/status/1488175687064244236I couldn't see it on the live broadcast but it appears Mahomes had Kelce open in the endzone for a good 2 seconds on their final drive/throw in regulation...and he was looking at that direction. I still can't believe the Bengals made the comeback but that stop they had at the end of the first half was a game/momentum changer. Last week Mahomoes saved their season in 13 seconds, yesterday it took him 10 seconds in OT to throw that second pick...and for someone who was rooting for the Bills, this feels like sweet revenge. No Brittany or Jackson Mahomes for the next 2-3 weeks is pure bliss. lol 2022 is the year of the 🐅 (according to the Chinese zodiac), i'm just saying. haha 49ers with just two second-half TD (offensive) in those three post-season games, it sure ain't enough. I can't feel sorry for them, you can't have the defense/special teams and Deebo bail you out every single time. Early lean, Rams gonna win by at least a touchdown. The current spread of -4/4.5 is extremely tempting, though i will be rooting for the underdogs once again.

This one should be almost even to me. The Rams escaped the bucs comeback, barely kept up with a 49ers team who has had trouble scoring. Only real edge i see is the trenches with the Rams d line versus the bengles o line. If the o line can hold together the Rams are going to have issues containing all of the bengle weapons. Should be an exciting finish to the season.

Going to Super Bowl thanks to a kick... that is really not the way to go but hey! they were the ones that took it that far. I really wanted to see Chiefs, Mahomes wasn't horrible to be fair, he did alright but he could have done better and he just took too much time whenever he couldn't seen an option.
I do not know, maybe it was rest of the offense that couldn't get open, or maybe the bengal's defence was way too good, but I rarely get to see QB's taking that much time, so Mahomes could have done a bit better, but I wouldn't put this loss on him. Bengals definitely won this game, Chiefs didn't lose it. By that I mean not like Kansas played horribly and Bengals won thanks to that, Kansas played amazing if you ask me but Bengals played even better, that is how they won.

Brady could do it if he wanted, but then we need to wonder why he hasn’t? And to me it is obviuos the guy loves the game and if possible he would never retire, at this point taking into account how well he played at 44 I think we are reaching the point in which Brady will not retire because of a drop on his game but due to injury or his wife and family issuing him an ultimatum. What a comeback by Bengals. I'm extremely happy that I didn't bet on SB this year, there is no chance I could have predicted this You arent alone I don't know how you could. Bengles 49ers replay of 1988 who would have thought!! It will be interesting but at the same time they will block and hinder each other, the NFC also has some talent at QB but it seems that most of QB the talent is concentrated on the AFC, so they will have problems reaching the SB consistently, still as a fan I cannot really complain as I am looking forward to it.

It appears those articles that were published about Tom Brady’s retirement were fake news hehe. However, the skeptical me thinks that there might be something being planned behind this. Does Brady want to leave Tampa Bay and force a trade somewhere with warmer weather for his last season? Is he not from the Bay Area hehehehe? My speculation, Jimmy Garoppolo will be traded to Tampa Bay, Tom Brady will go to San Francisco. NFL experts, is this out of the question? A report broke Saturday suggesting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback would retire from the NFL after 22 seasons. That report was refuted by Brady's father, and questioned by members of the Bucs' front office, who said Brady did not speak to them about his decision.
Brady's agent, Don Yee, did not refute the report, but said Brady would be the one to announce his plans.Source https://sports.yahoo.com/tom-brady-breaks-silence-on-retirement-rumors-im-still-going-through-the-process-003825766.html

Doesn't get much warmer than Tampa Bay: This is the coldest time of the year. Seriously though, I don't see what he has left to prove that would be worth the risk of injury and/or humiliation in a possibly no-so-great team.

