It was a very entertaining match. Newcastle team had a great performance in the home match. Their performance was very composed from the start of the match. Newcastle players played well. Even then I thought the match would probably be a draw. But Arsenal's players failed to break Newcastle's strong defense. Although Newcastle did not play well at the beginning of the season, this team is in very good form. They have managed to maintain consistency like last season.
Arsenal and Newcastle United have different beginnings in this season but Newcastle United, after poor start now only have four points less than Arsenal. They are ready to enter top four in next few weeks if they continue to play well and Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa have bad results in coming weeks.

Table shows under Newcastle United, there are Brighton and Manchester United with 18 points. Brighton don't have stable performance but it is already too good for a small club like them. They are continuing to repeat their success in the last season and can have another successful season with a qualified ticket at the end to join Europa League or Conference League in Europe.

Quote
On the other hand, Arsenal lost 5 points in the last three matches and fell behind in the title race. It's been easy for Tottenham to retake the top spot in the table. Tottenham will go top of the table if they beat Chelsea in their next match.
Arsenal can argue that it is an unfair defeat for them but the match ended, result can not be reverted so they have to move on and play more carefully if they really want to compete for a first position. With good forms of Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool, any mistake and points lost can cause big problems for Arsenal in this tough race with other competitors.

Today's match wasn't fine due to how they made the goal decision. I was under the impression that Arsenal either won or drew, and because of self-interest, VAR cheated Arsenal by making a fictitious ruling.

In the initial VAR check for a possible ball outside the line, they act as though they saw nothing. In the second VAR check for a potential foul on Gabriel, the third VAR check for a potential offside, and the entire official team allowed the goal to stand. However, I'd like to know why they didn't let the referee go check on his own?

The refereeing decision was the main talking point yesterday and it’s disingenuous to push it to the background. I have come to the realization that the Premier League officiating won’t change. It will get worse. It’s become a business now and the people that should call it out are all hiding behind microphones. Sometimes I don’t like talking about all these ref/VAR issue. What we are seeing now is Nothing. The shit show has been on for 10+ years at least and it won't stop.

There were so many error scenes from VAR during the game but they somehow managed to overlook them. I don’t know how the VAR officials missed Bruno elbow, how they did not review the foul on Gabriel Magalhaes, but went for an offside is absolute shock, it seems like it was a mission to make Arsenal lose.
Arsenal was really into the game. They were the better side if you ask me. Yes there are things they could have done better attacking wise. But defensively they were on point. I think Arsenal did not lose that game because they did not play well. They lost that game because they were robbed. Simple as ABC.

Chelsea's instability will be tested again by tottenham. Yes, after being embarrassed by Brentford, chelsea faces a tough match in the 11th week. I don't have high hopes because Spurs surely want to snatch the top spot in the standings currently held by Man City. Spurs are still too strong for chelsea, and the likelihood of Tottenham Hotspur winning is very high. Maybe Son will be the central player in tonight's match against Chelsea.

I think the draw between chelsea and Arsenal a few weeks ago wasn't an improvement in Chelsea's performance but an unexpected drop in Arsenal's form, as they also lost to Newcastle. Arsenal's first loss was in the hands of Newcastle, which was a game I didn't predict. This solidifies my decision to bet on Tottenham's victory.

VAR was only giving the keypoint which thing that may possible to be checked but the determination will depend on the VAR operator itself. The operator was making the wrong decision and this is the main problem in VAR. I remember that the match against totenham too. Totenham's goal was not legitimate, but it was allowing it without even checking VAR. VAR is still having so many problems. The problem was not in its tech but it was on its operator. If operator was wrongly taking the wrong decision and that's clear if it will not be changed. Arsenal will still lose even though VAR will try to apologize for their decisions regarding it.

The main problem if any parties have its own agenda. People were starting to take a look at var caused by it was a goal but the different reaction when it was not a goal. People will not care so much with it.
This kind of situation is something common in the football. The dilemma regarding VAR system will still continue.

EPL needs this tech but at the same time this is also a boomeraing for the fairplay of this league.

Spurs are still too strong for chelsea, and the likelihood of Tottenham Hotspur winning is very high. Maybe Son will be the central player in tonight's match against Chelsea.

