Arsenal were just too focused on building attacks and they were careless with their own defense. Meanwhile, West Ham are very smart because they focus on defending solidly and waiting for their opponents to let their guard down in defense. And it worked. and quite a lot of people use strategies like this. But the funny thing is that Arsenal doesn't seem to be used to the strategy used by their opponents. Arteta really has to start making other variations in their strategy. Because Arsenal is too monotonous in terms of strategy. But this defeat will definitely create a great incentive in the Arsenal squad to be more careful in the next matches. And no longer underestimate your opponent just because the opponent doesn't build much attack and defends more.

In the next match, Arsenal will face Fullham and I don't think Arsenal can lose in that match. Or the title race will simply elude them.

This defeat left points that became the difference with Liverpool 2 points above, this defeat is really hard to believe especially betting on Arsenal whose odds are 1.34.

The first goal from West Ham what I saw was a defender's mistake that could not be anticipated properly, maybe it was an inappropriate position but West Ham players were always ready in front of Arsenal's goal so this goal happened without Arsenal defenders.

The second goal from the cornerback was also actually difficult, it's just that the position of the West Ham player was right to take the header to become a goal, of course David Raya was out of step with this goal and difficult to stop.

When it was 2 goals West Ham was quite confident and solid in defense, despite the onslaught of Arsenal attacks they still could not be broken down, Areola did a good job and made several important saves for his team.

It should have been a 3-goal lead but the penalty was missed as David Raya got his head to the ball.

Why do we keep ruling out Liverpool in the race for the premier league tittle?To me, Liverpool are favourite for that tittle because I don't see Arsenal and Arteta's men win it again as they slip in the race.WestHam had always been a problem to them,but I blamed the manager,Arteta for not using a tactics that will be difficult for the Harmers,instead,he kept on playing Zinchenko who is a total problem when we face teams that have a very good attacking threats.
WestHam always knows how to win Arsenal,and yesterday,was another bad day for the gunners who now sits second to Liverpool.The tittle race is becoming complicated as games become more tough.

They have not been eliminated from the competition, Arsenal's defeat against West Ham was quite surprising, especially since Arsenal were playing at home, but that's football, many surprising things happen.
However, I think that Arenal, Liverpool and also Manchester City have enough strength to compete for the title and it is possible for these teams to be able to compete until the end of the season. This season is still very long and all possibilities are still possible.

Of course the premier league is a three horse race this  season, the defeat against Westham doesn't mean that Arsenal are out of the title race. Defeat is normal so I don't really see Arsenal to give up on the league title because of their second defeat of the season. Surprised here that even with Arsenal attacking so much, they didn't get success. As their defense was very weak due to which the opposing team was able to score goals with easy attacks. West Ham United's players had a total of 6 attacks on goal throughout the game, with only 2 of the 6 attacks being successful. Because the defense department of the Arsenal team was also careless, due to which they were able to score very easily, only 13 minutes later, the West Ham United team was ahead by scoring the first goal.

If I see Arsenal need a striker, Eddie and Jesus cannot lead this team. Arsenal needs a goal-hungry striker so that Arsenal have no difficulty scoring goals. Because it is very useless if in a match Arsenal is superior in everything including possession of the ball but they have difficulty scoring goals, maybe after this match Arteta will bring in a great striker in the transfer market later. With a squad like this, Arsenal will have difficulty facing the intense competition in the EPL league.

Even though Westham was disappointed, we are confident that Arsenal will bounce back. because they are still in 2nd place, only 2 points behind leaders Liverpool, and the league still has a long way to go!!!

There's no guarantee having a new striker will make arsenal to perform even better. It may also become a boomerang for arsenal soon. Arsenal has been linked to the toney but it seems arteta is still willing to think for twice before try to sign him as a new player.

Arsenal made a mistake in their formation, and West Ham took advantage of it, mercilessly defeating them. Arsenal's performance was very poor, and they were slow in their build-up to attack. West ham now seem to have understood Arsenal so well and did prepared against Arsenal's defense line while theirs was kept intact as well, west Hams victory yesterday was deserving as they did played so well enough to have won that game, this is a valid indication that what happened to Arsenal last season may repeat it self again this season as they may be unable to win the league title after getting to the top a few times, Arteta needs to be a dynamic and not repeating same style and pattern to the point he turns out very much predictable.

So true, the main weakness of club that was playing offensively was low block. By making Arsenal play upfront, it will create an opportunity for West Ham to have an advantage as most of their players will be going up.

I will also say that City often are in optimal shape towards the end of the season, I have noticed this for several seasons in a row, Guardiola calculates the strength of the players very well and it becomes very difficult to fight with such a team. But this would not consider the true strength of both teams in that game. Arsenal was the far better team, but football is a game about results and the team that wins is always right so to say. They had a lot of chances, but they didn't score goals. The penalty at the end of the game was rather meaningless, but still. If someone showed you all the game statistics without goals scored, I think hardly anyone would think that this game ended 0-2.

A well executed tactics was deployed by West Ham against Arsenal it was indeed a mass defence and counterattack style of play and they utilized their setpiece well for instance they scored their second goal through cornerkick and couldn't get a free kick in dangerous position for Wardprowse who was a specialist in the kick every effort by  dominant Arsenal side to break "park bus" of West Ham proved abortive even with all their possession and more shot on target West Ham stood their ground unfortunately Arsenal couldn't get their desire result of securing the three maximum points it's quite a disappointing first home loss of the season.

The premier league is not a league you can easily write other teams off untill the final days of the league because of its competitive nature and besides we just at halfway through the season so it’s too early to conclude Arsenal who sits just two points behind league leaders are already out of the title race. Manchester City who sits at no.4 are still in the race because if they can maintain a winning streak for as long as six to seven games they will definitely find themselves either on top of the table or few points behind whoever is first position. That’s how competitive the league is but with every team average performance it will be difficult to for a team to maintain such winning streak. Each team will definitely drop points sooner or later so I think there is still a chance for Arsenal to fight for the title.

West Ham's victory over Arsenal will open space for other teams to expose Arsenal's weaknesses. I agree with your words that Arteta needs to find a dynamic game tactic so that it cannot be easily read by opponents. I don't really know how football tactics but I see in broad outline that that night West Ham really appeared neatly even though Arsenal dominated with dozens of shots and 75% possession of the ball.

Arsenal have their philosophy which prioritizes ball possession but they usually don't try to find opportunities from far distance. It has actually been changed with Arteta management and they tried to make more distant shots. With Odegaard, they have a very good midfielder who can score goals beyond the box.

However it is not Arsenal day and West Ham United actually found their perfect day by taking almost all chances they got to find goals and beat a big opponent in the league. It's true that Arsenal must tighten their defense because if they don't do it or fail to build up a stronger defense, they will fail against Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race again.
