I have been sampling various XMR pools with my claymore using 480 cards and it seems like none of are close to the what to mine prediction. WTM is actually pretty close for other coins and cards.

Any suggestions for a XMR pool?

TIA

would it be possible to make the devfee 1% instead of 2% sir Claymore? i mean, if Dual / merge mining would be possible 2% would be Ok...

it would be a step in the right direction even if 1% is already absurd.

Yeah. i hope that he would adjust the fee's, as mining ETH+Alt coin is more profitable than mining XMR+ the 2% fee...

i hope Gateless would give us update or SG-Miner? which has no fee. im a correct? Grin

Here's a cryptonote hardware mining comparison schedule for 93 AMD cards plus a few NVIDIAs. -- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/t_usoLpWsHq7K6-PeYXigCw/htmlview

Can somebody explain - WU in table? Also, what is meaning of A, R, HW, ST, SS  NB, LW, GF, RF when running SGminer ? (just comparing to claymore's and saw strange shortcuts)

(5s):4.226K (avg):3.995Kh/s | A:1320015  R:120001  HW:0  WU:1.683/m
ST: 1  SS: 0  NB: 3  LW: 958  GF: 0  RF: 0

Not sure what the bottom line says, but you(?) have almost 10% of shares rejected there "Accepted:1320015  Rejected:120001"

Thanks for reply mate. Didnt know that. Thanks for poinitng out that i have a huge A/R ratio. I find a user manual (few minutes ago) here https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer (scroll down to text). What is acceptable rejected ratio share? Like in ETH (1% max)?

EDIT:
It is actualy a total dificulty of (A)cepted shares and (R)ejected shares....if I understand it correct

p.s. Sorry if my English is bad

Cryptonight has way lower tolerance for overclock, undervolt, mem errors and such than ETH, so you should give it more juice and lower the clocks. I'd say that 2-4% is the 'desired' range of rejects.

820H/s+ on 470 here. Tongue

Yeah... sure...
You just forgot to mention that you have custom modded memory straps and private optimized kernel.
Without going above 1180MHz core and using ETH straps on public miners (GG is the most stable for now) I'm not able to see more than 730H on 470

EDIT: wtf... my mistake... I've just replied to some ancient post

730 h/s is not to be spat on, the 470 is a relatively cheap card after all and it does much better than more expensive gpus.

Got 6 470 4GB cards but I only get 575 h/s a card. What am I doing wrong?

this is GatelessGate:

I have also SGMiner-GM that gives higher rate (2-3%) but it produces way more rejects on XMR dwarf(even with no stale shares submitted), while it could do just fine with monero clones on other pools.
Had no time to check whether these rejects are of any substance, but it hurts my eyes:)

EDIT: Note that Samsung mem on 470 is set to 1750MHz, it's because it gives higher rates than on 2000MHz and this is a complete mystery to me... No mem errors and same GPU mem timings. Algo seems to be getting a boost from some "good sync" issue.

Was just reading claymore eth tread I think claymore going to release a update he said he just finished asm kernels for all cards but vega for xmr so Im thinking a updated miner will probably be faster

Nope. Don't see a point of using nicehash, but there's nicehash' fork of SGM
It's "awesome miner" app which in many cases more preferable than third party web hosted service

What's the best -h value for 4/580?

It really depends on how hard you want to push the card / what the extra power consumption is worth to you. I'm running:

-a 4
-h 1920
-cvddc 850
-mvddc 850
-cclock 1150
-mclock 2250

Average Hashrate for last 6 hours: 2,963.3 H/s (or ~493.9 H/s per card)

Runs about 80-85w/card and maxes out around 779w total from the wall (total rig - 6 RX580's, 1000wPSU + 850wPSU). Temp 45 (fan 60%),

I'm kinda curious what the flags are to get 700+ H/s though?!

Memory is what counts my Sapphire 470's with  Samsung ram and uber-mix timings are hitting 780  (1100/2075) while my poor asus with micron and 1425 memory straps top out at 662 (1100/1750)

Use sgminer?

-i 896
-w 8
-g 2
cpu 1100 memory 2100

rig from wall: 630w

https://imgur.com/a/orVtM

Just 1750 -to- 2000 memory straps and thats all.

My rx 470 are doing much better. Something is wrong with your settings.
724 H/s @ <80W from the wall average per card from 12x rx 470 nitro (non-plus), using sgminer-gm. Modded bios - Samsung memory 1750 -> 2000 straps (last PBE can't recognize the memory and there are better mixed straps I suppose). Memory @ 1950-1980, GPU clock @ 1169, both downvolted using AB (-96) and Wattool (additional core downvolt and memory @ 870 (two of the cards are @ 900 or they are not stable - they were stable at 870 too, but I'm not sure what happened). 63C @ 35% fan, stable, <0.4% rejected, no HW errors. It goes to 740+ average stable, but with 15-20% more power and <1% rejects. I didn't tried the blockchain drivers yet.

Registered just to say thank you, Claymore, your fee is greatly outweighed by the 10+% increase I get in hashrates on my old 270s compared to any of the other miners.

Also, now that there are other coins based off of cryptonight that are getting profitable, it would be nice if you make a sumo and/or generic cryptonight miner.

Thanks for all you do.

Is it possible to dual mine with cryptonight algorithms?
Minergate offers XDN-XMR mining; but is there a way to mine XMR-SUMO?

It's called merged mining, what minergate is offering.
