But as days or weeks passes by and Trump able to find good work or solution to control the outbreak, except that he will be on the Favorites again.
Come on people. Do you seriously expect Trump to not be one of the favorites at any point of time? He will remain the favorite despite his falling approval ratings in my opinion. Favorite of whom? The owner of the black markets? And other forms of group with unethical behavior? Seems like a fact to me, and yes he might be re-elected just because of those, oh well its better to be trump than hilary I suppose from the last election Anyways who might be others running for presidential position? Haven't known any whose a big shot I guess...

Bernie Sanders is suspending his presidential campaign with immediate effect. Lets see what this will do with the odds for the democratic nominee for Biden, it has been 1.16 during the day, but already coming down in the last minutes, being at 1.14 now. We should expect something around the 1.04 mark imo. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/04/08/politics/bernie-sanders-drops-out/index.html

See the language used in the article. It says Sanders "ended his presidential campaign". That means that he is not going to run as an independent against Biden/Trump (so whatever remote possibility we had for such a scenario, is now reduced to zero). He hasn't endorsed Biden, but that was expected. One thing to notice here is that at least on the outside, it looks as if there is no bad blood between Biden and Sanders (which is diametrically opposite to the scenario we had in 2016). So I guess most of those Sanders supporters who abstained or voted Jill Stein in 2016, will be voting for Biden this time. That said, I would be closely following both Biden and Sanders. Will Biden shift to the left, to attract Sanders followers? Or will he swing further to the center, to attract the moderate vote? And regarding Sanders, I want to see his reaction in the coming weeks. Will he remain out of media limelight? Or will he attack either Trump or Biden (or both)?

@tyKiwanuka it's not that often that I find out about the latest news around the world here in this forum (i don't use social media), so thx for the news (: Will Biden shift to the left, to attract Sanders followers? Or will he swing further to the center, to attract the moderate vote?
I honestly haven't read that many people saying " you know what, i'm gonna vote for Biden" prior to Sanders dropping out, so I'm also curious to see what he's going to do over the next few days/weeks. EDIT* there it is: https://twitter.com/JoeBiden/status/1247920858443714562With Biden as the main dem nominee, dems will definitely secure the african american vote now. I can already see the Obaba people jumping on that " Biden to win Election @2.00" right now Btw, what about the latino vote? Sanders had a massive support from the hispanic community, or at least that's what I read, but now that he's out of the race, where do you guys think the latino vote will go to?

Trump is the favorite?
Come on people. Do you seriously expect Trump to not be one of the favorites at any point of time?guess...
Yes, the incumbent will be the favorite most of the time. But then the US elections are a bit complex. It's not the popular vote, but the electoral vote which counts. And Trump do have a fair chance in some of the "battleground" states, such as Florida (29 electoral votes) and Ohio (18 electoral votes).
Florida is going to be the most crucial state. If Trump loses that state, then the elections are over for him.
I understand what you are trying to say mate, but IMO publicity also affects electors' decision. Well, assumed they still watch tv and read newspapers occasionally. Anyway, I think the support for Trump is still strong and it was proven by impeachment failure. I think democrats need stronger candidate and most importantly a fresh candidate. Not Hillary, Biden, et al.

I guess that Joe Biden, in my opinion, had a huge advantage in this 2020 election and Bernie Sanders is likely out of the picture because he already suspended his campaign on April 4, 2020, he has been the vice president of the United State from 2009 to 2017 if given a chance I think that Joe Biden could make a difference, Trump is in a pinch now because of the latest Pandemic this could be a fatal blow in his candidacy, but if given that the Pandemic would end up in a good way and may also give him credit about it he might have a bigger chance, but for me, Joe Biden might win given his background and experience in the service.

Betting on USA presidential election for 2020 should be easy in my own terms, because there are 2 core candidates in Trump and Biden. So you can outrightly bet on both top core candidates; or perhaps find an impossible odd; but to me elections don't have impossible.
OP, perhaps are there bets for other political positions in the coming election ?

So you can outrightly bet on both top core candidates; or perhaps find an impossible odd; but to me elections don't have impossible. You can place a wannabe surebet by betting on Trump/Biden, which pays around 7%, but it's of course no real surebet, since you are doomed if one of them withdraws or has to withdraw. And whoever would replace Trump/Biden is likely to be the next president imo, so you would lose both bets and turn something, that looked sure in the beginning, into a financial disaster. OP, perhaps are there bets for other political positions in the coming election ? Those I saw with the bookmakers are suspended/taken off for the moment. Betfair markets are always open and you can have a look there, if you are interested.

So maybe this election 2020 might be postponed. They really shouldn't be concerned about election right now, they should just set this aside for the time being.