I predict this match will take place with tight tension. Firstly due to testing Chelsea's instability after getting unsatisfactory results this season. Second, because of Tottenham's desire to return to the top and maintain the positive trend that has not been defeated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Chelsea once lost with a score of 2-0 at Tottenham's new stadium and Chelsea doesn't want to get the same result again in this match.

I have provided predictions for the results of this two-team London derby match. A draw is the most likely outcome due to several considerations.
Another concern from me is that Chelsea might get a win amidst their unstable performance.
The performance of several Chelsea players such as Palmer and Enzo is what makes me think Chelsea is able to refute the perception that they are not what many people expect.

Newcastle actually played well and they deserve to win that match despite the controversies about the refree and VAR decision. However, losing once, twice, thrice or even more doesn't stop a club from getting the trophy if they are to get it. Even those who won it before lost games. Arsenal should just remain determined and focused. Almost all clubs have complained about the VAR in one way or the other and it changes nothing. In as much as the referee was wrong in awarding the goal, Arsenal goal keeper is also useless. He could have picked that ball easily because he saw it coming from afar only to fumble. Arteta's selections and poor subsbtitutions also contributed to that Arsenal loss yesterday.

Chelsea's instability will be tested again by tottenham. Yes, after being embarrassed by Brentford, chelsea faces a tough match in the 11th week. Hey! what date are you having in your calendar? Chelsea and Tottenham match is not today but on Monday night. Until after the match but I don't see Chelsea performing miracle in that match judging from their last performances and current form. Tottenham will surely wants to maintain their unbeaten streak. Chelsea and Tottenham match has been an interesting match to keep eye on but sadly this is not longer the Chelsea that we know.

The image shows it was out of play but we're only looking at it from the angle where the part of the ball touching the ground. I haven't seen a clear image that shows if the other side was completely over the line. I don't think the PL has that level of tech yet to prove without a shadow of a doubt if the ball is in or out. If it's inconclusive then the original call or non-call stands.

Pochettino will face his former club. It is quite fascinating to see how Pochettino still maintains a strong relationship with the Tottenham players. Im waiting for what kind of strategy that is going to be used by pochettino. No more jackson please.
This guy is just destroying the game of chelsea. Useless and overrated striker. Instead of Jack Son, it is necessary to include Broja in the starting line up. Im doubting chelsea will be playing with mudryk as a winger.
I would like to see this guy plays as a winger soon. Im sure that badiashile and reece james will be playing as starting line up. It will be so good if chelsea will able to give totenham its first lose.
Chelsea's assistance to the city in bridging the gap with competitors will be sincerely appreciated, and the city will be thankful for their efforts.

The likelihood of Totenham winning the game has made them the favorite, but ange's club should also be proactive in anticipating and countering pochettino's strategies. It seems like that chelsea will be coming using long ball.
Totenham needs only to use low blocks strategy, and this is enough in helping the club to win against chelsea.

Poor results and a game that did not improve much made the media guess a lot about Ten Hag's tenure at Man United. After last season a little bit of a change is pretty good. This season Man United have again played very badly. We understand that Ten Hag was brought to Man United because his vision is very good. Ten Hag has made many talented young players to enter the first team. Even in the second season ten Hag bought several Ajak players so that they could be successful. But to this day the plan failed. Even the purchase of man United players from Ajax did not have much influence on development. This problem continues and today Man United are very bad.
Erik Ten Hag should give more playing time for players on the bench, he's  planning to improve his squad, this is will take more time than expected. The Red Devils needs improvement in all round competition, that's the ultimate target of the board and they're not relenting until they achieved their aim. Manchester united trying everything possible to bounce back to good form. Winning today's game was just luck, because the Red Devils tried their best to make a difference, nothing changed until injury time when Bruno Fernandez gave his side the lead with a stunning kick into his opposition box.

