Why is it that as soon as there is a delay or some other small issue, the first word someone brings up is 'scam'

Speak for yourself, troll. You've never seen his rigs. GPUMAX enables those with hashpower to rape those that need hashpower. Grin

i made a normal purchase on the 25th and it still hasnt gone through yet.  Ive sent a message to pirateat and he hasnt responded to me yet.  i know of others who made normal purchases AFTER me that have gone through!  i copy/pasted the amount and address and sent the coins.  this is not my first purchase.  why is there no contact information on their site?  are they starting to scam people?  has anyone else had problems with gpumax?

Check your PM and you might think differently.

Thanks,

miscreanity

One of my purchases sat for weeks on what is still a beta offering. I refrained from complaining about it, having come to understand that Pirate's quality reputation is well-earned and worthy of patience. Not only did my purchase eventually go through, it did so shortly after a major update to the entire system that improved on almost every aspect.

I'd rather trust a pirate than a politician.

Maybe he meant "macs" and was typing too quickly on an unfamiliar keyboard.  Perhaps he is running the Mac client and wondered if transfers were working.

Well, I'm pretty sure, unless zux0r was lying when he said:

[6:14 PM] <zux0r> we have hundreds on the list that have been waiting
Also:
Code:
[10:19 PM] <zux0r> nushor[A], sorry, there are hundreds of people ahead of you

GPUMax emails cannot be changed, which would pose a problem.

The obvious solution would be to implement a GPUMAX pass-through, but that would effectively negate the control Pirate has over hashpower volume. (and probably bring GPUMAX out of the wonderful stability it has enjoyed these past few weeks)

That's not a project that I'd be interested in maintaining. I'm more interested in GLBSE assets, and I have a bond coming up soon!

Lol. Have you noticed how everything pirateat40 does seems to attract the possibility of pass-throughs? Cheesy