The US election is something that sometimes defies common sense depending on the angle one is looking at it from. @op you have put up your position based on the candidate that appeals to you and the same candidate someone else have not heard about before. From my point of view, the election is between two parties and anyone that parties supported to become the flag bearer and since Trump is the flag bearer for the Republicans, then the battle is to the Democrats but I don't think they would want to sacrifice Biden at this time. Focusing in this age, this would probably the last time Biden would run should he not win, it would be difficult to try it again unlike the other candidate with several years ahead of him.

I don't know one by one of the candidates, but I wish Trump will not win in the next election because if he still wins, I cannot imagine what will happen with the USA and the other country. I wish that someone from the candidate's list can replace Trump's position, and he/she can be a good President for the USA, and he has a good knowledge to control everything in his government.

@op you have put up your position based on the candidate that appeals to you and the same candidate someone else have not heard about before. Yes, correct, but I am not the only who likes him and you have to take the odds into the equation. I wouldn't bet on Cuomo, if he was priced (way) lower. And while it feels better to bet on someone you like, emotions are no good ingredient with betting. I also had a bet on Trump in 2016, although I don't like him (but he entertains me^^). Just yesterday, Cuomo was interviewed by his brother again. He repeated, he is friends with Biden, he won't run for president etc., but his odds remain more or less stable (trading between 50-55). But he gets asked about running for president very often and this could turn into some wave/movement down the road, where pressure mounts for Biden - don't underestimate what the public and media can do, how they can build up sentiments and influence people in charge. For someone who is not interested at all in becoming the next president and who wasn't even in the mix some weeks ago, his odds are pretty low.

Until a solution to the deadly virus is out I do not think the elections will be held in the US. The idea is to promote social distancing, wherein with elections it is next to impossible to implement this concept. By the way who do you think will win the upcoming elections? Before Covid19 I felt Trump might win the elections but after seeing him handling the present situation I am doubtful about it. I don't know why this message has been gone, but to answer this, I think this is also the reason why Trump is desperate to get an access to the Private Laboratory in Germany to have a cure for his people and to continue the elections, maybe he is already sure that he will win this election 2020

Well... this is very tricky. First of all, the Latino vote is not a cohesive block (unlike the African American block or the Evangelical White vote block). They can be divided in to different subgroups, each of them with differing political views. I am saying this, because I have seen Latino groups in both camps of the immigration debate. And I have a feeling that as far as the political preferences are concerned, the US-born Latinos are rapidly shifting towards the non-Hispanic White block.

And Trump do have a fair chance in some of the "battleground" states, such as Florida (29 electoral votes) and Ohio (18 electoral votes). What Trump "did" in 2016 was just amazing, if that word makes any sense. He won a) all swing states and b) won states that had a long-ish history of being won by the Democrats. That was the entire fault of President Obama. The people were not happy with his presidency. Also, the information on the internet may have informed them to not listen to mainstream media anymore. Mainstream media is only another type of brainwashing, or to use facebook terminology, fake news to put you on the side of the people who create and run the storyboards.I don't think so. Main reason why Trump won is Hillary Clinton. She had so much issues and problems that average people simple didn't want to vote for her. Obama was one of the most popular US president in history. Many fake news on social media was created by Russian in order to help Trump to win Presidential elections. I disagree. Obama was not very popular among the people because he did not do the expected job during his terms. Hillary was only the sour icing on the cake. Why did Trump win the independent votes and some of the blue states? The people were disappointed, I reckon. In any case, let us wait for the announcement of Joe Biden's running mate and understand why he was chosen hehehehe. Hillary?

Odds for Biden democratic nominee went down to 1.08 after Sanders withdrew and now are being back to 1.14. Clintons odds have come down rather a lot (22 as we speak) and she is 2nd fav in that market. Source: https://orbitexch.com/customer/sport/market/1.128161111Next president odds for Trump have fallen below 2.00 too, so something going on there, but not sure what. Looks like there is some people speculating on a Hillary vs Trump duel, with Trump winning.

Atleast obama was much popular than Trump & Hillary. After Bill clinton american people got obama as one of the perfect president for their nation and still obama is much popular than recent candidates. As a super power USA is controlling entire world and maybe for that their citizen don't love to elect someone from feminine gender (history proven) . Thats why someone like Donald Trump made all prediction wrong on last election. Why did Trump win the independent votes and some of the blue states? The people were disappointed, I reckon.
Hillary clinton could be the main reason for his success. After publishing last presidential election result worldwide news media's were shocked and there is no way deny that trump got tremendous support from putin. That's why Hillary supporters still loves to call him russian president not ameican.
