The referee is the own that should be blamed because he has the final decision since he is the one in charge of the match and no one can do anything but to obey his decisions. The referee made Arsenal to loss all three points yesterday and this has affected their points. Newcastle were given an advantage on that decision maybe because they are playing at home, but it is was not called for. Arsenal was suppose to have scored since and this would have not happened. The referee should be questioned by FIFA.

It is truly okay to ask FIFA to go ahead in questioning the referee on his decisions yesterday. I wonder why or what is the essence of bringing the VAR referee into the game when after 4 solid minutes spent, the VAR decision was not yet final.

This is not the first time we are encountering cases like this where the VAR corruption is addressed standard and despite that the VAR referee was employed to further right the wrongs in the making and losing of goals, it's decision are not regarded final.

It was further speculated that the goal awarded by the referee yesterday was as a result of home advantage since Arsenal was playing the game as away. Regardless of what it is, you do not use a home advantage to validate a goal that was utterly criticized.

I am pretty much ashamed of Arsenal over their performance yesterday, first half was fine and averagely okay but during their second half, the likes of Harvertz were meant to br immediately substituted while Arsenal continues to hunt for goals but they slacked all through to the lost that caused them the 3 points.

I didn't know this guy before and was wondering where he comes from, but when I saw him playing I was really impressed by the speed he adds to the Manchester City game. He is extremely good in 1v1 dribblings and he is also a threat for the opponents as a scorer and he is good at preparing goals with his speed. I think this guy deserves to get his chances and he is always an option when someone like Grealish needs a break, is injured or maybe Guardiola decides to let him play because he offers a different style.

One thing I like about Pep Guardiola is that he always select the best and go for them,and even help them to improve more,this young lad is the future of Manchester City and he's going to help them achieve alot, I think he's a very good replacement for Mahrez cause he's young, skilled got speed and could play both flank,if only their neighbours Manchester United could imitate them and go for players that would suit their clubs standard them I think they'll go back to their glory days.

 With the way Doku is improving in every match he plays I think Pep Guardiola would consider giving him more chance than Grealish and instead of being a 2nd option they could be using him as a starter, because he's very impressive on the ball and got better skills and is faster than Grealish and the fact that he plays both flanks could also be threatening to Grealish starting.

The players of Liverpool might need to be wary of Luton Town stealing crucial points from them today when these two teams play against each other as Sheffield United had managed to secure a rare victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday from a penalty in additional time. Liverpool are performing much better this season as they are getting closer on their chase against other teams to the top of the table, I guess Liverpool should be able to secure a victory against Luton Town at the end of the match.

Thanks to his impressive performance when Manchester City managed to crush Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium, Jeremy Doku was included in the list as a player who contributed 4 assists in 1 match. On that list he is with other great players and this is a fantastic record for a young player who is shining and I think Manchester City was right to sign him last summer.

In this match, Jeremy Doku appeared as a starter replacing Jack Grealish, who seems to be being rested by Pep Guardiola ahead of next week's Champions League match. However, not only did he contribute with 4 assists in the match, but Jeremy Doku also scored a brace in this match. He is Manchester City's future player and it looks like Manchester City will continue to keep him.

To be honest didn't know him before this match either. Turns out he was bought from Rennes and as usual Manchester City's scouting department is doing a great job.
It is interesting that before that 4 assists per match were made mainly by Arsenal players, and in the season 21/22 Pogba and apparently this is the end of his playing career, and the main thing is that Doc did not happen to Pogba.
From the first games it seemed that the player is still young and not very experienced, but now after this match I think that his adaptation is practical.

Jérémy Doku is young talented for Pep Guardiola and I don't know him before joining with Manchester City in this season, still 21 years old but he was success take one regular position place under Pep Guardiola scheme. Last season, he played for Rennes as Ligue 1 team and smart scout talent make Jérémy Doku become special transfer for Manchester City. I doubt with Pep Guardiola signed players without popular name and play in Ligue 1 can't guarantee will get first or main position.
Actually Jérémy Doku have played 12 matches all competition for Manchester City, he has 8 cap in Premier League with 2 goals and 5 assists, in Champion League he played three matches with one goal and assists then he has performed in EFL Cup.

Every week in the epl there must be two or three very bad calls that should be obvious to see without the VAR but it's so sad that even with the VAR they still make the wrong decision.

The match between nottingham forest vs aston villa is still happening now. Forest is leading the game with 1-0 against aston villa. I can't even believe how forst was making fast goal against aston villa. Forest is now fully defensive against aston villa and the club is only doing counter attack once it was getting a chance. Forest needs to secure three points from aston villa but im not sure if this will be last till the end of game. Aston villa is quite strong at this moment. I think that villa will be able to equalize the goal before the end of first half.
Aston villa is leading the game with more ball possessions but it has not yet made even a single goal attempts to the nottingham forest. This is going to be an amazing result if forest will able to beat emery's club.
From what i can see that if villa was always struggling when it faces weak club.

The goal by Newcastle against Arsenal is illegal. I don't know what those VAR referees were doing. This is ridiculous.
There was a foul in attack, committed by the Newcastle player against the Arsenal player, which was close to the Arsenal goalkeeper.
This goal is a joke. This is the second time VAR is failing, after the Liverpool goal against Tottenham, which was unfairly denied.
Maybe VAR should be cancelled. VAR is doing more harm to the football than it goes any good.
Newcastle became a really strong team and they will have big influence in the Premier league, but the fair result of this game was 0-0.

