global hashrate is pretty low right now. it is taking forever each block. so most are either not ready yet. Or maybe botnets and asic was really heavy on monero

Well this explorer says currently 17 blocks on new fork, laptop cranking away 78 h/s the daemon lists a hash rate that is a long average, according to hyc via reddit. (still saying 1.13 gh)

I think I found the flaw in our plan of looking at the hash rate to determine roughly who is what. By when/how much the hash goes back up etc.
However, If it drops significantly now? it will probably attract new or retired miners to the project so skewing the figures.

Well I don't have much. But I did put a couple ryzen CPU on it this morning via supportxmr. Got NVidia GPU which don't hash great on this algo so that's it for me.

Is it really untraceable? What about regulations forcing to make cryptocurrency traceable? Would be interesting to know how Monero can cope with it.

The loss of hashing makes me nervous. If there are as many miners or more working on the old chain than the new one, who's to say they won't stay there ?

So, if only 20% of miners are voting does that mean lots of bots or just people who don't care as long as they get their dividends?

Sorry I want to ask you something. What are the benefits of this Hard Fork Monero Will it generate a new token like its BTC The scheduled network upgrade introduced two major changes. First, a PoW tweak to curb any potential threat of ASICs and preserve ASIC resistance. As a result, miners will have to update their miners (i.e. mining software). Second, the minimum ring size is bumped to 7 (mixin 6).

So, if only 20% of miners are voting does that mean lots of bots or just people who don't care as long as they get their dividends? tHEY WILL CARE WHEN THEY FIND OUT ALL THE EXCHANGES ARE ON THE NEW CHAIN AND THEIR NEW COINS ARE UNSELLABLE. goddamn cAPSLOCK! Lets not forget there are alot of people that don't keep up on things and only notice something is not working when they don't get paid. All these gamers that mine on the side don't keep up with the latest news. Sorry I want to ask you something. What are the benefits of this Hard Fork Monero Will it generate a new token like its BTC No it will not by design (but who knows it could), the main reason is to split off the ASIC's and of course there are huge improvements to the Core like Bulletproofs and MULTISIG!!! Oh wait, I think BP will be on the next release, you'll have to look up the list. Exchanges are all on new fork i guess. Any exchange that lists bitmain-monero?
Haha, not gonna happen. better dump those things now. You should have never bought into them.

Support XMR shows a reduction in pool hash rate however still says 1.14 gh/s for network hash rate.
Is there a problem?

it's ok, We need to wait 720 blocks to find out the real network.

So with the Monero hard fork, will there be another coin created, like in case of bitcoin and litecoin?
