Manchester City - Leicester game really seems to be worth watching to me. Above all else, I expect a one-sided game. Because we are talking about Manchester City in Etihad.    There is no way that they can have a difficulty in implementing their usual game plan here I think. Leicester have a strong attacking line. But I don't expect Manchester City to let them have too many chances in this game. Maybe Leicester could score one goal somehow at least. But Manchester City would defeat them comfortably.

I think Leicester city should be prepared to become a goal granary for Manchester city if they have to visit the Etihad stadium this week in the English Premier League match week 18, as we know that Manchester City this season has been very dominant despite scoring a goal against Manchester City. the opponent's goal where last week they managed to beat Leeds united with a landslide score of 7-0 at the Etihad stadium, I think Leicester city must be sure to survive to be able to reduce the attack from Manchester city which is so impressive by using counter attacks that is one way to beat Manchester city which is currently so mighty

I have two opinions here in my first one I totally agree with you’ll that City will crush Leicester and score at least 3 goals and not concede, but in my second one I believe Roger will park the bus and frustrate City and escape with a draw. Also I’m aware the latter is very difficult to happen, but I don’t think Roger really has any other option then defending hard, because if he try’s to attack City then they’ll only lose heavily.

If they want to terminate the season, now is the best moment to do so because the season is still going on and the difference between 1st and 3rd place is still small, so no one will feel cheated, but I doubt that will happen because the European competitions are still going on.

Extending the season will just further muddle the new season calendar; the best alternative right now is to minimize the number of home and away fans to a manageable level and restrict players' activities, such as no more clubbing or travel to affected areas.

Shutting down the fans would be the last resort, but it would be the best option if the number of cases increased by January due to the holiday season.

I agree with your sentiments, we do not want to see the season cancelled and the most likely scenario being extending the season to allow postponed games to be played simply because the FIFA 2022 World Cup will be taking place in December in Qatar therefore no players or managers should have problems extending the season.

Honestly, I have no issues watching the games until the end of the season with empty stadiums but the most important thing from a footballing perspective is that games should go ahead with an extended season if necessary as long as they are safe to proceed with players tested regularly. Life is far more important than any football game, players and managers should not take risks and they should always send out the correct message to fans (especially young fans) to spread the message for them to keep safe and to take precautions trying to stop the spread of any variant of COVID-19.

Conte did make that powerful interview where he vented a lot of frustration by claiming the meeting between the managers and Premier League representatives was a waste of time since the decisions about the roadmap were already made and the managers were there just for the sake of it. I think there is probably a degree of accuracy about what he said but it just is not clear about what will happen if more players test positive rendering squads under the quota of minimum available players to force games to go ahead.

Another question is that the calendar is not rubber and not only Jurgen Klopp expresses his dissatisfaction, but Josep Guardiola is already calling for a strike to draw attention to the busy schedule. Therefore, concerns about the health of players in case of coronavirus and postponement of matches lead to an even greater load and high injury rate. Whatever idea or decision the premier league officials comes out with, am okay with it. They should know what's the right step to take towards this covid-19 symptom of players.
I wouldn't mind if the premier league matches got postponed than risking the lives of players. The health of players should come first before entertaining we "fans".

at least, based on humanity, the match should be postponed. this news had also been discussed a few weeks ago, and finally, this might be the culmination of his decision.
However, the number of Covid-19 cases affecting players in the Premier League is increasing. and of course, it will get more attention. some competitions in other countries are continuing because there is no increase in Covid-19 cases.

The Covid storm is certainly not a light problem. As stated in the announcement, this delay will last until the player's condition recovers and the situation improves again. A little disappointed must be a natural thing where we usually watch the game non-stop every night and now have to wait. In my opinion, this delay will also be detrimental to all parties. Because there are many targets to be achieved. Moreover, 2022 we are already dealing with the world cup.

Right now if covid continues to spread of course there will likely be a lot of matches potentially being postponed, I think the EPL has taken precautions to prevent the spread of the virus by implementing health protocols for those who participate including telling club staff and players to vaccinate, but it looks like there are some clubs who do not heed the existing regulations, just like many players who actually refuse to vaccinate and booster for various reasons.

I already wrote in another thread that literally two days ago, the Everton players were all right ... so I find it strange, (I am convinced that if any club wants to reschedule the match, it will find a good reason for it).

In addition, I am also convinced that during a pandemic, players need to prohibit contacts with other players before and after matches and there will be no problems, (under current circumstances, it doesn't even seem absurd to me that unvaccinated players should prepare for games separately from the rest). But I am sure of one thing, no matter how the situation develops, the tournament itself will not be suspended under any circumstances.

Maybe better postponed than having to watch a ghost match every weekend. I don't like watching match without spectators in stadiums, it never looks like a big match. 3 match have been confirmed to be postponed this week, but it's good to have some interesting match still held such as Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea match this weeks.

This should be one of the bonus game for Arsenal, it is now my best game when Liverpool versus Leeds United has been postponed. Burnley, Newcastle and Norwish City are all the worst team and likely they might all relegate. This should be a good win for Arsenal as Arsenal are playing better than before.

It is very possible there will be a time Newcastle will relegate and never come back to EPL for long time if it continues like that. Newcastle is still one of the worst club in EPL so far this season, there is nothing impossible while playing with underdog but Manchester United will have most chances to win the match.

I wish there was no such disease, covid is really a big problem. Last year, matches were not played in many leagues or fans were not allowed in the matches. Matches without spectators were not enjoyable at all.
It is no longer as important as it used to be, its effect has been diminished since the vaccine was found. But with the new variant, serious problems started to appear again.
I hope no player is affected by this situation. We can go back to our old healthy days and watch the match

Newcastle - Manchester United

Let's not forget that tomorrow is boxing day,and almost all the big teams in premier league use to make it compulsory to win their matches,and apart from that,Manchester United are begining to regain their form under this new coach,so I have no doubt that Manchester United will win that match.
Although Newcastle will prove very stubborn because of home advantage,but I think Man-u will win that encounter.

Arsenal also will flog Norwich City 0-3. A clean sheet there.

if we look at Newcastle we can see that they have only been unlucky in some games, they at least manage to score goals, while manchester united in the last 3 games has only managed to score 1 goal, maybe Manchester united can actually score more than 2 goals today
