Yesterday was a bad day for gamblers, both Arsenal and Tottenham lost their match and caused so many people who played them to win to lose their bet. The funny part was that Arsenal failed to score a goal against Westham United at the Emirates Stadium.

Two elite clubs that have fixtures yesterday lost and there's something that's troubling about that fixture, no winning is guaranteed. The vast majority of gamblers lost significantly to the system and there's certainly nothing we would have done other than diving in deep thoughts. Tottenham had an amazing performance with Ange Postecoglou during this season in all the games we saw from them so far and they got good results.
While Totenham lost their money important player, Harry Kane, and people were expecting to see Totenham having a weak performance because of this player leaving the team to Bayern Munich, but they had an even better performance than last season with their coach Ange Postecoglou.
Now, Ange Postecoglou is trying to improve the team and he wants to hire more players during the winter to have more chances to race in the top side of the premier league. He confirmed that they are going to buy more players in the winter.

Arsenal can't always depend on him, he was not as good as Salah. Arsenal wasn't perform in this season, they're just lucky enough to reach top standings. But in the long run and consistency, Arsenal doesn't have it.

Even before this game he has flopped hugely. Asides that, the entire squad looks fatigued, stressed and tired. I think Mikel Arteta us making the same mistake from last season this season. At least, results like this are no longer something new for Arsenal, no matter what kind of players they privilege because anyway, in the end Arsenal will still fail to be strong in the top position of the Premier League. But indeed, losing at home with a score of 0-2 is certainly a bad result. Moreover, Arsenal in this match also have good dominance compared to West Ham.

My doubts are really happening about Arsenal vs West Ham, even though overall Arsenal should be able to win three points in this match with a final score of 2 - 1 or 3 - 2 or at least a draw because they are far favored compared to West Ham and as we see that in the last few seasons they have always been a hot topic of conversation to break the dominance of Manchester City, and this defeat is really a very bad result for them because from the start of the match to the end they really couldn't create any goals at all.

I will not say Arsenal lost their match yesterday because they underrated Westham United. Arsenal dominated Westham United and even had 30 goal attempts but could not find the back of the net, while Westham United only had 6 goal attempts, and they scored 2 goals against Arsenal. Luck was not on the side of Arsenal yesterday.

I can't imagine Arsenal losing this match. I thought I was going to see Arsenal win. Arsenal players tried a lot to score. The entire match was dominated by Arsenal players, but they failed to win. Arsenal players had 74% of the ball possession. They made 30 shots in the whole match. Arsenal played completely attacking. They cannot keep their defense strong. West Ham attacked very little. But Arsenal's players failed to resist West Ham's counterattacks. And this is why they are defeated. Coach Arteta needs to strengthen his defense. Otherwise, it will not be possible for Arsenal to win the title.

Arsenal match against West Ham illustrated how cornered Arteta troops were, who couldn't do much to equalize until the final minute. Even though Arsenal launched around 30 shots and none of them scored a single goal. Initially I also thought that Arsenal would get 3 points because this match was quite important to win, but unfortunately Arsenal defense seemed to have seen gaps in the West Ham players. The first goal reminded me of Japan goal in the world cup if I'm not mistaken against Germany. In fact, Arteta was too focused on attacking and didn't anticipate counter attacks, that's the only thing that made this match Arteta unable to control and West Ham had a goalkeeper who was on fire and made several pins.

Zinchenko was playing so awful in that match. Im not blaming him but just try to say that based on what i have seen in the match against westham. Gabriel and saka were so wasteful in that game. Saka got most of the opportunities compared to the other attackers but he was not unable to score.
This makes arsenal wasted many opportunities but they can learn a lot of things from that match, especially on how to beat opponents whose used the low block strategy. Arsenal is pretty much the same like totenham. These teams were always playing offensively, but they were struggling to beat an opponent that used low block strategy. it can be seen from the match of arsenal/totenham against some clubs like westham or aston villa. The same thing is also facing by chelsea caused by it was also facing the same trouble like totenham and arsenal.
The club that employs a low block strategy must face exceptionally creative attackers who possess the ability to engineer a golden opportunity to breach their defensive line. Arsenal and totenham need to find solution for this thing.

