Very incredible night for Brighton as the club is leading Tottenham Hotspur with 2 goals just within the first 28 minutes into the game, although the match time is still good and if tottenham team are able to make any equalization but as it stands, their chances for such possibilities is very slim and Brighton won't be giving them that chance.
Many of the time, we have seen how such matches that start in this nature end up favouring the losing team innthe early minutes, because Brighton players may slack and believe the match is already in their favour,  but then until the 99 minutes are over, no one can declare a game as over.

I would say that I am surprised about Brighton's performance tonight against Tottenham. Although the match is still on and the both teams will soon head to have 15mins rest for the second half. Where my surprises lie is that, Brighton has just won 1 out of their last 5 matches while Totenham has won their last 3 consecutive matches. People were expecting Tottenham to consolidate on their winnings.

@Odusko, talking about Tottenham coming from behind to win Brighton, I don't think it is an easy task. It is Manchester city that does that easily and the one done by Manchester United last match. It is not something easy to do. One goal is understandable, but two is hard to equalise and win.

I am also surprised myself because this is a game I thought Tottenham Hotspur will win with ease but reverse has been the case here, currently Brighton are winning 2-0 with 58 minutes played already, I agree with you that going by the statistics of this match I don't think Tottenham will be able to get a comeback, is as if they are already demystified with the by this 2 goals against them, however if they can get a goal, it will try to build back the confidence of the Tottenham team and then they might fight for a draw.

So, I think Tottenham will make the best use of the second half to reduce their deficit in today match. As for Son and Richarlison, They didn't play well enough in the first half and I hope they can play better to help the team avoid defeat in today match. But if Tottenham lose then they have given up the top 4 place to Manchester city.

In the last five matches between Brighton and Totenham, Totenham won four out the five game played, then brighton won only one, thatsi to to say that going by the history available, Tottenham will win the host team,  when we look at the both team recent form we will find out that the away team is in more good form than home team, though anything is possible in football, Brighton will like to close the gap of the history but I don't think that Tottenham is going to give them that chance, the away team might utilise the lapses of the home to win this match, I see the visiting winning ecsues the have all it takes to win this match.

Tottenham have lost consistency and ever since then they have been dangling with no stop both Tottenham and Brighton started well but along the line they are both placed in the same position, Brighton is already raining down on  Tottenham with two goals the same Pedro that gave assit for the first goal scored the penalty for Brighton and sometimes record don't work when it comes to predictions, because it might just fail. See whats happening Tottenham won four out of five and Brighton one out of five and see who taking the lead now in the game, and Brighton is already leading so my is even if Tottenham will score it only be one goal and if Tottenham should scored then the game will change because one their is no much time so Brighton will play a defensive game with them. Because they are already at 62 minutes of play so nothing much to display. I know a lot of people would have gone for a straight win for Tottenham.

The match seems to be tough already because West Ham are already leading with 1 goal in 13 minutes, which was scored by Soucek. although this is just the start of the game as they are still yet to even reach the quarter-finals of the match, it seems to me that West Ham seems to be much stronger than I expected. Seriously, West Ham dominates these matches. I can’t really predict what will happen as everything can change, but seriously, West Ham are doing well already.

However, let's see if Arsenal are going to take advantage of being at home and win West Ham in the flowing minutes of the match. I knew already when they got 2 goals down that things maybe would get even worse because of that saying that says the sun can be spotted early in the morning and if you watched the first half you saw a completely disorganized Tottenham as those players like Son and Richarlison should normally create quite some goal scoring opportunities.

Brighton on the other side is on a good night and for now for Tottenham is game over as they look completely surrendered now and I doubt they have the power to come back to fight just for that honor goal,no they look tired and without ideas.

It's an overwhelming and a  shocking poor performance by Spurs tonight in that first half. It's high time the young players on the bench be giving a chance to prove capabilities and skills. The midfield and defense of Tottenham tonight is really lagging behind in this game getting out-runned  by the Brighton's players all of the time.  If it continues this way on the second half more goals will be conceded by Tottenham.

Tottenham were basically the favorites in this match, but things didn't go according to initial plan. Ange Postecoglou has to think of several strategies that can make Tottemham win this match, but as far as the first half goes, I don't think Ange Postecoglou can do much. Brighton closed the first half with a win, which was good for them.

Ange Postecoglou and his team have struggled to penetrate Brighton's defense so far, so that was one issue he had to think about in the second half. Meanwhile, in another match, Arsenal trailed West Ham 0-1 through Tomáš Souček's goal. The referee finally approved Tomáš Souček's goal after reviewing VAR.