I lived in Tampa for 6 years and right now while my city of Chicago is getting absolutely pummeled with snow and shitty cold weather I do wonder why I left Tampa lol. That being said I think Tom wants to keep playing but he’s facing even more scrutiny than ever from his wife to quit football. She has wanted him to stop playing for years. The thing is he’s got at least 2-3 years left in him and I think that’s what’s driving him nuts inside. I mean dude is almost 45 and he’s going to be the runner up in MVP voting. I selfishly want to see a couple more years but will certainly understand if he retires ! Edit: and he’s officially retired the end of an unbelievable era

Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited for Superbowl LVI: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams. Doesn't that sound great? Even though probably nobody expected this matchup to happen. It'll be a good game, I'm sure. I predict a high-scoring game; neither team has a dominant defense, but both offenses have that Big-Play potential. Obviously I'm disappointed that the Niners didn't make it, but they did make it much further than I dreamed they would. After they started out 2-4, they went 8-3 for the rest of the season. Not a bad finish, and definitely speaks to our prospects next year. Seriously though, I don't see what he has left to prove that would be worth the risk of injury and/or humiliation in a possibly no-so-great team.
That's what I would be concerned about. His health comes off as a double edged sword right now, i.e. he's healthy enough to play, but at his age he's one severe injury away from ruining the next 10 years of his life. Joe Montana stubbornly played though a bad back injury, and was miserable for years as a result. Playing until your 44 and getting out with your health intact is huge win, even without the 7 rings. Edit: and he’s officially retired the end of an unbelievable era I just saw his tweet, I guess that's all she wrote. What an amazing, historic career, I'm glad I was around to witness it.

It will be an interesting SB no matter how we look at it, both teams have completely different philosophies, the Rams are a win now team, they have mortgaged their future so they could win a SB by trading their first round picks for veteran players which they need to pay now, while the Bengals are a young team with potential to be a contender for years, so lets see which philosophy wins out at the end. Brady’s reign of terror historical career is finally over, without a doubt as long as football is played he is going to be a point of reference for the sport, he is that important, however now I wonder will the HOF really make him wait for 5 years to get inducted? They need to make an exception and get him on the hall immediately.

He beat so many good teams and lost multiple times to the giants and the eagles. In all honesty I don't know if we will see someone so dominant in that position again in lifetime. With rules favoring offense and protecting the qb it might be easier but his grip on the position and competitiveness were/are amazing. Glad to see him go though lol.

That said Tom just announced on his instagram that he is officially retiring. So sad to see the legend go, but what a career he gave us! This is because conspiracy theories and speculations about where Tom Brady might be going during the off season would have been quite amusing hehehe. There will also be nothing to do for 6 months after the superbowl. In any case, are there conspiracy theories and speculations on where Aaron Rodgers might be going? It appears the Denver Broncos is always mentioned in news articles last year during off season and this year again. Perhaps the most important task for new Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett is finding a quarterback for a team that has struggled at the position since Peyton Manning retired after the 2015 season's Super Bowl.
Does Hackett know any good ones? Like maybe a veteran coming off a likely MVP season who has left open the possibility of starting anew and avoiding a potential rebuild with his salary cap-addled current team?
Hackett, of course, is coming from the Green Bay Packers, where he was the offensive coordinator the past three seasons.
It’s why this hire isn’t just a hire, but throws the Broncos into the mix for Aaron Rodgers, or at least speculation about Rodgers.Source https://sports.yahoo.com/broncos-hiring-nathaniel-hackett-puts-them-in-the-mix-for-aaron-rodgers-152444150.html

With rules favoring offense and protecting the qb it might be easier but his grip on the position and competitiveness were/are amazing. Glad to see him go though lol. That was something that I was wondering myself, if we’ll ever see another Brady. If there is anyone who could match his ridiculous career obviously that’s going to be Patrick Mahomes. Not sure if he can reach 7 super bowl wins though. Brady had more Super Bowls than any franchise, that’s just crazy lol

Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited for Superbowl LVI: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams. Doesn't that sound great? Even though probably nobody expected this matchup to happen.
I just saw his tweet, I guess that's all she wrote. What an amazing, historic career, I'm glad I was around to witness it.
Brady’s reign of terror historical career is finally over, without a doubt as long as football is played he is going to be a point of reference for the sport, he is that important, however now I wonder will the HOF really make him wait for 5 years to get inducted? They need to make an exception and get him on the hall immediately. Reign of terror lol. For everyone except the nfc east! Lol. Go figure crappies division by a long shot. Seems we are going to run into a qb heavy decade with some good young qbs. The problem is team consistency and health which gets a lot of players especially in football. The good thing they have going for them is in 5 years there will only be a 3 inch window that you can actually hit the qbs in. Maybe they will be wearing the red jerseys on GameDay and we get an average of 500 yards a game passing lol.
