That was fun Gulden is a fantastic long term prospect regardless of what just happened. Look at the amount of merchants that accept NLG. Is there any coin outside of BTC that has more acceptance? Don't forget, you can buy at all online btc merchants as well with Gulden (NLG). So both Gulden merchants and btc merchants. For newcomers also check the timeline: https://timeline.gulden.com/

That was fun Gulden is a fantastic long term prospect regardless of what just happened. Look at the amount of merchants that accept NLG. Is there any coin outside of BTC that has more acceptance? People still are not tired to throw their money at speculative coins with premine? I thought that enough people already got burned on these coins. Remember AmericanCoin, CHNCoin, Eurocoin and others. Just look where they are now - http://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all As soon as the puppeteers sell your premine, they just toss this coin. But their goal is to sell as many of these drawn coins for silly hamsters, so they are satisfied with the pumps and dumps before finally throw a coin in the trash. The most striking example of the latter is paycoin. The best investment it's invest in the open and honest coins without premine that bring their owners the good annual income There are new shit coins introduced everyday that last 30-90days and then gone. Premine got a bad rap from the multiple scams that happened last year. As long as a team holding a premine can account for the coins and there isn't any shady movement going on then all is well IMHO. I look for the teams that have been around the block and stuck through the hard times, the teams that continue to deliver and the teams that are making headway with mass adoption. This is a long race so day to day price and volume are useless indicators of long term success. Edit: Wait, wait, you're right this isn't diamond so it's a shit coin..... Move the fk along....

For those I don't have on my mailing list and have a service for Gulden please do the below when you get a chance. It is a non critical update but there is some minor changes. Development update:Prelude:The initial goal for 1.5.1 was only going to be sorting out bug fixes that came across with the 0.10/0.11 code base update. A few weeks later it became a larger more in depth project due to the name change to Gulden and other concerns. The below tasks were achieved for 1.5.1 1. Renaming to Gulden. A lot more effort goes into a name change then what's on the surface especially on the building process of the wallet. QR codes with Gulden wallet will scan for old Guldencoin addresses and new Gulden addresses so that all addresses are catered for going forward. The new android wallet update also includes both. The install process also caters for moving the wallet.dat file into the new location so you don't have to do this manually. This was very important to implement for new users to Gulden and crypto. 2. UI update. We felt it was important to put a unique touch on 1.5.1 to showcase the direction we moving. The UI changes and rebranding along with the removal of the overview screen and the addition of the backup tab felt like a good first move. The backup wallet button is not visible in normal wallets and as the saying goes "out of sight out of mind". The progress bar is another added touch, instead of displaying a count down in time for the sync which would scare most users away a progress bar will now be visible during the sync process. 1.5.1 is the first changes we going to be making to the UI, we expect to have another release before the end of the year. 3. Bug fixes. The 2 main fixes were: The max fee(size) has been increased to cater for addresses where a lot of transactions (mainly mining) made up the balance of a particular wallet increasing the size of transactions being sent from that address. KGW fix for linux 32bit builds. 4. Streamlining of the build process MaNI has does a incredible job with our build server, a lot of the time for 1.5.1 was spent perfecting the process of delivering new wallet builds whenever we make changes and want to test or release. This is going to save us a lot of time in the future and we can start focusing on more functionality. The above was a great team effort from the core developers to web design to testing. 1.5.1 is now available at our developer site: https://developer.gulden.com/apps

Just make a backup and save it on usb or other first and then install the new wallet. (Backup button is there in the new wallet, in the 1.5.0. version go to "bestand" and "backup van portemonnee maken") After installing the new wallet your coins will apear in the new wallet and that bug is fixed also. Make a backup again after that.

However if you absolutely must do this with the old wallet simply add a line "maxtxfee=10" into your old wallets guldencoin.conf file which should allow you to do the transaction.

Just wanted to add that this is very important for Gulden, please take your time and read it on our official forum. People wanting the developers to work on forums. WTF have people lost their minds? Do what the digibyte community have done and setup your own forums. I wouldn't want Jared fucking around with forums. MY GOD! https://community.gulden.com/t/should-we-lose-gulden-zone/1283/26

I think you got it a bit backwards here Blue. The discussion is about the dev team controlling and pushing their own main forum against the will of a majority of users that prefer their own. Unfortunately that forum will get closed now, because the dev team refuses to cooperate with the initiator of the other, community build forum. So it's like Jared would have build his own forum that is not really liked by the community and him trying to prevent the community members to successfully build and promote their own...

Is there examples of them saying this or more of a guess ? It looks like a power struggle from what I am reading. Suggesting people should put sell walls at 1680 is a total power move

Is there examples of them saying this or more of a guess ? It looks like a power struggle from what I am reading.
These power struggles have been going on already for some time. DeVries thinks people should be using the official forum, instead of his more popular one (some people even thought it was the official one), because it would be better for NLG. The complaint is that dev members don't answer user questions on his forum or actively participate in that community. So, to answer your question, the lack of dev members saying something is the problem. Many people on his forum don't agree with his decision.

A more important question , what questions haven't these devs answered on the other forums? Send links and I will Google translate . People need to see proof of this or its just an excuse to cause FUD.

Nope, that question is not important. This is now the 3rd time (first criptoe, then new official forum, now this) in 1 year that this "power struggle" surfaces... get the hint, or check back in this thread (which has been in English mostly).
