Man City seemed to have prepared everything very neatly, when several lags were experienced they were able to survive a little so as not to fall too far into the position. Now the return of several  important players will provide additional strength in closing the gap with the teams at the top. Because currently there is instability occurring Aston Villa is starting to lose fuel to continue extending the positive trend and Arsenal has just been beaten by West Ham United without being able to put up a fight.  Maybe now Liverpool is worthy enough to  compete with Man City and prove who won the trophy.

If you still relaxed on Manchester city to win this trophy, you will fail at the end because many teams that did not do well last season are the teams coming close to top position in the table currently because, they have performed well to beat some teams they find difficult to beat last season. Yesterday results made Liverpool to sit comfortable in the first position because, Arsenal lose to their opponent in their home that gave Liverpool opportunity to be in the eye of people the team that will win this trophy this season if Arsenal miss it again.

I know that Aston villa will not last in that second position but it will be difficult for Manchester city to win this trophy in this season because, some of their talented strikers are facing some injuries that will make some not to join them to play soon based on their medical report.

I quite agree wit you though, I do not think that Manchester city will win the trophy this season, they probably might come close to winning it, but I don't think they would, a lot clubs are currently performing above expectations, and as such, this has made the premier league this season more competitive than most of us expected.

Arsenal seem to be in a much more better position to win the title this season, but just incase they fail, which I am stil hoping they don't, Liverpool or Aston villa seems quite ready and prepared to take over.
But then again, just incase all this clubs fail to perform well, and Manchester city end up winning the trophy again this season, then, it might again turn out to be another disappointing season for me, since I am honestly not in support of Manchester city winning the trophy again, after having won last season, and I think even the previous one before the last season.

Not too good like the one they had when they won the Premier League and Champions League. Currently they are just having only one of the wings working effectively and that's from Mo Salah. He'll be out for the African Cup of Nations Competitions and when that happens, I'll love to see how they cope without Salah. Can Elliott, Jones and Diaz do the job?!

They have Thiago Alcantara returning mid January and that'll make their midfied stronger. Arsenal had the chance to go top but they literally waisted the opportunity. Arsenal management needs to invest some new set of players in the transfer window.

Luton Town is a very interesting team to watch this season as they could sometimes create miracle results against big teams even though they are clearly the underdogs with their small squad of players. Chelsea will need to play against Luton Town in their next upcoming match away from home and I think there is a high chance for Chelsea to stop Luton Town from claiming a 3rd win streak tomorrow.

Your guess could still be right and could still be wrong, of course because I'm sure Arsenal and Manchester City will always be there to have tough competition until the end of the season. The depth of Liverpool's squad is no different compared to last season, but Liverpool have a great job this season because Klopp has succeeded in increasing the motivation of the players to do their best.

Arsenal and Tottenham lost their last respective matches, so this is an opportunity for Manchester City to get closer to Liverpool at the top of the standings. Manchester City have 1 match in hand which could possibly put them within 2 points of Liverpool, so it won't be easy for Liverpool to win the title this season without tight competition.

I was initially confident in Arsenal before the match started saying the Gunners would definitely win because this was playing at home, unfortunately this did not become the desired expectation even though of course I bet Arsenal but the results were disappointing at the hands of West Ham.

Arsenal squad could not score at all, Arsenal did seem to continue to attack, it's just that their attacks were often thwarted by opponents West Ham goalkeeper did a good job making it difficult for Arsenal.

This match is quite upsetting to remember because seeing from what Arsenal showed in this match, their dominance was actually very crazy but in the end it was also unable to make them get 3 points even with the ball possession and the many opportunities they had.
West Ham played very well in defense but actually if you look at what happened 2 goals scored by West Ham I think it can be minimized by Arsenal actually but with problems about communication that is not very good precisely this makes the situation of Arsenal not very profitable even though they are favorites in this match.



The unlucky thing is that my multi bet had to end in the last match which I expected actually to be better even though it was a good momentum especially after getting crucial wins from Chelsea and Manchester United bets but Arsenal disappointed me this week.

Liverpool is seriously eyeing the trophy and that is why when Tottenham and Brighton were doing their thing at the beginning of the season i was expecting things like this to turn out this way and Liverpool is gradually winning and adding points and yesterday I was surprised with the way west ham won against Arsenal on a normal day Arsenal would have flogged west ham but as the result maybe that Arsenal lost we move Liverpool is just leading with two points. And to me Arsenal is still on track, we just need to put our head in the game  am not yet worried. What still surprises me is how Liverpool picked all of a sudden.

I can't imagine Arsenal losing this match. I thought I was going to see Arsenal win. Arsenal players tried a lot to score. The entire match was dominated by Arsenal players, but they failed to win. I think it’s safe to say Arsenal aren’t ready to challenge for the EPL title this season. If you don't score you don't win games simple. Sometimes I feel Arteta is trying to prove a point. He’s trying the impose his tactics on everybody, and he’s ready to keep pushing it till it works out.. he’s not ready to change it for anybody or anything.
I think yesterday was not the first time Arsenal conceded first and lost, it's not about the players now, its Arteta.

