Seriously?  Shit I better get crackin' if I want to get home in time.  It's been one of those frustratingly unproductive days at work.  Hell, the whole week seems to have been like this.  Running around busy as hell, and getting next to nothing done.

Why are there two games in competing time slots today?  And they seem to be starting a bit early, no?  I don't recall these odd hours last pre-season.

Hate nfl offseason seems like forever lol.

Lol, and it's shorter this year, but yeah pre-season always seems to elevate the anticipation of regular season.  Funny how that works.

Yep, this is the crappy game though.  Starters play only a couple set of downs and I think Mac Jones isn't even playing for the Patriots.  The next game the starters shoukd get at least a half of work in and is a bit more competitive.  But I care not...give me my football!!

I watched a little bit of that game and a little bit of some of the others on television yesterday. Of course I watched a little bit the Chicago Bears game. It was an ugly first half. The second half was better but of course by then all the starters had been pulled and the game was meaningless (not that the whole thing isn’t already).

The escrow address has been sent via mass-PM to all participants to preserve a modicum of privacy.  I have no objections to posting it in public if that's preferred.  Feel free to send payment whenever you feel like, but let's try to get payment in before the draft.  The next order of business is deciding on a date for the live draft.  I liked waiting until the Friday before the season starts, hopefully that works for everyone.

Did any of you guys watch the 9ers/Green Bay game last night?  It was fun to watch Trey Lance get some significant playing time.  I'm a bit less apprehensive about him starting for us this year after watching him last night.  I have a feeling we're going to be a measurable amount better at the QB position this year.

No we do not like this. We want to start the league with cheaper bitcoin and end the league with 5x higher bitcoin hehehe.

In any case, I also have no objections if it is publicly posted, however, I am also okay if some of you in the league want it in private. I also agree on waiting until the Friday before the season begins, similar to what we have done for NFL 2021-2022.

All good I like the Friday before the first games.  Gives the least amount of time ending up with a player on the ir before week one even starts.

And yeah I seen parts of the game but I wouldn't put too much stock into a preseason game.  For MLB it's kind of how the players will play but football, it's way different, most of the guys on the field in preseason won't even see the light of day during the regular season.

That's hilarious but I'd like to say knowing most people in ff like to gamble, I'm sure there are even worse stories about what managers do with the money.  I'd say probably a bunch of managers are paying out of pocket by the end of the year lol. At least this guy has probably killed it in years past.

I vote for Sept. 2, the last Friday before the week 1.  The first game of the season is Thursday Sept. 8.

I vote for Sept. 2, the last Friday before the week 1.  The first game of the season is Thursday Sept. 8.

Sept. 2 would be ideal, as close to the start of the season as possible. My hours are extremely flexible, i've no preference....anything between 6 and 10 Eastern (EST) would probably work.  We can finish the draft in about an hour if we are all present.

I can make that work if we are possibly able to set the draft a little earlier than that 9PM time slot. Worst comes to worst I think I could probably run two drafts at the same time but would rather not.

Have we picked a commissioner yet? We need to get the league established, e-mails out to everyone for signing up etc.

Interesting stores about Jimmy G.  I however don’t think that it will have any effect on his trade market. They will of course keep him as one of their players on the 53 man roster, as sooner or later someone is going to need his services and they will get a sold pay day in return (maybe a few picks, not sure they’ll get more than a 2/3rd rounder).

You piqued my curiosity so I decided to look for this and the only thing I can say is that it does exactly what it says on the tin, I am not so sure if that is a good thing or not but at least they fulfill their promises.

However when one user is asking for 69k Ethereums for one of those cryptodickbutts, I even have problems not laughing out loud when writing this , I can think of many more effective ways of carpe diem and dilapidate that money away.
