Let's say someone submits a vote on this local board translation, instead of on the English thread. Will their vote count?

Such cases were very rare in the past. As far as I remember, they were only 2, in the past 2 years. I remember one of them for sure.
However, those votes were counted. I remember this.

Were you thinking about this post? It's not really a vote, but a colleague's summary of the local members who were voted in the past contest.

Just in case, if someone submitted a vote in the Spanish thread, I and other local members would ask that person to post his/her vote in the original thread, to avoid further complications. However, it's great that the OP takes these rare events into account.
