PSG - Monaco game is going on right now. And PSG are 1-0 ahead now by Mbappe's goal by a penalty. But Monaco are also playing good comparing the performances so far. This means that they can equalize the score anytime also. But if PSG act before them and score the second one, I don't think that Monaco would be able to make a comeback then. We know how strong PSG are when they have a great deal of advantage. It is not easy to turn the game around against them in such cases.

Even though Paris didn't really deliver in a convincing way recently, I still believe that they will take this game home. Monaco is by far not as good as they were during the last season. In fact they are much weaker and I don't see them contending for the CL qualifiers either. We'll see how the game ends today, but my guess is a win for PSG.

Match just ended with one-sided affair in favour of PSG now they have good and healthy lead for this year's title and Monaco play good but suffer first win after few matches, but they play good game against quality opponents.

Now, French League is getting shape which is mostly in favor of PSG with some good lead and for other spots we will have very good fight as Lille is also having some better results recently after very poor start of season with Marseille is also improving their fight for second spot which is mostly belonged to them but for other spots we will have some good fight between some good number of teams with good players and some want to improve their squads they are spending money and bringing quality players for French League.

it is now getting shape? It already did weeks ago. There is a literally zero % chance that PSG is not going to win the season title. There just is no chance. The contenders aren't delivering on a weekly basis and even that would be the maximum need to do and would still have no chance probably. PSG is just a superpower that will win season after season. That is even worse than Bayern in Germany.

yesterday I talked about how ligue 1 is missing good players and good teams that can compete with PSG,and it is definitely worse than Bayern munich in bundesliga, Marseille are the only competitor so far and they still have very small chances to do something.

PSG have a really extraordinary dominance in the Ligue 1 now. They hosted Monaco today and obtained another victory in their home game by 2-0. I thought like maybe Monaco would cause them to stumble considering Monaco's recent good form. But it didn't happen. PSG players were so determined to win that they finished the job in the first half. Mbappe and Messi are the best for them now. Their incredible efforts help them move every obstacle they come across out of their way one by one. And it seems like they are going to be the Ligue 1 champions by dominating the season completely.

Messi and Mbappe both had a killer game against Monaco, while PSG's performance was stellar! The penalty was given to Mbappe by Messi and he assisted him as well. Simply amazing. Both players are at the top of their game. If Messi scored, it would be spectacular. The continued contribution of Mbappe and Messi is always great to see.

The Rennes vs Nice game was another delightful game of the weekend. And Rennes got a disappointing loss in their home game by 1-2. And I think that Nice were lucky at the same time. Because we can clearly see from the statistics that Rennes played much more dominantly. They had so many chances to score but only one of them ended by a goal. And this crucial victory helped Nice to close the point difference more with Rennes. They are one point behind them now.

In the opening match of the week, Nantes defeated Lens 3-2.  The winning goals for Nantes came from Kolo (2) and Simon in the 90th minute.  They were behind 2-0 in the first half and made a very good comeback.  congratulations nantes

I predicted Lille to defeat Lyon but they couldn't succeed in doing that. And honestly, it was a really poor match that I got bored and closed the match after watching the first half. And I don't regret it as there was still no goal at the end of the match. Lille were on the rise actually and they would have beaten Lyon too. Despite having a poor form, Lyon still resisted Lille and got the point they wanted.

And Monaco's positive look ended today after the match vs PSG in Parc des Princes. Monaco didn't have a big chance to win or draw with PSG here in the first place. But I don't think that they performed poorly vs PSG. In fact, they got more shots than PSG but none of them ended up with a goal. And the result was 2-0 being in favour of PSG. Mbappe - Messi duo was really great.

Monaco team performed really well and in my opinion the final result was a bit unfair for them they deserved atleast to score on the second half psg on the otherhand keeps geting points but without a convincing performance considering the squad they have.

I don't expect much from PSG despite having led the Ligue 1 standings by a sizeable difference in points with their current competitors. The unstable performance makes this team unseeded if the next opponent is Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen or other big teams in the Champions League. Messi does make a difference for their team, but the communication between the players has not been good because I think there is an ego to defend. Messi and Mbappe have started to show good cooperation in some match, but that's not enough for now.

PSG need to have better teamwork to reach the Champions League final, but I'm not sure this season they can achieve it if the team's performances don't improve.

This is probably the worst season for St Etienne.
Apart from being stranded in the last position of Ligue 1, they are also the team that has conceded the most goals and now 37 goals have been scored against them during Ligue 1 this season.
Their performance did not improve and even tended to decline even more.
with results like this continue I really doubt they will be able to survive in the top caste of the French league and will be thrown into ligue 2

Currently, St Etienne is the worst team into French League with the worst defense and very poor attack currently with their way of playing looking like they are going to be relegated as they have no signs of good play in last few games just half of this season is going to end, and they are 20th place mean they need some magical things for doing some better and improvement which need some good funds and better management.

In another match Brest ruined by Montpellier 0 - 4 which end their very good run of wins, but this defeat is worst after having too many wins in their pocket for last one month.

maybe indeed they have no hope of being in ligue 1 and inevitably have to go down to ligue 2 because it is very difficult for them to be able to compete now. The last 4 matches ended in defeat with only one goal scored against PSG and their goal was bombarded with 10 goals from the last 4 matches.

actually I still expect brest in this match but indeed Monpellier is still too strong. This is their first loss after 8 matches they are unbeaten

An important game for marseille yesterday put them on the second position with 32 points after winning away against strasbourg when it didnt seem that they will win in the first half they managed to score two goals despite the good performance the other team showed but they need to stop their points loss at home if they want to stay on that second position.

PSG did the thing just as I expected and put an end to their 2-game draw streak. They had a home game against Monaco and got past them successfully by a 2-0 victory. Mbappe is really an invaluable player for PSG now. He is the most performing player of the team currently. I checked his statistics in the Ligue 1 so far and saw this: he got 9 goals and 8 assists in 17 games. And he is performing awesome in the CL too. PSG will really miss him as he will leave the team this summer most probably.

Surely in the soccer world no person has any doubt about their win into French League title, but now after having Real Madrid against them into knock out stage is a massive threat for them because Real Madrid is one of most tough sides currently, and they can beat this PSG team here in this match. Right now, they need to check all their weaknesses and then start preparation for this match because if they want to win the UEFA Champions League then surely they need some aggressive policy and having a good playing combination is best, otherwise Real Madrid is a team which will never allow any opponent to have something against them seriously.

the french league hasn't had much competition, PSG has almost no opponent in the french league and when PSG loses in the french league it's just because they made a mistake and not because the opponent was strong, but in the champions league they have to play against strong opponents and in this part where they find great difficulties, I'm a PSG and real madrid fan, but I'll root for real madrid

I would not resort to such loud words about the preliminary final in the match between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. There are still several clubs in the Champions League that at this point in time look at least as good as Real Madrid and PSG, and in some ways even better. The only thing I can agree about is that now the elimination games have started and each stage turns into a mini-final, where you only need to win otherwise it means the preliminary end of the international calendar for the club. And if Paris Saint-Germain is the undisputed and undisputed favorite in the French championship, then this cannot be said about the Champions League.