It wasn't just Saka who failed in that match, but we can say that Arsenal attack line failed miserably in converting the opportunities they had into goals, the 30 shots they managed to create were just wasted opportunities and Arteta should have realized them they still really need a goal-hungry striker able to be a differentiator for the team when a situation like the one against Westham occurs, currently Arteta is relying too much on both wings to score goals and even Jesus doesn't seem to be able to do much in that match, so far Jesus has been plotted as Arsenal main striker but after suffering a long injury Jesus seems to no longer be able to achieve his best performance, I think apart from adding defenders, it is time for Arsenal to look for a striker who really has a goal-hungry instinct like Thiery Henri and Van Persie in the past.

Well, it looks like Arsenal underestimated West Ham in this match at first. But this gave Arsenal a gap and West Ham managed to beat the home team. Arsenal lost in a painful way. Well, they continued to build attacks from start to finish. But nothing worked. Arsenal wasted their stamina and West Ham defended well and made effective counter-attacks.

Spurs also had bad luck. Brighton even ensured their victory in the 75th minute after getting 2 goals in the first half and adding 2 goals in the second half. Being 4 goals behind really made Spurs look weak. But Spurs narrowed the defeat by scoring 2 goals. But there are definitely far more bettors on Arsenal than there are bettors on Spurs. A bad day for gamblers? Not entirely so. Admittedly, a lot of people had likely placed bets on both Arsenal and Tottenham to win their games as they looked good enough to do so. Obviously, they lost out on their bets as both teams lost their matches. But as some folks lost out on their bets, some folks also played against those teams and won. It may have been a bad day for some, it was certainly a good day for others.
It’s quite sad Arsenal failed to score a single goal despite having the ball, most of the time in their possession as well as missing a lot of chances.

There is one thing about football and that is history. No matter how good a club is presently,  at a time, they are influenced by history and the club pattern of football. We have witnessed many matches that Arsenal dominate and in the end they were unable to get a goal.
Honestly, Arsenal needed to win the match against West Ham United.  They needed the win to seal their confidence that at the half of the season match,  they were at the top of the table.

We have known Arsenal as a club that can easily give up their first position to another club when they are slightly pressured. That is why I am not very surprised.  I am more confident seeing Liverpool at the top more than seeing Arsenal at the top.

This match is quite upsetting to remember because seeing from what Arsenal showed in this match, their dominance was actually very crazy but in the end it was also unable to make them get 3 points even with the ball possession and the many opportunities they had.

Bukayo Saka was not the only player who failed and it was felt that all the players did not provide anything impressive in this match. Mikel Arteta as the person in charge also deserves to be criticized because he always brings problems when Arsenal is at the top every mid-season. This is actually no different from last season where Arsenal were always able to get a place at the top and since the match against West Ham it seems that Arsenal are no longer ready to maintain their chances of winning the EPL.

It's no wonder that Arsenal will miss that opportunity and go back to having the same season as before. Mikel Arteta must add players, especially in his attack line, because as you said, it is no different from last season's player options. Well, let's see if in January they will be aware or still confident about the current squad.

I don't think Arsenal is ready yet this season, Arteta needs to make improvements to his team if they want to win the title, as their current performance which includes not scoring a goal won't get them far. Arsenal is set to lose another trophy this season. They play the entire game, but West Ham is the only team scoring. I disagree with anyone who predicted that West Ham would defeat Arsenal. My expectation was that Arsenal would win because they need the three points to get back the top spot in the league, but they are unable to defend their home. If West Ham not missed the penalty, the score would have ended in a 3:0 defeat for Arsenal. Liverpool is still leading the league right now.

Since Arsenal lost to West Ham at home, I believe that Manchester City still has a chance to win the league title this season. My initial thought was that, with new players joining the team, this season would be different from last season in that Manchester City would struggle to return to the top, but Arsenal still lost to earn three points.

