Short question about about the remark on the beta download page: I use Firefox 32 bit and a 64 bit Java on Ubuntu - everything works fine. Why the restriction?  I suppose the address/key generation is not affected by this, the data look fine and the client has verified them correctly...

Which restriction do you mean ?
If you were able to generate a key then everything is fine

Edit: I was just wondering because the download page says I should install Java 32/64 bit depending on the browser version (32 vs. 64), which is not the case on my system, but so far, everything works fine.

About the appeal...in your case it isn't going to get your anywhere. The data speak a very clear language.

We didn't take all stakes away from puppet masters so you can register your other stakes (and according to the db you already have)

this stuff aint funny somehow i get the same message. i am not a sockpuppet. registered my token when i was told to do so.  maybe because it was on the same computer as my colleague who actually told me about NEM??

The irony is as these sock puppets or at least some of them get lost we end up with an even smaller pool of people.


Worse still those that will survive are most likely the most skilled hacker types that could get around all this NSA style snooping.

Why did you split the process into two with no clear definition of time between? Worst idea ever.

What does 'slight waiting period' mean? Cause if its more than 5 minutes its not a short time is it...and if its days or weeks then this is retarded way to distribute. You have made two steps separated by an undefined time delay for no apparent reason.

a) Everyone must be given time to register, that is obvious, and I guess doesn't have to be explained
b) We need to know how many unclaimed stakes will there be, before we start phase two

c) getting rid of sock puppets

The difference you communists fail to understand is those stakeholder put down real money for a chance at a coin that had no guarantee of any success or even existing. The only fair IPO is one where people are rewarded by the risk they take. NEM was a guaranteed pay out for those good at making sock puppets....thats all.