Ten Hag may have reflected his vision on his previous teams, but he could not reflect it on Manchester United. The victory that Man United got against Fulham meant a lot to them. Not only does it maintain their chances in the Premier League, but this victory can increase their morale and self-confidence. Indeed, it was not their best performance but still, it is good progress and a good way to leave the negative trend behind. They still have a lot of work to do if they want to get back into the title race because if they continue to play like this, it will likely be difficult for them to break into the top 4.
Bruno Fernandes has provided a temporary respite for Ten Hag, but this hard-fought victory doesn't change the bigger picture. While Ten Hag may still believe that his players are fully behind him, it's clear that their performance has been lackluster, with just a few fortunate wins to show. Competing for titles this season seems like an impossible task for Manchester United; a more realistic goal would be to maintain their current ranking and secure a spot in the Europa League for the next season.
Overall, from every minute played in the match against Fullham, it was very clear that Man United's quality had really not recovered. Their performance is still far from the best performance they should be able to show. But in the second half Man United began to show better attack intensity and aggressiveness. And in the end Bruno Fernandes was able to become the hero in that match. Well that's 3 hard-won points. And I also agree that this can encourage the players' motivation and enthusiasm to be more confident in future matches.

Quote
There are rumors that Ten Hag punished Rashford for celebrating a birthday party after Man United lost to Man City.
This is the reality, not just a rumor. I believe it's an important acknowledgment of the situation. But why he was still in a cheerful mood after such a poor match?
Regarding this matter, it seems that it is just a rumor. And the truth is not as reported. Because Ten Heg himself seems to have clarified that he is not punishing Rashford just because of that. But Rashfors couldn't play against Fullham because Rashford suffered a minor injury in the training session before facing Fullham. So Rashford was absent and could only watch his friends from the stands.

I won't be surprised to see another referee get demoted to the championship again. Yesterday at St James' Park, I witnessed the ridiculous use of the VAR system. It was glaringly evident that the English football system won't change. I received this message from a friend, and everything he shared with me below accurately reflects what happened in the goal against Arsenal.

PGMOL have responded following today’s controversial decisions at St James’ Park.

On Bruno Guimaraes elbow: “He's not used his arm as a weapon, it's not nice but no more than a yellow card.”

On the Newcastle goal: “The ball looks out but we can't possibly give it from that angle.”

On the push on Gabriel: “There's two hands on Gabriel's back but we can't be sure it's a push.”

On Gordon being offside: “There's no conclusive evidence whether Gordan is behind the ball, so stick with onfield decision.”

Now I want you to understand that the problems within Manchester United has not just be manager issues but also from the owners, they need to leave the club but all attempts to do so has turned into deaf ears.
Despite the owners, Erik Ten Hag has his own personal flaws and he knows that. Let's hope they find them way to the top.  At times, I don't want the success of Manchester United because the owners end up making profits while tue fans who demands better never get what they want.

Shout out to Bruno Fernandez, maybe I should say that to Facundo Pellistri who made that runs into the penalty box with the ball.

On the push on Gabriel: “There's two hands on Gabriel's back but we can't be sure it's a push.”

On Gordon being offside: “There's no conclusive evidence whether Gordan is behind the ball, so stick with onfield decision.”

I only saw how much time they took when they made the decision about that goal and whether it was 1) a foul or 2) offside. The offside decision took too long in my opinion because it wasn't offside. But in general I think there is nothing to say against the VAR taking a lot of time to make the right decision, but it is confusing for sure. The commentator said they gave the goal because they have no conclusive evidence against it. That was word for word what he said.

Now when did this situation happen during the game in the above picture with the ball that was supposedly out? I missed that one but was it out 100%? I think it is a disgrace that there are still missing camera angles to make reliable decisions in the aftermaths. There is so much technology available and it could easily be upgraded where necessary that these things should not happen.

To be honest, I didn't watch this intense match and seeing the oddity of the VAR decisions made me a bit disappointed with this best league. VAR should be more careful in making decisions and they give the impression that they only benefit one party. They never learn like before and they still defend controversial decisions in this heated match. VAR was also carried out 3 times and took a lot of time, of course the players were very annoyed with this decision, especially the Arsenal players. Even Mikel Arteta was very disappointed with VAR's decision and expressed his anger by saying

Quote
"It was an embarrassment what happened and how the goal stood.

"I have been 20 years in this country and now I feel ashamed. It is an absolute disgrace."

Source: https://twitter.com/chriswheatley/status/1720893791802962344

Of course, if we were in a position like Mikel Arteta's, we would definitely be very annoyed and also express all the anger he was holding back. In the end, this result put Arsenal at a disadvantage with a difference of 3 points from Manchester City and a difference of 2 points from Spurs.

