We have less than three hours left for the Marseille - Lille game in the Ligue 1. This is an important game for Marseille to maintain a winning streak and not to let PSG open the point gap more. Lille is still a serious opponent for Marseille even though Lille are quite away from their performance in last season. Lille are not playing like in the season that they were the champions unfortunately. They could have been close to that performance at least. I still expect a competitive game but I guess Marseille would win by a one-goal gap.

Lille lead 1-0 in the first half.  Botman scored in the 15th minute. Andre, on the other hand, was out of the game with a red card, as he should never have done. Marseille could dominate the Lille castle in the second half. If I come to predict the outcome of the match, I think Marseille will win 2-1. For them, these three points are vital.

We know Rennes is on fire this season and Bordeaux is having their one of the worst but I still expect them to stay in the league. Maybe they can sell some of their high profile players that don't show the expected performance in this transfer window. Only three wins in twenty one matches is not acceptable for a team like that.

Indeed it was not expected and the red card they took made it worse they played an entire second half with 10 against one of the best attacks on ligue one they are not the same anymore i ve never seen such a weak bordeaux in a while some players are inexperinced and they lack good quality player they need enhancements in almost every position.

Although, Montpellier got a red card while Strasbourg took good advantage of the situation. Because Strasbourg scored their 3 goals after the red card. However, Strasbourg are now at the 7th place on the standings and also a point ahead of Montpellier.

Marseille got a disappointing result against Lille today. Lille got ahead first and got a red card also in the 32nd minute already. This meant that Lille were going to play with ten players for at least an hour. This could have turned to a nightmare for Lille. But they should be very grateful that Marseille were able to score the equalizer in the last fifteen minutes barely and they couldn't score the second one. This 1-1 draw was good for Lille as they were playing as one man less. But Marseille missed the chance of keeping up with PSG to prevent the gap from opening.

One of the most Interesting match today was Strasbourg Vs Montpellier. However, Strasbourg are now at the 7th place on the standings and also a point ahead of Montpellier.

Although I am not a fan of Strasbourg and Montpellier, I must admit that the Strasbourg vs Montpellier match is very interesting to watch.
In addition to the two teams having almost the same quality of players, both teams are also struggling to enter the top 5. Therefore both teams
tried to win the match, but it must be admitted that Strasbourg played really well in the second half. Moreover, they managed to take
advantage of Montpellier's error who got a red card in the 66th minute, and Montpellier had to pay for they mistakes by losing. Because
Strasbourg managed to score three goals after Montpellier only played with 10 players. This makes Montpellier's winning streak must end
in Ligue 1, whereas previously Montpellier had won 4 times in a row. This should also be a lesson for Montpellier to be more careful with
the emotions of his players on the field, especially when they have excelled first, don't make a pretty fatal mistake.

After a five-week break, Lyon finally won a match. Before this victory, they lost one match and got draws in all of their last four matches too. They were in need of a win and made it against Troyes today. Maybe it was a hard-fought win by 1-0 but Lyon still performed much bigger which was really important. Lyon are still struggling to climb to the upper positions in the standings. They are just far away from their effort in the past season. They should be happy even if they make it to the 5th position at the end of the season. They can at least join the ECL by doing it.

Marseille and Lille played in a draw, which is not a good result for either Marseille or Lille. Considering that Paris Saint-Germain and, even more significantly, Nice won their matches, this result further distances Marseille from PSG and leveled the advantage over Nice in terms of lost points in the standings. Lille lost the chance to get closer to Marseille in the tournament, which always allows a face-to-face meeting. On the other hand, the teams have maintained the status quo among themselves. Paris really can not worry about the competitors' games yet, given the gap the club has secured for itself. At least ten points of advantage are a solid foundation in the fight for the title.

I hoped to see Marseille defeating Lille yesterday but they were incapable of doing it. Actually, they could have done this after Lille got a red card earlier in the match. But they scored the equalizing goal so late that they had not much time left for the final whistle. I think that Marseille could have won this match if they were able to score earlier in the second half at least. And Nice must be happy about this result as they are maintaining being the 2nd in the standings now. Maybe Marseille have one missing match to be played but the point difference is two between them. It is not a big deal for Nice I mean.

Marseille failed to take advantage of the advantage in the number of players in that match, even though they should have been able to take advantage of it to be able to win and stick to Nice who is in second place in the French league standings, despite playing with a shortage of players, but in fact Lille managed to press marseille every once in a while , despite winning in possession, but poor finishing from marseille players meant they now have to settle for third place with 37 points from 20 games.

It was a terrible result for marseille because it was against a 10 men team and now they can even lose the second position to nice which is to be expected since their results are inconsistent and they lose too much points at home.

Even French League most teams are unpredictable but still surely it's terrible from Marseille side because they have some good advantage for 1 hour and playing at home but still fail to have any advantage from 10 men another struggling club Lille which mean now it's wide open for few teams to reach at top 5 teams.

Marseille is still having one match in hands and gap is also just two point from second seed Nice, but now it looks very interesting with Monaco is also improving their form for some better result and Rennes is also having good time as they thrash Bordeaux by 6 - 0, so now these all need some very good and positive results for having better end of this season.

OM missed a chance to keep a potential 8 points gap from PSG with their draw against Lille although playing most of the game with 10 players. PSG is blessed with such competitors..
OM has to play seriously in the French Cup so they can achieve something this season but I have my worries about them.

Marseille have been wasting so many chances so far. PSG lost too many points recently actually but Marseille still couldn't take advantage of it. They had one of their biggest chance in the Lille game as their competitor played with one less player for an hour. But Marseille still had a big problem on even finding the equalizer. It came later in the game and Lille defended them really well in the remaining minutes of the game. And this was another disappointment for Marseille. I don't see any other team rather than PSG that deserve to win the championship now.

Despite forming a squad with second tier players, PSG played very well. Since their main players were not in the squad, they tried to keep the ball in possession in this match. This strategy was justified. Moreover, every player of the team has tried to perform well enough. But Mbappe's performance was awesome. He has a total of 8 shots. If Mbappe can play well, it will be difficult for the opponent to resist the PSG team.

I think PSG should be able to ultimatum Mbappe now to take a firm stance, because if Mbappe really doesn't want to extend his contract, it's better for PSG to sell him in the current transfer market, than in June Mbappe will be a free transfer and of course PSG won't will get a money from the departure of Mbappe, even without Mbappe, I think PSG front line will still be dangerous because they still have Dimaria, Neymar, Icardi and Messi, so maybe losing Mbappe will not affect PSG front line too much ,  I think by selling Mbappe PSG still has the opportunity to use the money to look for other players who can replace Mbappe's position later.

Strasbourg is a realy tough team and they are fun to watch they play realy good and we see them always dominate their opponent they deserve the win against montpellier they have thomasson and ludovic duo the two of them managed to score 17 goals and 9 assists which makes them involved in more than 50% of their team goals.
