PSG is not an exciting team to watch play football these days even with the A-list players in the squad, they really lack teamwork and there is no good connection between the players. Neymar is playing so terribly, Messi's performance is not top notch and mbappe is not efficient today. I don't know if to blame the the coach, because even with their extra man advantage, they are still not impressive. I'm not impressed by their performance.

The truth is I don't know how a team as strong as PSG has so many problems, in the first instance all or most of us thought that PSG would win practically all the games in the league and that there was no doubt of its supremacy, and that in reality it was leaving. to see the maximum potential in the UCL, but judging by the performance with Man City I think that the team still needs to understand its top gunners, both Neymar and Mbappé played for themselves, Messi gave them a game but they could not engage .

PSG are far ahead of all of their competitors in the Ligue 1 now. Their closest competitor seem like Rennes and even they are 12 points behind PSG. Having a this big point difference in only 15 matches is really fascinating and very valuable for PSG. Of course, Rennes or some other team can upset the balances at some point. But it seems to me like a far possibility truthfully.

With a large difference in points, of course it will be very impossible for other teams, even the team in second place to catch PSG, I think PSG will be able to celebrate the championship before this season competition is over, maybe they will be able lock the cup before 10 or 15 matches the end of the competition.

Obviously, Nice will be difficult to win at Parc des Princes but I'm sure Nice will still put up a tough fight for the home team and of course PSG will still not be able to win with clean sheets.

I have just checked a couple of bookmakers (I can only check local ones since I am at work and I need a VPN) and I see that PSG is top five contenders for winning the Champions League. Yes, PSG are in 5th place and are quoted quite low, but isn't that justified by their weak performance? They have great performance in the home championship (but we all know that doesn't mean anything) and modest in the Champions League. In my opinion, their assessment corresponds to their real chances.

Ah that must have changed then since I last checked. They were in top 5 pre-season, but were 6th favourite when I looked mid-way. It's not just group finishing I think, PSG should go far but I think they just can't see them even reaching a final. Maybe odds have shifted once more now, and that's perhaps because of post-international club performance.

Again, bookies odds correspond to pundit analyses but okay, even 5th place seems too low for a team with a chockful of talents... and Ramos fit again yeah?

My predictions for the mid week games in the French league

Angers 1-2  Monaco. Brest 1-2 saith Etienne
Metz 0-1 Montpellier. Strasbourg 1-1  Bordeaux
Troyes 2-0 Lorient . Clermont 0-0 Lens.

The difference in points is quite far owned by PSG, they are comfortable in first place with 40 points. That's a 12-point gap with Rennes in 2nd place. It is good for their business point of view but this year we are having some good teams with very good results like Ajax, Liverpool and Chelsea with outsider Real Madrid these all having very juicy odds for winning and these can do this year as well.

For PSG we all know having serious issues with many big names in team but still not doing as fans were expecting and surely this year these big three teams have very fewer chances for winning title.

I would say even with the current situation, I would put PSG at second right now. City is at first for me and PSG is at the second, with Bayern coming in at third but you could change PSG and bayern if you want to and it wouldn't be too much of a difference.

What I believe however is the fact that we could potentially have a situation where we could see something a lot more important in this case. Don't get me wrong the odds are very important as well, but we are going to see some tough matchups very early on because of so many teams being good which means we are going to have at least one team who had a good chance end up eliminated even before quarter finals. This does happen time to time but it is not very common. Which is why I believe that we should be looking out on the matchups, that is going to decide on so many things if we could let them.

Yes, the chances of such experienced cup fighters as Chelsea and Real look like clearly erroneous, it's a pity that the distance of the tournament is too great - I have no desire to freeze my money for such a period of time to get only a couple of tens of percent of the profit.
Today I'm expecting a repetition of the PSG pattern: an unsuccessful start and a hard victory in the last minutes, if it works out I'll bet, the opponent is pretty serious, so the odds will be good.