When the game started I was anxious because Arsenal and Newcastle had a drag and am not happy with the way K. Havertz is playing i have never seen a player so low in confidence like him and does not make any serious contribution, look at the amount he was purchased. I don't really want to talk about Newcastle win over Arsenal because either arsenal was cheated or not a win is a win their is no argument about that. And once VAR have decided their nothing more to say so let's see the next club  that will be victim of VAR. I don't think they will cancel VAR because they are not seen anything wrong with it, so to them it is a solution to a problem not knowing that some times that thing is the problem it self. I don't see any irregularities, and or any mistakes that happened for the goal that Newcastle managed to make in the match. So, if Arsenal can't accept the goal, then Arsenal can't accept defeat because after all, the result is a result that has happened and the fact is Arsenal lost. That way, Newcastle managed to give Arsenal their first losing result this season. Also of course, these results at least show, that to be consistent with the winning streak is not easy and again Arsenal experienced this.

It's caused by the referee and operators were always taking the wrong decision regarding the result from their analyzation. It's such a huge mistake being made by the referee and this is not the first time.
I don't know how long the referee will try to repeat the same mistake over and over. Arsenal has become a club that is getting disadvantage at this moment.

Look at so many complaints towards the referee in the previous case but nothing happen. We are only wasting our energy to complaint about that.  Let those fucking referee was continuing to do their jobs.

So many times, the chief match official(referee) have made wrong calls and decisions which the players or team in general have to accept no matter what as it's in his power to make the final decisions. At thesame time we've seen some misinterpretation in the decision from the VAR by the on-field officials, all these make for little game errors which the consequences has too be faced.

 Arsenal were per say victim of circumstances on the part of game errors from the match official and it's cost them their unbeaten race. Their loss wasn't their own making but still the decision which has been made cannot be changed.
Technically, the errors has to be checked by the football association body and also the referees do their best ro avoid such wrong calls repeating itself, in some situations, it may seem as the referee robbing the team off their points which on a normal note is definitely very wrong. Basically, the referees have to check in themselves properly and also try to see that their decisions and that of the VAR aligns or has a soft landing.

That would be refreshing if Arsenal does at least reach the final. Whether they win it, that remains to be seen but having them in the final would be nice. I usually prefer final participants to be from different countries, but if it was Arsenal vs Manchester City, that would definitely be worth watching for many reasons.

Nope   I won't even watch this final because Arsenal's winning percentage against City is too low for me to hope to not be disappointed with the result. In general, it will be good if all the major clubs meet again before the final so that we can see two-legged confrontations, and as for the final, I would be glad to see two underdogs there. But as always, there is a possibility that instead of an interesting finale we will see a fight between the favorite and the underdog.

But I think the last final between Manchester City and Inter Milan was a great one. Like, it wasn't the standard thing like Real Madrid x Manchester City, but a team that many thought would have no chance, but Inter Milan gained more and more traction during the season and reached their peak at the end. I think this was a great final in regards to the participants' names but also to the roles they were given beforehand and then also how the game turned out to be eventually. There was an underdog somehow because everyone thought Manchester City would crush Inter Milan 3-0, but it was a final that I still think was a great show for all fans. And in a final I think Arsenal would have a chance.

Well let see how Manchester United will perform on there next match against FC Copenhagen although there last meeting was on the favour of Manchester United because of home advantage so let's see how there next will be since they would be playing from away, perhaps I think the match will end draw because there both performance are almost equal.

Today has seem unlucky for Aston villa as despite all their play they were unable to secure a win from the home they ended with no point the home team Nottingham were able to secure the complete three points at the end of the game today.

Although Aston villa still remains at the fifth position with twenty two point, Nottingham has be able to move to the 12th position with thirteen points , it's indeed a good day for Nottingham despite the fact that they seemed Aston villa played better but they had the points. According to stats, Aston villa led the ball possession and also had more goal attempts than Nottingham but the two halves was won by the home team.

Mauricio Pochettino have another test this season, one thing I'm proud of Chelsea is their formidable shape against elite teams. They stand strong and haven't lost any tough game, perhapes they have record few defeats against mediocre teams. Another test for the Blues on monday, they are facing Tottenham, we all know that they're on streak winnings and Angelos Postecoglou doesn't stood this far to compromise his chances, possibly not now they're among the serious contenders for EPL title. I'm looking forward to see the Blues to be responsible for Tottenham Hotspur first defeats of the season.

A mission that can be said to be very difficult, but it's not an impossible one. Tottenham will definitely be the favorites in this match, but I see that Chelsea still has a chance to steal points from Tottenham as long as they can play without enormous pressure and maintain their composure throughout the match.

The fact that a lot of Manchester United fans are celebrating their narrow win against Fulham yesterday I think tells how much the club has declined in form over the years and how the club fans are now very comfortable with the struggles that the team is currently passing through.
During the days of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, winning games against a team like Fulham was never a problem or a big deal but the club's general poor performances since he left the club in 2013 has got the fans used to being an average English Premier League team. The club management I think has really been poor with their management over the years and doesn't deserve to continue with the club.

the referee's performance was indeed unsatisfactory, with moments like Guimaraes seemingly grabbing Jorginho from behind. If the referee had spotted that moment, it would have likely warranted a red card for Guimaraes. However, it turns out VAR wasn't used.

From Newcastle's perspective, they felt aggrieved by the referee's decision to only give Havertz a yellow card. His hard tackle should have resulted in a red card and him being sent off the field. This has sparked a lot of discussion among Newcastle fans.

As mentioned earlier, there was another controversy regarding Gordon's goal, which was highly questionable. The FA should evaluate the referee's performance. There should be an improvement in the quality of referees in a top-tier league like the EPL. Fair matches always capture more attention than those with questionable officiating or perhaps filled with referee errors. The role of referees in a match is indeed crucial.