I don’t even know what went wrong for Arsenal yesterday. They created 5 big chances yesterday which was enough to score five goals. The Saka header, the Jesus header, the bar Saka hit etc. I can count chances they missed that a certain Liverpool or Manchester city will bury with ease.
What pained me was the fact that they dominate west ham and had plenty touches in their box. They had about 30 shots and I had to analyze the quality of these touches and shots.
Of the 30 shots only 8 were on target and with my eyes I can tell 5-6 out of that 8 were back pass like where the goalkeeper really didn’t need to make a save.
The 22 that were not on target, at least 10 were blocked shots that did not move half a meter. Another 6 were air balls that did not even come close.

The bigger problem is that their frontline is dead food. The decision making is shit which is dulling the quality of chances they are creating. If they continue to convert few or none of their chances, I don’t think they will smell the top 3 of the league table.

With odds of x12.xx it should be lost in the hands of Arsenal which incidentally is the last match you have to bet on it is quite painful But indeed in this case you are not alone because I am sure many also bet even multi for Arsenal but not really in accordance with what is obtained in terms of results because I also feel the same way even without the names Chelsea and Manchester United but I did multi in several matches and juxtaposed with Arsenal and the results are a little not in line with expectations.

There are some things that cannot be done in this match because apart from Arsenal's carelessness in intercepting the ball which is not very good, in this match West Ham also played with a good defense that made Arsenal hassle in this match.

Arsenal who's consider to be in race with Liverpool for the the EPL title have suddenly dropped from the race,  what do we expected from these clubs now that they lost to Westham United? A recovery back to winning track? The matches are becoming complicated for elite clubs, their opponents are not stopping behind and keen on holding them down and denial of three points. The EPL race is changing into another dimension, we would be expecting new challengers and there's Manchester City who will surpassed Aston Villa and Arsenal who are relenting in their actions to win EPL matches.

Arsenal's defeat against West Ham looks very bad for them but it is interesting for the competition for the title and in a few weeks we have seen at least three teams take turns leading the standings.
The defeat against West Ham is actually normal in my opinion because Manchester City even experienced the same defeat 3 times this season and there are still many who believe Manchester City can compete for the title, so why Arsenal can't? the conditions are the same and Arsenal will quickly recover in the next match, in fact Arsenal has a chance of getting 9 points in the next three matches because on paper their opponents are in a condition below Arsenal, while Liverpool will be quite tough because of their busy schedule because there will be two different trophies where they will play in the FA Cup and 2 league cup semifinal matches, so Klopp must be smart enough in rotating players so as not to lose points in the league matches which will benefit the teams under them.

I see all these praises showering on Arsenal as pointless, it is like praising the head when it is cut off, what a poor performance by the Gunners. You talked about the ball possession, shots on the net and all that, is that what football is actually rated for? I never for once doubted Arsenal against West Ham, but look at what they performed. And cheaply, they've helped West Ham to gain some points to move higher but let it be known to Arsenal, that they are getting closer to losing the trophy this time again just like they did last season. In my last post on this thread, I made it clear that as we shout the name of Arsenal, in practice, we should know that they can disappoint at the same time because it is when you hail them that they fuck up the most. I am not new to that. The 0-2 against them in their home is no excuse if I must say and their fruitless attempts to score are nothing to me either even as they score nothing at all.

I knew that Liverpool would climb up one way or the other as it is now, I believe they will be more serious and are a good contender that can lift the cup this season. Man City is another threat here, they are now moving up gradually, and when other clubs lose, they get to take advantage as Man City often gets serious when they are lagging behind. This is the time, and I know that they will hardly lose any of their subsequent matches in the near future. That is why the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa and Liverpool should be very careful and up and doing, this is no more the time that a cheap match is being wasted as Arsenal did, and the opportunity wasted can never be regained, another 3 points missed. The loss of Aston Villa was quite understandable among the top clubs on the table, I knew that it would be a tough match for them when they faced Man U, and you can see what happened. Man U is not that club that will be easily defeated by Aston Villa in their home, not especially when they are taking the match seriously. But going forward, the first 3 clubs do not have many challenges to surmount, I think they should be using their next matches to their advantage, especially Liverpool and Arsenal, they need it.
