If you guys can pull yourself away from a personal argument Can I make a suggestion for unclaimed stakes?

I recently have been impressed by NXTTY and see a massive potential for mobile messaging linked with cryptocurrency. Why not keep a good sized chunk separate so someone can create an app similar to NXTTY that uses NEM. You can air drop them into accounts or maybe people get a share when they download the app etc.

It's better than creating another currency ontop of NEM for an app like this and it has massive potential if popular to supercharge NEM and it's uptake.

If nxxty is ok, why copy or making things twice - we should try to cooperate as long as both sides can generate advantage

Nxtty is not just an app that runs on NXT.

It will be an app that will accept other coins like Bitcoin. It will create a marketplace within the app. If the NEM community joins this wonderful adventure, maybe we can create something inside the Nxtty environment that will benefit NEM as well.

The devs of Nxtty worked months and months to create this app. It's a waste of time to create something similar. We can unite and fight against the same competition.

I didn't know they were developing trading of other coins...first I've heard of it.

Not just trading other coins, but spending them to buy stuff.

Or Tip awesome posts. Send them to a friend.

A desktop version will be launched as well.

Just a pity that all devices cant download yet as a lot of people try to download but cant.....I suppose the devs couldnt wait any longer to launch.  I dont think its going to be long though.....for iphones, ipads etc to be able to download.

He is a dev and he knows very well how to install NEM.

And propably there arent even demand for such an app like nxtty, who knows. There are hundreds different message-apps, so i would check how this one succeed for first.

 We are talking about somebody who created 500  billion NXT worth of assets when the total supply is only 1 billion - this massive inflation (and dumping) is what is destroying the value of NXT coin.  

Well Nxtty is a real thing (innovative thing )out in the public domain now, I am kinda hoping that it makes it  big and brings renewed interest to NXT. NXT has been good to me in the past and I hope its price rises again. I think there is room for NEM and NXT to advance greatly.

As for James,  well I like the idea of  Privatebet but its furthest from being ready I have read. Im just not convinced with the way in which he jumps all over the place with his interests. Taking assets from here to put them there....but hes made a lot of people money so thats good .

I think, james isn´t loosing it  He just applies his own standards, and do you know how much a lost day of "fiddling around" for james (and therefor in part our) projects means ?
I was fiddling around 2 days getting to run NIS and NCC correctly ( mainly because of stuck NIS at certain blocks) and other unnecessary errors, like quite a few other people. You can read that mess, among other places, at:  https://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2595.45
So, its not that he had to additionaly inform the devs about it . .

Isn´t that understandable, that this makes us nervous ? I, for one, will wait a little more, until i sent my stakes in, until everything is really working for me (granted, i have still vista on a old 32 bit lappy here, but it seems to be working now, but i will still test until i´m comfortable to send my stakes, i bought them with hard earned money)

Btw: i have no idea, how i got the NEM-beta running, i just closed and restarted NIS and NCC many times and just left it running the whole day and suddenly NIS is synchronized, yeah !
("BloodyRookie" was talking about a bottleneck . . , so i poured it in a glass ! )

Im`m not even a "simple" C-programmer, so it was just a question of patience for me, but then again, i don´t have the workload, time restrictions and standards as james.

But, james, we and you heard in this thread, from "kodtycoon", that everybody WILL be given sufficient time, to redeem, and that there will be NO technical reasons to not to be able to !

James, you just need an assistent, (possibly a very beautiful and sexy one), who can spend half her day trying to get the trivial things done, and the other half day, she could massage your "neck", while you are coding other serious stuff . . .

ok, hello guys. I registered the token that was sent to me.
I figured redeeming stakes started.
I don't have traded on next ae, so no claimed nxt-tokens in my case.

Now if i run bob.nem.ninja/webstart it shows me a page where it says 'create new wallet'. I click that and create wallet.

My two questions:
1) is this already real nem-wallet or is it still testnet?
2) if this is the real adresses i can create now with bob.nem.ninja, what do i have to do now to receive my nem-stake? (where to send the adress to to get the coins credited?)

1. It is a real NEM wallet address, but it's only there so you can use it in the redemption process. Later you will receive your NEM on the address you provide.

If you can't destroy unclaimed stakes you're just a joke.
I say: either lift timelimit and let everyone claim as long as  they want OR destroy the unclaimed stakes but keeping up to 40% of supply in very few hands makes this coin trust-based and for that reason dramatically lowers the outlooks of it. No matter how shiny your shit is, it can't obscure what greedy bastards you are. You don't care about NEM or the project. Everyone is focused on personal gains. No other way to explain this redemption-process. Period.

Destroy stakes, let people claim longer or be called greedy pigs and lower outlooks of nem-project dramatically - pretty simple, like it or not.