I knew it would be quite difficult to win Westhampton but I somehow was expecting a draw with Saka, Gabriel, Martinelli, Odegaard all shooting wide and missing numerous chances to secure their three points or even one.
No EPL trophy for Arsenal this season and I think Arteta knows this and would seek out new strikers with a consistent finish.

It is very clear that Arsenal are in need of a sticker who can be scoring 20 goals and above each season if they are ever going to win the premier league again. The stricking department in the club is not producing. If they can get a good stricker by January they will have a chance of winning the league this season.

Arsenal lack of competent striker is a major consign and obstacle to winning the title this season, it was obvious in yesterday match against West Ham that the inability of Gabriel Jesus to convert some of their goal scoring chances was partially responsible for their loss it's very glaring if they have a striker like Haaland I am very sure they would have gotten a positive result from that match, Nketiah alternative striker who was always benched for Gabriel Jesus is neither competent enough too thus it up to the manager to scout for a very profilic striker in January transfer window else if the team continue to play the duo mentioned above there chances of winning the league would be slim.

As a result, Arsenal players could not score a single goal despite many attacks. There is no doubt that Arsenal are a very strong team. But there is no striker in Arsenal's squad who can score at crucial moments or at the last minute to give Arsenal victory. If a striker like Mbappe or Haaland was in the Arsenal squad, Arsenal would have become stronger.

I think Arsenal will do their best to bring Mbappe into the squad. However, there are rumors that if Mbappe leaves PSG, his destination is going to be Real Madrid. But I think Arsenal will make a big offer for Mbappe to join Arsenal.

Yesterday before the start of the game I made a post here about the game, and how difficult it will be for arsenal since it's a derby game, and when you look at the most important statistics the head to head record,  it shows that both teams have the ability to beat each other.
Though I expected a draw from the game, but arsenal performance was too poor to even warrant a draw couple with the form westham is on now.

So many people would say it's pretty too early to start predicting who is gonna win the title, but I think the race is already on and arsenal have started showing the same signs they showed last season and how incapable they can be whenever it comes to taking responsibility, I mean how can a team that is contending for the league title be loosing games at home and not even putting in a fight or at least snatching a point, this in not good for arsenal and they have to brace up immediately before things gets really messy for them.

At no point did I believe Manchester City would struggle to get to the top? What they experienced or are experiencing is what every big team experiences: A temporary loss in form. Manchester City had injuries and it was a problem. The injury happened to the main creator and even if they may have the best goal scorer, there's nobody to feed him.
Then after that, Rodri too got injured. We're talking about the second most important midfielder in the team and the best DM in the world.
All things considered, the form of Manchester City is not too surprising.

Now De Bruyne is back, but Rodri is injured again. Let's see how they'll cope without him.
Despite the injuries, I still believe Manchester City would be able to go above Arsenal even without playing the game they have in hand because I believe Arsenal will still lose points in no distant time.

The battle for the league is going to be between Liverpool and Manchester City. Liverpool too is a team that does not want to lose points even if they struggle sometimes.

I believe what happened to Arsenal last season will happen again, because they have started playing weak games, and he will affect their chances of winning the Premier League trophy, and make Liverpool win, and now that Manchester City are in the top 4 in the league table, I believe Guadiola will try his hardest to top the league if Liverpool make any mistakes, because if Manchester City top the league, I don't think they will get any club that will bring them down again in the Premier League if they top the table now because guadiola will not make any mistakes that will make him drop any point. I expected Liverpool or Arsenal to win the league title this season, but I see Arsenal starting to play weak games in their matches, and I don't believe West Ham can defeat Arsenal so easily in Emirates Stadium, which is why football is unpredictable. West Ham currently leads Manchester United by two points, and if they continue to perform well they can finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League next season.

There are still 19 matches left for all teams to complete their matches this season. which means, what the Premier League presents is still very interesting. currently, Liverpool is in first place and is only 2 points ahead of Arsenal. next, Liverpool will play Newcastle. after that, Liverpool will play quite busy matches, both in the Premier League and also in the EFL Cup competition. what's even tougher is that Liverpool will also meet Chelsea, Arsenal and host the match against Manchester City. if Klopp is able to bring his team smoothly in these matches, Liverpool's chances of winning a trophy this season are quite big. but it won't be that easy, because after all Liverpool's competitors will try to look even better.

Yesterday results made Liverpool to sit comfortable in the first position because, Arsenal lose to their opponent in their home that gave Liverpool opportunity to be in the eye of people the team that will win this trophy this season if Arsenal miss it again.

How is Liverpool sitting comfortably in first position when they are just ahead of Arsenal, which is in second position with just two points? Any slight mistake by Liverpool will drop them from their current first position, so I won't say they are sitting confidently in first position. Let's see how they perform in their coming matches.
