In today's game against West Ham, it has occurred once more. Another game was called off, another VAR issue, but they refuse to consider it. I'm not sure why, whenever this happens to Arsenal, they always refuse to consider them. Nonetheless, we have hope for Arsenal because I noticed something that the West Ham first goal only came by an luck way. Let watch and see Since certain goals for Arsenal usually occur in the second half, let's see how the second half plays out.

Arsenal is already losing the match and West Ham will defend these two goals till the end.
The VAR controversial moment should have not affected the game since it was an early situation in the match, Arsenal should have score equalizer before the end of the first half, but as it stands now, I think they will lose this match because scoring two goals will not easy within twenty minutes against West Ham. It is a London Derby, and Arsenal have been winning in this same venue for long, I think it is not bad if West Ham win today.

I think this is exactly how West Ham played against Manchester United and they got the results in that game as well. Arsenal seem to be doing too much in front of goal, the players are being too stylish when they should be taking the shot. Arsenal need to start talking their chances in the second half. West Ham will do everything to defend their one goal lead, David Moyes style is more defensive than attacking.

West ham United has just scored a second goal and going by your analogy of them being on the defensive side and trying to protect their defense, it will be very difficult for Arsenal to break in, this is 56 minutes of play, can Arsenal try to equalize these two goals and possible win this match, that I think will be near impossible because West ham have been pushing forward and it's more like their morale is being heightened up because of the second goal they've scored. If Arsenal could try and get a goal maybe it will also help them to put up a good fight before the end of the game.

It's not that Tottenham lost, but it's really shocking that they conceded 4 goals.

This football thing is really shocking, how can Tottenham Hotspur a team that has been on fire lately be defeated by Brighton that have not been consistent this season with how they have performed in games. They conceeded four goals, lost the points and also the opportunity to be in fourth place ahead of Manchester City, just like Arsenal are loosing currently to West Ham. Maybe the players in these clubs (Tottenham and Arsenal) are already with their families for the new year in their hearts, and did not give the game all they could.

If there is something I expected from this fixture between Brighton & Spurs are goals because its goals galore when the festive season is here and both teams have been playful of late and fortunately both teams delivered in a 6 goal thriller..

Btw I didn't think Brighton had it in them to beat Tottenham especially since their form is inconsistent of late and credit to the bookies for leaning towards the Seagulls to be favourites.. which is well deserved!

It’s quite shocking to witness such a poor performance from Tottenham as they’ve now conceded 4 goals. Having just committed a foul inside the box, Brighton was awarded another penalty that has now given them the 4th goal in this game.
This game seems to be over for Spurs as it wouldn’t be easy to come back from this. I don’t see much chance of Spurs coming back from this. Son couldn’t do nothing for his team as they’re suffering a humiliating loss from Brighton.

We really did not expect that Tottenham would be defeated like this although Tottenham is trying to catch up but it seems there is no time to do it, Tottenham has just scored 2 goals in 5 minutes in the 81st minute and 86 and now the match will end in 5 minutes really unlucky day for Tottenham. If Tottenham could do it since the first half might be a different situation at least they can equate the score.

The game between Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur is over and contrary to my earlier prediction, Tottenham Hotspur were thrashed tonight despite having back some of their first team players that were earlier injured. Joao Pedro was Tottenham Hotspur's biggest threat of the night as he converted two penalties in the game.
Brighton will be very happy with the result and would definitely want to build their confidence from there as we are still in the very busy schedule time of the English Premier League clubs. With the result, I think it'll be very difficult did Tottenham to come back to the top four of the league table

Arsenal definitely knows if they want to be table till the end of the year they have to win this match but this does not mean West ham will be sleeping in the match. I guess we all can agree that Arsenal will win this match but I don't they will be topping the league for long, Liverpool more likely will be crown Epl champion, since City are far from their best and still continue to have injury woes

Arsenal's play is getting better right now. I'm not afraid of West Ham because I know Arsenal will do admirably against them. West Ham is a minor team from Arsenal's perspective, given their efforts and achieved the draw with Liverpool. When Arsenal plays West Ham today, they should be able to overtake Liverpool for the top standing. My prediction is that arsenal should score 2 goals so that we can get full three points make we able celebrate the new year with the first standing at the table.

Seems like the gunners must have partied and drank too much. I don't like how they've take this game so soft especially at home where they have not lost a good number of five games. I'm keeping my fingers crossed if they can finally comeback into the game to win or at least draw the game amd share a point. London derbis are like this, you'll either get to win or lose so prepare, the best side must definitely win the game at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur are really bottlers, so they think scoring two goals will help them get back into the game against Brighton? They're fucked up completely tonight.

It's an overwhelming and a  shocking poor performance by Spurs tonight in that first half. It's high time the young players on the bench be giving a chance to prove capabilities and skills. The midfield and defense of Tottenham tonight is really lagging behind in this game getting out-runned  by the Brighton's players all of the time.  If it continues this way on the second half more goals will be conceded by Tottenham.