In the upcoming years I assume technology and artificial intelligence mainly will replace humans decision on such difficult situations at least.
There was several controversies but what I always say that Arsenal or any other team could play better and score other goals to avoid counting on risky decisions to save them from a defeat or a draw.
Newcastle did good in ending gunners winning strike which might move to the 5th place by the end of this round. Manchester City won big yesterday vs Bournemouth with 6 goals to 1 and get 3 points from them while Tottenham Hotspur could get away with 5 points if they succeed to defeat Chelsea today.
In this round there was other surprises like Sheffield United first victory, Brighton getting the draw at the end of the match vs Everton. Even Brentford 3 - 2 West Ham United was interesting with the many goals scored.

@Oluwa-btc while I agree there are injuries, new owner issues but what disappointed me the most was his poor tactics and his bizarre selections. Furthermore at any other club the sack would have come for him by now but till the owner’s see that they can qualify for the champions league next round they won’t sack him as it’s all about minting more money for them rather than achieve more success on the pitch.

Indeed what happened was very disappointing for Arsenal fans, but regardless of the final result, Arsenal still lost, even though it was painful This was their first defeat which they had to experience in an unfair way.
And on the other hand, Newcastle continues to prove that they are still strong this season, even though at the start of the season their performance had declined, but Newcastle is now able to get back up to be better.
It's a shame to experience quite a big disappointment in this match, I thought the two top Premier League teams would play fiercely with lots of goals scored but unfortunately that wasn't the case and I had to lose my bet in large amounts and I even lost my mix parlay which only lost the match This.

Quote
Hey! what date are you having in your calendar? Chelsea and Tottenham match is not today but on Monday night. Until after the match but I don't see Chelsea performing miracle in that match judging from their last performances and current form. Tottenham will surely wants to maintain their unbeaten streak. Chelsea and Tottenham match has been an interesting match to keep eye on but sadly this is not longer the Chelsea that we know.
Tottenham's match against Chelsea will be played on 7/11 meaning it will be played in the next 3 days.
The match will be played at Tottenham's home ground and Tottenham's performance is currently very good, making me think that there is not the slightest hope for Chelsea to get points in this match.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's performance is very bad.
I don't think this is an interesting match, it's a match between two teams that have quite significant quality.

Arsenal should have drawn that, some match officials and VAR have been poor from the start of the season. Newcastle anyways ended Arsenal's winning run.

On the other hand, Arsenal lost 5 points in the last three matches and fell behind in the title race. It's been easy for Tottenham to retake the top spot in the table. Tottenham will go top of the table if they beat Chelsea in their next match.
The game was very entertaining, I know arsenal was not able to score but they played well, too difficult for them to create a goals. I'm Arsenal fan I think they tried their best but they were not lucky in the game. Newcastle was ready to face arsenal in their home no matter the toughness of arsenal and they succeed not even playing draw with arsenal but managed to score a goal to gain a point.

But I think arsenal really needs to work very hard to increase their performance,  they always find it difficult to get a good result whenever they play match outside their home. Arsenal find the same challenge of scoring previous game they had with Chelsea bit they were lucky to score goal towards the ending of the match.

I was very shocked to see that the Newcastle United goal against Arsenal yesterday night was not disallowed by VAR because VAR checked on three things in that Newcastle United goal which are the possible ball going over, possible foul, and possible offside against Newcastle United. The VAR was very interested in checking for possible offside when they know too well that it is not an offside against Newcastle  United. The VAR should have focused more on the possible over against Newcastle United because VAR knew if they focused on the possible over the goal could have been disallowed but since they wanted the goal to stand they refused to focus more on reviewing the possible over which could give Arsenal a goal kick. I think they should work on VAR to deliver the right decisions at times.

Doku is playing really impressive, Manchester City's scouter is really good to find a player like Doku who only worth 19 Million Euros market value. Unlike other big clubs which sign popular player that can't perform e.g. Mount, Havertz, Onana, Jorginho, Antony, etc.

It's interesting because I'm hoping Newcastle to humiliate Chelsea aka a big club which play like a Championship club.