The second half of the game has kicked off and is already more than ten minutes played but the shoreline haven't still changed as Brighton are still leading by two goals to nil and are still even playing better.
Tottenham manager seems like he's not getting this one and probably doesn't know what to do at the moment to change the current scoreline. Considering the current performance of both teams in the game tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if Tottenham Hotspur concede more goals before the end the the game.

The two favorite teams to win the match are behind their opponents. Brighton really destroyed Tottenham's hopes today, Brighton even had a 3-0 lead at home. The match is not over yet, but Brighton can almost certainly win this match at home.

Arsenal is also 0-1 behind West Ham. Arsenal dominated this match with several good chances, but so far West Ham's defense has handled it well. West Ham did not attack or build attacks much, but West Ham was very dangerous when they were in their opponent's penalty area. Tottemhan was likely to lose after Brighton went 3-0 up, but Arsenal still had time to make lots of changes in the second half as long as West Ham didn't double their lead.

Arsenal - Westham match just begun and Arsenal is losing already, this is the reason why Arsenal have been finding it difficult to win the Premier League for a long time now like they will start well till a certain stage they will start flopping just imagine them conceding this early goal and they will be thinking of equalizing before even talking of winning which may be difficult for them because with the way the match is going i don't see Westham giving them that opportunity.

Regarding the incredible odds they gave for Arsenal and West Ham United and seeing the actual result, I am a bit perplexed. It is definitely nice to see gunners dropping points, eventually since only the first half passed, in order to see Manchester City equalising them since they have one missed game and they are 3 points behind.
It is true West Ham United are annoying a bit Arsenal but gunners missed few opportunities to score. I expect them to get the draw if Hammers will not add another goal.

In the other match, Tottenham Hotspur are humiliating themselves again apparently with only 15 minutes left on the game approximately and they are down with 4 goals to 0.. Epic fail Spurs

It's not that Tottenham lost, but it's really shocking that they conceded 4 goals. Brighton & Hove Albion are a good attacking team, they score goals in almost every match. It would have been normal for them to score 2-3 goals in this match, but they also scored the 4th.
What should Tottenham do from now on? Now they scored 2 goals but it's too late. They should have thought before playing so frivolously and conceding 4 goals. I expected it to be a difficult match for them, but they had a harder time than I expected.

Winning points become very important for Gunners as they're down by 1-0. Halftime and the scores is 1 nil. Good to see Westham leading in grand style against Gunners. We should give credits to Westham United players who have been serious all through the first halve and not giving any room for relenting efforts. Westham coach, David Moyes looking for three points at Emirate stadium, despite the heavy domination, they still have a way to scout out golden opportunities to net more goals in the second half. Westham United are not gigging because they would want the very best.

We really did not expect that Tottenham would be defeated like this although Tottenham is trying to catch up but it seems there is no time to do it, Tottenham has just scored 2 goals in 5 minutes in the 81st minute and 86 and now the match will end in 5 minutes really unlucky day for Tottenham. If Tottenham could do it since the first half might be a different situation at least they can equate the score. It's a shame that Tottenham had to end their winning streak in the previous 3 matches Tottenham should be able to compete with Manchester City and Aston Villa because they only need a few more points to get there especially Aston Villa has also just been defeated by Manchester United.

The VAR controversial moment should have not affected the game since it was an early situation in the match, Arsenal should have score equalizer before the end of the first half, but as it stands now, I think they will lose this match because scoring two goals will not easy within twenty minutes against West Ham. I think this is exactly how West Ham played against Manchester United and they got the results in that game as well. West ham United has just scored a second goal and going by your analogy of them being on the defensive side and trying to protect their defense, it will be very difficult for Arsenal to break in, this is 56 minutes of play, can Arsenal try to equalize these two goals and possible win this match, that I think will be near impossible because West ham have been pushing forward and it's more like their morale is being heightened up because of the second goal they've scored. If Arsenal could try and get a goal maybe it will also help them to put up a good fight before the end of the game.

This football thing is really shocking, how can Tottenham Hotspur a team that has been on fire lately be defeated by Brighton that have not been consistent this season with how they have performed in games. They conceeded four goals, lost the points and also the opportunity to be in fourth place ahead of Manchester City, just like Arsenal are loosing currently to West Ham. Maybe the players in these clubs (Tottenham and Arsenal) are already with their families for the new year in their hearts, and did not give the game all they could.