Playing brighton at home will be very challenging for them since brighton is not an easy opponent especially as they have a lot of players missing out due to injury or suspension. Tottenham managed to pull two back but it was not enough as the damage done is too much. I believe if tottenham players missing out was available it would have been a different story, all i want to see now is the complete player that that started the season for spurs on the pitch again and see how they would perform.

Spurs lost but I'm not surprised, they weren't the favorite side of that game anyway. Arsenal is losing at home, this is surprising. West Ham is defending well so far.
Mavropanos scored for the first time under West Ham jersey. Ironically he came from Arsenal U21 team and after his successful Bundesliga career he signed for West Ham and scored his first goal against Arsenal.
Where is Jesus, Saka? Nketiah came in but still there's no goal. Hopes are fading for Arsenal.

Such teams that remain compact in the back after scoring early are usually hard to penetrate. Arsenal will have to do something extraordinary, maybe pull off a foul in the oppositions box because the forwards don't seem to find enough spaces right now

The way I see it, they are going to drop points tonight and Liverpool will remain at the top for now.

So far the second half of the match has entered the 84th minute, and as usual Arsenal can always control the match but always have difficulty in scoring goals, attacks and a rushed style of play often make Arsenal miss opportunities and opportunities are just wasted, so far Arsenal have took 22 kicks and could have increased until the match was over, but unfortunately only a few were on target Westham tight and well-coordinated defense became a strong enough fortress for Westham so Arsenal had to be able to find a solution to make a comeback or at least equalize the score there are only 6 minutes of normal time remaining in the match.

Additional two goals were conceded by the Tottenham team, making the Tottenham team concede a total of 4 goals. Although Tottenham was able to score two goals before the end of the second half, changing the scoreline to 4-2 in favor of Brighton.

It was a dominant match for Brighton, Tottenham was able to take over the match in domination when it was 10 minutes to end the match. That was when they scored their first(81)and second goal(85). They even missed a lot of scoring opportunities, which if they had utilized them as goals, would have been a draw match instead of a 4-2 win for Brighton.

It's safe to say the game is already lost. Only a few minutes left and they're still down by 2 goals. They have a massive advantage in terms of possession, but this means nothing if they can't convert that into opportunities.
They can't be losing home games like this if they want to aim for the championship. Probably will be overtaken by Man City when they beat Sheffield.

You think. Bro stops thinking, today is a bad day for Arsenal and i taught they will be able to maintain their position in the EPL table. Quite unfortunate it is Westham again. After the defeat at the Caraboa cup competition, they can't keep back their integrity in the Premier League by wining Westham.

It's almost end of the match and Arsenal could not even score a goal. Obviously, the match will end this way, but the Title still remain for Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa to compete for.

This is really beyond many people's expectations because previously I saw many people saying that Arsenal would be able to win easily against West Ham because Arsenal was playing at home. But looking at the results of the match it certainly surprised us because Arsenal played quite well and also took lots of shots but none of them became goals. I think West Ham succeeded in implementing a defensive strategy quite well because Arsenal took 27 shots but were blocked well by Areola.

Liverpool fans are quite happy with this result because the two teams below them failed to get full points in this week match so that Liverpool can sit comfortably at the top of the standing. Meanwhile, the bad results obtained by Aston Villa and Arsenal will mean that Manchester City can easily catch them in the upcoming match.

Between Arsenal who can't be trusted or West Ham who are in top form, i find it difficult to understand how this match went so that Arteta squad lost points. the Gunners are giving Liverpool the opportunity to lead the standings, it looks like the fate of Arteta and his fleet will end like last season. After losing 5-0 to Fulham, now West Ham got up and beat Wolves, Man United and most recently Arsenal with a score of 2-0 and what's even more amazing is that they did it at the emirates.

A surprise presented by West Ham makes us even more careful about betting on Arsenal victory in the future. Arteta squad doesn't seem to have a winning mentality, I think it's fair to say given how they failed to convert the chances available. previously this was an easy match for them to win, but it turns out Moyes taught the title challengers a valuable lesson in a surprising way.

Ball possession of more than 70% doesn't mean anything, on the other hand, West Ham managed to play an effective strategy to secure full points. Arteta must have been a big disappointment, this was not the end of their struggle this season. Next Arsenal will face Fulham, we'll see how Arteta motivates his squad to remain title contenders until the season ends.

In the other game tonight, I never know what to expect with Spurs. It could he any outcome, wouldn’t surprise me if Brighton took something from the game.

I had a feeling Spurs might find it tough at Brighton, totally did not see Arsenal dropping points at home though. Would have been some great odds on that, damn it.

Arsenal didn’t look like themselves tonight. Arteta would be furious at his players the way they played, they missed couple of clear chances. The gunners failed to end the year at home on a good note. With the way they played, it could have been worse on the scoreboard. West ham kept their lines clean. All credits to David Moyes and his players on how they approached the game, they soaked up all the pressure Arsenal put on them. With this formation, they have beaten some of the best teams in the premier league
