Today 36th Match of Indian Premier League has already started.Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders both teams came to the field to play.Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl.Kolkata Knight Riders now came to bat.They scored 68 runs in 7 overs.  Kolkata Knight Riders have not lost any wicket till now. It seems that Kolkata Knight Riders can score good runs. But if Kolkata Knight Riders can keep the wickets and stay on the field then they can score like 180 runs in the match. And if the strong wickets go away then Kolkata  Knight Riders cannot score so many runs.

The Kolkata team collected 126 runs in 14 overs. Jason Roy batted brilliantly. Narayan Jagadeesan scored 27 runs, but he cost 29 balls. I am surprised that an opener is batting at a strike rate below 100 in a platform like IPL. We don't expect such stupid batting from an opener. Even then it looks like Kolkata may be able to give a target of more than 200 today. 2 Even I guess Kolkata will be able to give a target of 220-230. Nitish Rana and Iyer are now at the crease. If this pair is tall, it will not be difficult for Kolkata to give a big target.

Jason Roy and Nitish Rana's batting impressed me. Jagadeesan and Iyer's batting at the same time was very boring. Iyer was able to collect 31 runs off 26 balls. The team expects better innings from an experienced batsman like Iyer. I would have been happy if Iyer had returned to the dressing room with 31 off 20 balls.
However, Kolkata managed to collect 200 runs in 20 overs. Kolkata has given a target of 201 runs. It wasn't a bad collection. However, the performance of the Kolkata bowlers is very poor. Kolkata's bowlers will definitely need to perform well today if they want to win against Bengaluru's experienced batting line-up.

It is still not possible to predict which team will win. Although the collection of 200 runs is a good enough collection. However, despite giving more than a target of 200 runs, the Kolkata team lost the match this season. The performance of their bowlers is very poor. And so even after giving a target of 201 runs, the Kolkata team is not safe. But if the Kolkata bowlers can pick up the wickets of Kohli and du Plessis within the 6 overs of the powerplay, Kolkata's chances of winning will increase.

When the match is likely to be won someone does a mistake and that turns to be costly. In the match between RCB and KKR, the opening contributors didn't score good. Virat Kohli as usual did his part. At the middle order Karthik and Prabhudessai were building partnership and fortunately Dinesh Karthik went for two runs and Prabhudessai lost the wicket. Maybe they could've won the match for RCB.

After losing 4 matches in a row, KKR finally picked up their third win of IPL 2023 with a win against RCB. KKR have won three matches this season out of which they have won two matches against RCB. RCB's biggest weakness is their batting line-up. An entire team's batting line-up depends on certain batsmen. If any of them performs badly then the team is sure to lose. That's exactly what happened against KKR. Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis failed to perform against KKR as their failure led to their defeat.

Varun Chakaravarthy's bowling spell was superb. He picked up three valuable wickets with 27 runs in 4 overs  Varun Chakaravarthy was selected as Man of the Match for this match

Varun Chakaravarthy performed well with the ball, along with Suyash Sharma and Andre Russell. However, given the huge price which was paid by Kolkata Knight Riders to bring Chakaravarthy to the team (₹12 crore, or $1,463,000), his performance has been disappointing so far in this season. Some of their other high profile signings have also disappointed, including Shreyas Iyer (injured) and Lockie Ferguson (out of form). Now coming to Royal Challengers Bangalore, they are losing the matches because they include useless player like Shahbaz Ahmed in the playing XI.

Dinesh Karthik appears to be good at wicket keeping only, I haven't seen a single match winning contribution so far from him. Shahbaz Ahmed this guy should be out of playing 11 already.

I would praise RCB for their fielding but that too was fail yesterday.

There are so many promising youngsters in the bench, but none of them are given opportunities.

@Sithara007 that was indeed an baffling tactic by Kohli, because when you’re chasing such a big target you need to send Maxwell out there asap so he scores runs quickly and reduces the pressure on the next batsmen. Also despite RCB losing the match there’s one positive for all the Indian fan's that Virat looks to have found his lost form back, and if he can maintain this form then it’ll help team India a lot as many big tournaments are coming up post the IPL.

Despite the fact that Royal Challengers Bangalore have the world's best batsmen in their team, they didn't do well. This is one of their biggest failings and it happens to them every season. Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik, David Willey these players are in one team but they could not win the match. Yesterday at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders posted a huge score of 200 runs while Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to score only 179 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the match by just 21 runs.

After having good start RCB fall down badly and no batsman was able to give them support at crucial time which is surely bad for them and their chances to have better results in coming matches Virat done good job as he was batting things were completely in their favour but suddenly 12th and 13th overs change the match momentum which was good surprise from the KKR as their bowlers done good job in difficult conditions.

While Karthik were on crease few were still hoping, but sadly he was also gone quickly and RCB have to face another defeat with this defeat now things looking bad for them but still they are capable of having better results and chance for jumping from here to top four which is dream of few teams which are falling down badly in last few rounds.
