I think we need more posts here about what is happening. The Karma forums shouldn't be replacing this far more noticeable forum, it makes it look like people are losing interest in Karma. It hasn't even been announced who has won the "elections" yet.
Why not post about it here, if you think it should be here but is not yet? As a workgroup moderator, you're more than free to.

I just studied the orderbook at MP a bit:
There are 413 LTC of sell orders between 200 and 249 litoshi, and 875 LTC of sell orders between 250 and 299 litoshi, then 898 LTC of sell orders between 300 and 349 litoshi. Then it becomes thinner... with 100 LTC between 350 and 399 litoshi, and 105 LTC between 400 and 449 litoshi, and 117 LTC between 450 and 499 litoshi.
From 36 to 189 litoshi in one month (17th of May to June) is simply amazing.
But even those incredible 24h-volumes (of 220 LTC to 1914 LTC per day in the past week) may have difficulties of breaking through the two hundreds?
On the other hand, who buys now in the two hundreds has space to sell in the three hundreds; and a total volume of 5260 LTC in 7 days ... wow.
I guess it's time to become even more optimistic now. I move my sell offers higher.

Litecoin is now 0.01583 btc each. Its time to start thinking of a BTC pairing - we are a coin with a great future tied to dead weight here.

The search function of the block explorer is broken. I cannot search for any block hash, or address. I tried firefox and chrome.

I tried firefox and chrome. its not your browsers its the block explorer. well its working but its bugy today. we are aware and looking into it. it is the "front" end that is buggy. at this time you can manually do this : " http://explorer.karmacoin.me/address/ _______karma-address-you -want-to-look____________" " http://explorer.karmacoin.me/tx/ _________transaction id_______________" " http://explorer.karmacoin.me/block/ ________block height_____________" so manually place in the address/tx/block and copy/pasta it into the browser

I just got an idea last night . maybe we can publish the Karma Magazine , perhaps monthly magazine . in that magazine , with the contents :Charities introduction , stories of "doing good" , Karma donate reports, Karmashare LLC trend .... because there are a lots of "doing good" things happen every day in the world , so we can got enough materials . With the magazine , we can attract more and more normal people pay attentions to Karma ,, we spread the " doing good" and many people have the same philosophy as Karma .we will be proud to do that .

I see the pump n dumpers are playing with Crypt now. Damn shameful to see people selling decent coins and buying Crypt at these prices. These are the people that end up going to bed and waking up to find their investment has done a CAT, or a DRK, or a VRC, or pretty much any coin that has ever gone up this much in such a short time. That they would rather invest in Crypt pumped 1000% above what it was going for last week than KARM is a true testament to the sheer stupidity of the average trader we are dealing with. A fool and his money....

for the curious, the results of a quick test to see the effectiveness of our channels, as far as activity goes (A few hours ago I posted a generic announcement to each of the following that measured the number of clicks received)
1) Facebook page: 42 clicks 2) Bitcointalk forum: 31 clicks 3) r/karmashares: 27 clicks 4) r/karmateam: 16 clicks
Facebook seems the most effective at getting our message out to pre-existing members (and perhaps new users, if the post is promoted)
Bitcointalk seems the most effective at getting our message to new users, though we don't know how many of the persons that clicked are new to Karma. Also, the number of clicks was much lower than expected. I should probably have measured the number of views the thread had in that span of time. (but of course not everyone would be interested in a generic "marketing announcement" link)
(note: I did not check Twitter and the results are by no means scientific)

Attention all miners!!!! We have been made aware of a possible attempted 51% attack which possibly affected Mintpal earlier today. Countermeasures have been put in place by Mintpal to reduce the chances of any further attacks but we as a community need to come together to make sure these types of attacks can not continue to happen. The Karma Team is asking that all miners please switch to a p2pool of your choice to help spread the hash power of all our rigs making it more difficult for any one pool to perform any further attacks. Again we are not 100% sure a attack did happen, but something had to have been attempted to caused mintpal to take anti 51% attack measures. We would like to ask our community to take immediate action to help us better secure our net hash rate allowing us time to investigate exactly what did or did not happen and to take further measures to ensure nothing like this can happen in the future.

d'awww our karma got too hot and everyone wants a peace of it. sadly some one is trying to cheat. Mintpal is like "nope" here is 200 confirmation. sucks for you to waste all that hash power but to avoid any further attacks lets all come together and help out. lets all mine under p2p pools http://karma.p2pool.altcoin.dk/is my to go to p2p pool . This is altcoingood's pool. He has been and still is working 24/7 on helping out our community. HE has given us our fist reddit tip bot. A working block explorer when the old dev took it away from us. And recently two pools. HE is still working on an escrow-type bot and a market for us as well. most importantly he is part of the team and if we would need him to change anything we can rest assure that he will work with us jump on this and help us out : )
